]]> This week celebrates the 20th anniversary of the release of the mega-pink hit film Legally Blonde. The film, which was Reese Witherspoon’s breakout hit, is well-regarded for its story of overcoming stereotypes and misconceptions. But in addition to that, its hot pink sense of fashion is also unforgettable, with the shade featuring on just about everything Elle Woods owns, from fluffy pink bunny suits to tailored courtroom attire.

And just like everything else Y2K, the movie’s styles straight out of 2001 are making a comeback on current influencers. And the hyper-pink look is not the only thing returning — there is to be a new film in the franchise coming out next year, which will bring the story into a new era.

In one of the chicest outfits pulled together, Zendaya struts in a multicoloured almost ‘70s print split dress, which peeks through a mahogany leather trench coat and matching pair of thigh-high boots. The matching coat and shoe blend seamlessly with the warm tones of the dress underneath.

Socks n Sandals

In a pink-nude colour palette, Zendaya wears an off-white blazer, oversized in order to match the vibes of the baggy pink combat trousers. The daring socks and sandals move are unsurprisingly pulled off with a chunky black slide, making Zendaya’s ensemble the perfect blend between street and event wear.

Another business casual meets chic look from Zendaya features a blend of a suit and crop top. Preppy-meets chic is written all over this monochrome look from Zendaya. In a grey collared dress with a low pleated skirt hem, Zendaya layers up with a light grey coat left open. Kravitz’s combination of sleek, cropped hair, a mini bright green clutch bag, and black loafers retain an effortlessly chic vibe to the otherwise colourful outfit.

In a snap that belongs on everyone’s summer mood boards, Kravitz demonstrates the perfect casual summer look. A plain blue tank with loose-fitting black trousers was a great balance with an earthy-toned tote bag and subtle choker necklace. On the streets of New York City, Kravitz rocked a monochromatic tan outfit featuring a knee-length coat, loose-fitting trousers, and an oversized warm jumper. Accessories include chunky black shoes and a brown and black colour block shoulder bag.
