Add A Chunky Boot And Blazer To Your Spring/Summer Shopping List – Here’s What Fashionable Influencers Are Wearing This Week

Oversized blazers of all colours, platform boots and mini handbags are just a few of the staple pieces on our feeds this week. From Dua Lipa’s standout performance look to Hailey Bieber’s boss woman take on street style – here’s what fashionable influencers are wearing on Instagram this week.

Dua Lipa

Taking to the BBC Radio 1 Lounge in knee high leather boots and an oversized blazer, Dua Lipa is showing us how to turn up to work in style. If there’s one style tip for SS21 it’s that platforms are back and they’re the perfect addition to any look. Effortless and chic, the patterned romper and bomber combination is ideal for warmer days and versatile enough for all your post lockdown plans. These Prada pieces are part of their unreleased collection, but we’ve picked out some alternatives for your basket.

Kimberly Skinny

Clean and creative, Kimberly Skinny paired a full sage green suit with the Puma Wild Racers and floral accessories. This smart-casual approach to streetwear is the aesthetic of the season, mixing sporty with chic, and we’re here for it. The look is tied together with key tones and colours, from pastel pinks to electric blues – the brighter the better.

Beyoncé

Green is definitely a colour to invest in for SS21 – Beyoncé took to Instagram in a Aune Collection mesh dress, coordinated with green slingback heels and a small tote bag. Mix shades, patterns and tones. Mesh pieces are bound to make a statement with designers all over Instagram incorporating the trend into this season’s collections, Aune being a standout brand in the market. We believe this silhouette is bound to become timeless.

Solene OJ

An oversized blazer can easily become your statement piece and what’s better than one in hot pink? Paired with a simple pair of white baggy jeans and gold accessories, Solene OJ is making it easy to style neon tones. Spring ready, this outfit is essential for the change of seasons. Our style tip is easy, replace your jacket with a blazer and make it your pop of colour.

Tegan Barker

If you’d rather opt for a timeless black blazer – take some style tips from Tegan Barker’s monochrome look. In a cool, preppy combination of a roll neck jumper, blazer and the Naked Wolfe platform sandals, you’ll be ticking off more than one SS21 trend. Pairing sandals with socks is very controversial trend but definitely noteworthy this season – in all its essence, we actually think, if done right it can be fashionable and this is a perfect example.

Julia Dang

Maxi skirts are in and this leather piece is essential. Paired with the Stella McCartney vegan platform boots and a neon mesh long sleeve, Julia Dang is turning every street into a runway. The details are effortless, with the kaleidoscope glasses co-ordinating with the tones of her top and acrylics. This season, we’ve spotted animal prints derive from their traditional colours with bold, vibrant combinations, again in line with the mesh takeover. Now, Julia’s piece is thrifted – but we’ve found the perfect top to complete your look.

Lissy Roddy

Already we’ve seen blazers in pink, black and sage, and now Lissy Roddy has taken to Instagram in a PU neon orange piece. Who said this silhouette couldn’t be used as a dress? Well, this look just proved them wrong. Not only can a blazer be your statement jacket this spring, but it can also be your whole outfit. Paired with a pair of Balenciaga Track trainers in their classic orange colourway and with a ruched shoulder bag to prove that simplicity is key, but so is colour coordination.

Kandie

Nothing can turn heads like a co-ord and this House of Sunny satin set is taking us back to the 70s with its groovy patterns. If you hadn’t already noticed, patterned pieces are in for SS21. Bold and retro, this look is complete with a pair of platform sandals and a chic shoulder bag – co-ords are the easiest outfits to style since the clothes do all the work for you.

Hailey Bieber

The perfect example of how a model struts the streets off duty – in a houndstooth blazer, split flares and an amazing pair of Amina Muaddi heels, Hailey Bieber is all the street style inspiration we need. If you weren’t already convinced, this look is an example of how a blazer can be dressed up this season – perfect for a lunch date with the girls or even a beer garden cocktail.

Megan Fox

All black never goes out of style and Megan Fox was spotted in a look which shows us how to incorporate it with SS21 trends. In a cut out top, leather trousers and Jimmy Choo stilettos – this outfit will have you ready for a post lockdown night out. Asymmetric pieces are definitely a statement this spring and they can easily be dressed up or down, depending on the occasion. Opt for a glam look like Megan, or pair with a trainers and jeans for every day.
