Scrolling For The Best Beauty Looks Of The Grammy Awards 2022…

What a night! Last night was the 64th annual Grammy Awards and some of our favourite celebs were spotted rocking some fierce beauty looks. Looking at recent big events such as the Grammys and Oscars, we are definitely seeing some emerging seasonal trends to keep our eyes on. From messy up-do’s to classy dark lips, there were a wide range of makeup looks and hairstyles to take note of and we are here to give you a run down of our stand out looks of the night!

Doja Cat

Best Pop/Duo Group Performance winner Doja Cat was seen at the ceremony in an aqua blue corseted dress paired perfectly with a blue tear drop bag. The outfit was complimented by a Y2K bleach blonde spiked hair-do and a beautiful silver-grey toned eye look with a glossy nude lip. The half-up half-down style seems to be a favourite for many this year, also seen on the likes of Billie Eillish at the Oscars and we think the dynamic twist on straight hair is going to be a huge trend this year! The glittery cut-crease eyeshadow look worked wonderfully with her skinny eyebrows and flawless skin. This look is giving us all that we needed!

Olivia Rodrigo

Olivia Rodrigo swept up 3 awards at this year’s ceremony, including the coveted Best New Artist. Between this, her beautiful dress, stunning hair and flawless makeup the princess of pop was the centre of everyone’s attention! The Driver’s License singer had soft wavy hair that complimented her dress perfectly whilst not taking too much attention away from it. The light pink shimmering eyeshadow combined with black winged liner matched the colours of her dress perfectly, creating a truly cohesive look that we are absolutely here for!

Megan Thee Stallion

Megan Thee Stallion served us the ultimate fierce look last night! With sleek, straight, glossy hair and a mischievous cat eye look Megan had us all gasping for air. The neutral toned matte shadows created a strong and slick cat eye effect whilst the bright inner corner created the illusion of a wider and brighter eye. Paired with her classic dark lined lip, everything came together perfectly, giving us a classy but fierce look that won’t soon be forgotten. Is it possible for Megan to ever look less than flawless?

Lil Nas X

Lil Nas X isn’t a stranger to wearing makeup on the red carpet and this year’s Grammys was no exception. The Montero singer was serving a subtle pop of shimmering blue in the corners of his eyes which complimented the cool shade of his Balmain outfit, tying the whole look together. His natural and glowing skin made the minimal yet effective look pop even more, proving that subtlety can go a long, long way.

Dua Lipa

The Montero singer was serving a subtle pop of shimmering blue in the corners of his eyes which complimented the cool shade of his Balmain outfit, tying the whole look together. His natural and glowing skin made the minimal yet effective look pop even more, proving that subtlety can go a long, long way.

Billie Eilish

Billie walked the red carpet in another bold monochrome creation, wearing an oversized black dress which perfectly complimented her glossy black hair. The messy spiked pony tail perfectly provides the effortless casual yet still fashion forward look that Billie always gets right! The long straight-cut bangs framed her face perfectly and fit the whole casual vibe of her look, whilst the thin, Matrix styled black sunglasses added just the right amount of cool.

Tierra Thomas

Singer-songwriter Tiara Thomas walked the red carpet in a stunning Alexander Wang outfit that had all eyes on her! Tiara rocked a metallic blue inner corner eyeshadow look, keeping her base makeup neutral and her lip nude, providing a minimal look that still demanded attention. The blue shimmers of the eyeshadow complimented the black mesh outfit perfectly. Tiara also wore her hair in slick bantu knots, a unique look not seen on the Grammys red carpet this year!

Lady Gaga

The iconic Lady Gaga wore custom Emporio Armani last night, for a look that was classic, simple and evoked classic Hollywood glamour. She kept this theme running throughout her hair and makeup too, further proof that we are seeing a return to the styles of the Roaring 20s this year. The twirly up-do definitely provided those 20s vibes, especially when paired with the classy black winged liner and glwmorous beauty spot under her right eye. The vintage Hollywood glamour is truly alive and here to stay!

Billy Porter

Billy Porter rocked a hot pink Valentino frilled suit and contrasted it with a bold, blue matte lip. Minimal base makeup and a white water line is a subtle and fun addition to the dark blue lipstick shade. Billy is known for always showing up and serving the best, most eccentric looks on the red carpets, and this year has so far proved no exception. We love that his amazing style is having an influence on other men in the industry and making them feel comfortable with wearing bold makeup that says goodbye to sterile gender norms!
