As we rummage through our wardrobes, the celebs are here with their chic inspirations for the week;From Saweetie’s take on the Neon inspiration to Beyonce’s quintessential style statement and Zendaya’s head-turner outfit, we picked out the most stylish looks of the week.

Saweetie

This year neon has decided to take over every season in multiple iterations. This week, in the chapter of the striking neon outfits, it’s Saweetie’s bralette and over-shirt balanced with a pair of high rise jeans in black and considering shirt-jackets a.k.a shackets are piping hot right now, the sensational singer shows us that when the neon fever gets caught, it should be done right. She also paired the outfit with some dramatic rings and chain-link neckpiece along with neon pointed pumps.

Beyonce

What’s an Instagram post without Queen Bey’s OOTDs? Fans will agree because Beyonce remains the quintessential celebrity of badass music and bomb outfits, so if you like it, then you put a ‘bookmark’ on it. This week she decided to pair a slinky pale turquoise gown featuring a thigh-high slit and a gorgeous cowled plunging neckline boldly showing off her lingerie. The satin luxe dress is paired with an overcoat lined with posh animal print and crystal-studded jewelleries accompanied with a turquoise a pair of strappy sandals and retro glasses.

In another post about her recent visit to Venice, Beyonce dropped the lets-get-down to business look and we would like to call it ‘The Boss-Bey’. Paired with a black Alice + Olivia blazer, the vintage Jean Paul Gaultier top is sheer with typography details in black. The black wide-leg leather pants offer a glam quotient to the look. The ensemble features black peep-toed heels, hoop earrings, and black shades.

Dua Lipa who recently walked for Versace’s show paid homage to the label’s signature Medusa safety pin, but that’s not all. She brought out yet another Y2K feel with a purple shiny skirt paired with a slime green top. Can you hear those weekend beats? Good, because the sequinned mini skirt, perfect for letting yourself loose and jiving features a sensual slit held together with safety-pin detailings. The top is paired with a gold chain-link neckpiece from the label itself. The final touches are a pair of stain green heels and safety-pin neon earrings. We sense a preparation for the incoming disco-nights and fizzy drinks.

Before the sensational proposal that had Instagram in splits with outpours of Awws and Omgs, Kourtney Kardashian stepped out with fiance Travis Barker in a sexy corset top and leather fetish. Waist-defining corset tops have been lurking around every fashion corner and this one gives all the feline feels. Paired with the top is a pair of black patent leather pants.

Zendaya

The forever bold and sensational, Zendaya has become the latest fashion icon for all fashion enthusiasts. From nailing fashion weeks, to premier events, Zendaya religiously has the crowd turning their heads. Styled by Law roach (weaving magic as usual and BTS star behind Zendays’s iconic looks) the actress wore a delicate custom heart dress by Nensi Dojaka paired with brown pointed heels as she stepped out for the premier of Dune in London.

Hailey Baldwin Bieber

Hailey Bieber stepped out in an elegant Miu Miu cropped blazer with sailor collar detail in white and full sleeves. Paired with the blazer is a high-waisted pencil skirt. The young model stepped out on carpets of a Hollywood event and nailed the night with the subtle look paired with minimal jewellery and a black pair of heels.

Spring is quickly approaching and the fashion on Instagram is giving us an insight into the trends of the season. With March already teasing us with sun and brighter evenings, we’re really feeling the summer vibe in the wintertime. We’ve spotted vibrant colours, abstract prints, wraparound sunnies, funky accessories and unapologetic cut out pieces because 2021 is all about confidence and change.

WUZ GOOD

Key tend alert: Colour blocking. Street Style queen Wuz Good is giving us spring vibes in her colourful oversized cardigan paired with the iconic 80s windbreaker inspired Sean Wotherspoon Nike Air Max 97s; one of the brands most colourful collaborations. There are no dark colours to be seen in this look, even the accessory choices of a pastel blue Kangol bucket hat and chunky gold chains are unapologetically eye-catching. 

Kali Uchis

Dripping in Moschino, Kali Uchis is bringing the gold chains trend home – and we’re loving it. Paired with a risqué cut out dress which shows off her gorgeous curves, she really said hot girl summer with this look.

Head to toe style. Expect to see A LOT of bright colours this season and especially retro green. Nothing says spring like this shade, right? More prints… you’ll be seeing lots of abstract silhouettes this season and Sav Hudson is channelling this trend to a T in her Fruity Booty Lingerie set. Looking fierce in cheetah, with eye catching red and blue tones. But let’s take a look at her accessories – wraparound shades seem to be all the hype this season, playing on y2k influences, and the BIGGER the BETTER seems to be the message.

Lena, hot girl summer is coming we know but PLEASE wait for us to catch up. Sporting a gorgeous lime green backless piece by Fashion Nova, it seems the cut-out silhouettes are everywhere. She’s completed the look with a stack of funky rings, making this outfit pastel heaven – with pinks, purples, blues, greens and yellows. Dressing up your fingers has never been cooler, spring 2021 is ALL about bold accessories.

Ever wondered how to make pastels look badass? Take some tips from Holly Marston’s style. Nothing is off the table for this celebrity manicurist, with lavishly *extra* designs for the baddest and bougiest out there. We’re seeing everything from iridescent butterflies to Rihanna inspired bondage—the creativity is next level and we can’t wait to see what’s next.

5. @sojinails

Inspired by nature, this page is simply one you cannot miss. With every design is a new installation, whether it be underwater coral reefs, 3D ethereal fungi, or seaweed shells made with real shells from Morro Bay, there is an element of the unexpected and the unapologetically alien. Luckily, we don’t have to attempt these ourselves as custom stick-ons can be made to order. Phew.

A breath of fresh air can be the best way to describe the content on this beauty-infused page, as we scroll past island resort-ready mani’s and pedi’s that have us avidly screenshotting for when summer finally comes around again. Simple yet beautiful, it’s no wonder this manicurist is a favourite between celebrity makeup artist Nikki Wolff and Gal Gadot during her second premiere as Wonder Woman. 

7. @nail_unistella

Park Eunkyung presents us with a flood of imagination alongside some of the biggest names in fashion—think Nike, Fendi, Yves Saint Laurent, and Chanel. But it’s not just the fashion labels that have us enticed, oh no. It’s the use of unconventional materials and abstract vision to keep pushing boundaries that gives her work an indescribable edge to stand out amongst the crowd.

Nail and hair studio ‘Dry By London’ offer us the royal treatment with their elegantly poised designs fit for a Duchess—quite literally the official hand behind Megan Markle’s royal wedding manicure, we can expect only the best from these modern purveyors of luxury. Not only exquisite for daily wear, but this studio is also ideal for any bride-to-be.

Nail artist to the stars and long-time favourite of Kylie Jenner and Khloe Kardashian, Chaun is undoubtedly ahead of the game when it comes to the biggest nail trends of the moment—proven by the abundance of bubble-gum graffiti and killer claws adorning his mesmerising feed, with the occasional mario kart nail for Christina Aguilera and tropical sunrise for Madonna.

An electrifying acid trip meets 90s nostalgia, Fuego Nails have energised nail art to the point of female empowerment by fusing their passion for manicure design with that of political change. This January, fashion on Instagram is all about combining luxury with practicality. This month we saw teasers of the long-awaited Gucci x North Face Collaboration – we’re talking monogram prints, puffer jackets and dreamy earth-toned hues, three major trends which keep popping up on our feeds. Here’s a round-up of some of our favourite celebrity/ model looks we’ve spotted on Instagram lately.

Leather, rich chocolate tones, gold accessories and playful oversized shapes are all the rage amongst the Insta community right now and we’ve picked a few of our favourite looks to give you a boost of winter fashion inspiration.

  1. Leather and Chocolate Brown

Straying from her usual choice of body-hugging garments, Kim has combined three key trends here: leather, chocolate brown and monotonal dressing – and we’re all for it. Not only do we have a variety of tones and textures of brown in this look, but the accessory choices of a monogrammed Louis Vuitton bag, headband and gold earrings give a subtle nod to 1990s and early 2000s styling, without the horrendous low rise jeans.

2. Playful Accessories

Another chocolate brown puffer – expect to see these A LOT this season – but this time it’s teamed with some seriously playful accessories. Oversized sunglasses are back, and what better way to wear them than with a matching gold Prada headband? We only wish we could look this chic in the snow…

3. Earth Tones

Earth tones are big this January, but they don’t have to be muted. Saweetie shows us exactly how to dazzle in this stunning forest-green Gucci monogrammed co-ord. Check out that jacket with a zipped high collar combined with those regal oversized sleeves – talk about pushing the boundaries of style. And what better way than to finish the look but with gold jewellery and coordinating pink hair?

4. Futuristic

This look is nothing short of futuristic – we love the juxtaposition here of muted base pieces with the oversized drama of the black puffer and furry snow boots. A diamond-shaped bag, enormous chain necklace and striking red sunglasses complete this avant-garde look which demonstrates perfectly that experimentation with fashion doesn’t always have to be about colour.

5. Femininity

Opulence, jewel-tones and the beauty of the female body all spring to mind with this jaw-dropping corset outfit. With a huge nod to the silhouettes of Vivienne Westwood we love the nod to sports luxe with the addition of the muted leggings.

6. Playful Tailoring

Never one to shy away from bold silhouettes, Lissy Roddy shows us how to do playful tailoring here by layering a turtle-neck, blazer and gold jewellery, then cinching in the whole look with an oversized chain belt. Strong shoulder pads and monogrammed sunglasses give this look an androgynous 80’s twist.

7. Colour Clashing

Always one to push the limits of colour clashing, @sitabellan gives us oversized sunglasses, a monogrammed bag, print trousers and a sports-luxe rashguard – all at the same time. The use of primary colours; the red, green and oh let’s not forget, blue wig, make the outfit strangely cohesive, and we’re loving the vintage shape of those sunglasses.

@uglyworldwide is another iconic influencer who encourages having a pop of colour in everything she wears, from her makeup to her clothes. Jazzelle brings such a presence to the streets with her grunge and eccentric style, she is not one to miss! She has styled the personalised sheer Aunecollection top with neon fishnet tights that pop out from under the jeans. Jazelle finishes the look off with a rather daring check jacket. We can’t forget that hats are a staple piece this season as well. They bring the whole look together and we are here for it!

8. Delicate

Demonstrating how bold fashion can also be delicate, Aune Collections plays with sheer fabric, print and asymmetric shape here to create this beautiful design. Halter necklines and spaghetti strap heels give this look a nineties supermodel edge, but it’s the printed gloves which take this outfit to the next level.

9. Texture

Jessica Wang embodies cool girl winter chic perfectly with this incredible partnership of knitwear, leather-look wide-leg trousers, chunky trainers, a signature bucket hat and oh let’s not forget, THAT Chanel bag. Again we can see a playful use of textures and shapes to create drama with a fairly demure colour palette and we love the pairing of the matching knitwear and shiny sleek trousers. Using a perfect example of framing by quietly matching the tone of her shoes and hat, Jessica has cleverly put all the attention on that dramatic combination of super modern leather and the effortlessly classic Chanel.

10. Vintage

Bibi Abdulkadir’s style never disappoints as she showcases a Fendi chocolate brown puffer with sexy fishnet stockings. Fendi doesn’t just stop with a vintage styled puffer though, if winter is making you feel chilly, make sure to add an eye-catching print to this month’s wardrobe.

Although we are staying at home at the minute, Instagram street style this January has given us the inspiration to have a play around with our clothes and to not be afraid to try something new. It’s time to rifle through for our puffer jackets, gold jewellery and oversized sunglasses, oh… and anything brown…
