Save this first make up look straight into your make up folder! If disco vibes with a hint of euphoria and some dramatic eyeliner is up your street then this look is for you.  

This eye shadow look is giving drama and sass thanks to the combination of the glittery eyeshadow and the bold arty eyeliner. Frankie accentuates her eyes beautifully by styling eyeliner below, above and to the side of her eyes. She then adds in some loose eyeshadow by Karla for that sparkle in the middle. 

Frankie uses black eyeliner to create her bold flicks. We recommended the Mac or the Benefit liquid eyeliners for this look as they are super pigmented and  long lasting, exactly what you need from a liquid eyeliner. 

For that dash of sparkle on the eyes, Frankie uses the Karla Nightfall Opal Multi Chrome Loose Eyeshadow. This eyeshadow has a lovely sheer multi-tonal effect and is beautifully luminous upon the eyes. 

This look is super fun and very pretty! It would work perfectly when going to a festival, party or even on a night out. Whatever you have planned, this look will be sure to turn heads and create a stir.

Are we still on the pink hype? You betcha! This next look incorporates shimmery pink eyeshadow that isn’t just in Frankie eyes, but below them and on her cheeks too! She’s gone for a duochhrome blush moment and the results are irresistible. 

Her look almost resembles a butterfly. The arched winged navy blue eyeliner hugs her eyelids and the shimmering eyeshadow that continues on the corner of her under eye. 

To create the arched wing, Frankie starts off with black eyeshadow as a base and then goes in with some liquid eyeliner to bring the pigment and sheen look. She then applies some shimmery eyeshadow in shades navy blue and pink on her eyelid as well as using the same colour on her cheeks and under eye. 

For this look we recommend using the Mac Pro Palette eyeshadow for your base of the eyeliner and the Lancôme Artliner Eye Liner for a super wet and liquid eyeliner finish.

Frankie has called this next look the Vamp Soft Glam and we can see why. This look is all about the red eyeliner, dramatic and sharp just like a pair of fangs. To create this look Frankie has used a mixture of crayon eyeliner and red eyeshadow to create the blurred but still highly pigmented look. 

We think that the Barry M Hi Vis Bold Eyeliner or the NYX Professional Longwear Line Matte Lip Liner would be ideal for this look. Lip liner and crayon eyeliner are both perfect products to use when creating a look like this as they are smooth and long lasting. It may sound alternative to recommend a lip liner for a eyeliner look but trust us, it can work.

For the red eyeshadow that goes on top, Revolution does a lovely palette that has an array of red shades which would be perfect if you haven’t yet decided how red you want to go. They also include a shimmery red in the Beetlejuice X Revolution Strange and Unusual palette that could be a subtle adaptation to this look. 

Alternatively if a ruby true red is what you’re after, the Nars eyeshadow in the shade Fatale is perfect for this look. It’s lovely cherry red and would look killer when worn in eyeliner form.

To make the eyeshadow look blurred and a little smokey simply blend it out with your finger or eyeshadow brush to create that hue look.

Frankie then finishes the look with a black mascara. This look is very striking and one we will be trying out asap. 

Ultraviolet

This next look looks like it’s straight off the runway. Frankie has gone ultraviolet and it looks incredible. She has gone in with a classic extended winged eyeliner combined with sprinkles of ultraviolet eyeshadow dotted around her eye. This look is totally mesmerising and one that we think is runway worthy. 

Frankie glass and natural looking skin is what allows this make up look to pop! She has used the Milk Makeup Bionic Bronzer and the Espressoh Glassy Blush on her face. She then uses the Sigma Beauty gel liner and the Karla Cosmetics Insomnia pigment eyes for those ultraviolet eyes. Her eyes look ethereal and are stunning. 

By making her eyeliner longer than usual and with a sharp point at the end it accentuates her eyes and adds a daring and sassy dynamic to the make up look. 

Ice Cold

If you’re wanting a simple look that doesn’t require much effort but still looks effortlessly beautiful this look will be perfect. Styling a beautiful blue shimmery eyeshadow look, Frankie has made one of the most dreamy eyeshadow looks going. This look resembles an icy aesthetic and one that we are obsessed with. 

Any shade blue would suit this look as it’s super simple and easy to do, so whatever your vibe is, it’s adaptable to fit it. 

The Rimmel Ojos Somb Magnif Mono is a lovely shimmery eyeshadow that would look beautiful for this look. Alternatively, if you fancy a palette that has a variety of irresistible blue shades the Beauty Bay Midnight 42 Colour Palette has a broad range of shades perfect for whatever your vibe is. 

This look is icy, stylish and fabulous, Frankie really has stolen the show with this one in our books.  

Flames

Our final look had to be something special, and what’s more fiery than some blue flames? 

This look is super creative and arty so if you’re in the mood for something a little different, this one could be right for you. 

For this look you’re going to want to have a blue and black liquid eyeliner handy and some striking blue lipgloss to match.

We recommend trying out the flames on paper first as they can be fiddly to do. Don’t be disheartened if you don’t get it right the first time, they are a little harder than some of the other looks we’ve included, but we promise the hard work will pay off. 

For this look, liquid eyeliner is your best bet at recreating these magnificent flames. The Kiko Super Colour Eyeliner that has a lovely intense colour and is perfect for mastering that sensual gaze that Frankie is giving in this look. Equally, the L’Oréal Paris Matte Signature Liquid Eyeliner comes in both shades blue and black, so it would be ideal for this look due to its matte appearance. 

Finally, those lips. Mac Retro Matte Liquid Lip Colour would be the perfect finishing touch to this look. It has a slight glitter to the gloss which would help elevate this look and truly make it mesmerising.

]]> Who said your eyes can’t be the statement piece? From hot pink lashes, pearl lined lids and neon decorated creases – it’s clear SS21 beauty is all about being bold, bright and brave. We’ve rounded up the best eye looks from our feeds this week to fuel your make up inspiration for the season.

Think Pink!

Nothing can make a look pop like a bold shade of hot pink. Not only is the colour trending in fashion, it’s found it’s limelight in the beauty world too – and not just with hair. Rowi Singh took to Instagram with an experimental, almost airbrush-like, look as part of her ‘Power Colour’ series and we’re up for the challenge of re-creating it. Using pink lashes by Isabelle De Vries and shades from Anastasia Beverly Hills Riviera palette, it’s impossible to not think pink this spring.

Ocean Eyes

One of our favourite looks by Doja in her recent ‘shadow experiments is this two-tone blue look which quite literally makes us think ‘ocean eyes’. With navy highlights on the crease and a wing created with paler blue tones on the outer eyes, lots of layer and depth is constructed. Note how you’re drawn to the eyes despite the coordinating blue top.

Lilac Magic

When in doubt add some lilac to your look, and what’s even better? Shimmer. In this full eye, artistic styling by Sophia Sinot – a mesmerising magical aura is created. With pops of highlight accentuating the lilac tones under the eye and nose, coloured gem freckles adding extra glam and the air-brushed effect providing an ethereal feel.

The Mint Edit

Ok so maybe you’d never thought to combine mint green and purple in your make up look, and we hadn’t – until now. These shades work together so well and Stenie took to Instagram to show us just how it’s done. With purple liner highlighting the eye, and bold cat eye-shaped mint shadow illuminating the entire lid – this look is bound to get you compliments this SS21.

A Touch Of Pearl

Pearls are definitely going to make a statement around your neck this spring, but who said they can’t be on your eyes too? In a chic, elegant smoky eye look, Char Barker lined her lids with small pearl studs which add a unique sense of texture and shimmer to the eyes. Although we can’t imagine the skill and patience it must take to apply each pearl, the effort is definitely worth it to create this head-turning eye statement.

The Eyes Chico They Never Lie

The main thing to take from this beauty looks round up is that your eyes are a canvas and it’s up to you to experiment and express yourself! Beauty influencer Soreya took to Instagram with a bold, neon patterned combination that is full of unbelievable talent – with contrasting pink tones on the lid and green highlighting the under eye and nose, created using melaliners by Chanel Cosmetics. There are no rules this SS21, go crazy.

The humble smokey eye—we all know it, we all love it, but do we know how to create it? Where there’s smoke there’s fire, and we’re ready to fan the flames this Christmas with an all-inclusive guide to smokey eyes. No matter your eye shape or colour, we’ve discovered the universal formula that’s simple to recreate and completely customizable.

If we really want to get technical, looking at colour wheels signify what tones are ideal for your eyes. The general rule of thumb is that to compliment your eye colour, it’s best to stay within your shade range. For example, those with blue eyes would be inclined to opt for cool greys, steel blues, and dark indigos. Whereas those with brown or hazel would find their match in neutral browns and honey golds. You get the idea. However, to enhance them, we’re taking a turn to the opposite end of the colour wheel—with those who have hazel eyes now reaching for the pastel and electric blues, and those with green eyes going for the daring plums and aubergines. 

The first thing you’ll need is a long-wearing, smudgy kohl pencil that’s both suitable for the waterline and easy to blend. The colour is all up to you—with tones ranging from black, brown, plum, and khaki depending on individual preference. We recommend MAC Cosmetics Technakohl Liners as they fit the bill in both blendability and endurance, and we’re truly spoiled for choice with eight shades to choose from. Apply liberally to both the upper and lower waterlines (yes, even the top waterline!) to enclose the eyes in colour, and extend just beyond the lash line to smudge with a flat shader brush. 

To prep the eyes for a dowsing of eye shadow, apply a thin layer of cream shadow all over the eyelids, past the socket line and just under the brow bone. The Tom Ford Emotionproof Eye Colors are ideal for an opaque and waterproof glaze, with a myriad of both mattes and shimmers. Use a fluffy blending brush like the MyKitCo 1.7 My Ultra Multi to diffuse any harsh edges that may arise. This will give you a soft veil of colour and an outline for the rest of your eyeshadow shades—however, this stage can also be finished off with lashings of mascara for a softer smokey effect. 

If you’re wanting to take things up a notch, use that same fluffy brush and dip it into your favourite eye shadow palette to start building additional depth. Start from the lash line and work your way up, keeping dark tones hugging the kohl pencil while lighter shades diffuse with the edges of the cream shadow base. At this point, you should be sizzling, smouldering and ready for ample amounts of your favourite mascara, and falsies if you’re feeling extra! 

Customise your eyes even further with additional shimmers, glitters, glosses, or crystals to make it truly your own. We’re all for a glossy eyelid, and Yves Saint Laurent have us covered with their Eye Gloss Smudger—ideal for that no-fuss, grunge glam, runway-ready effect.

Brown eyes are probably the most common eye colour, the two different types being golden brown and red/orange brown. Golden brown eyes work gorgeously with purple and blue colours such as eggplant, lavender, royal blue, magenta, lilac and sky.
