<p>The singer stole the show with her oversized, purple bird jacket and an outfit that was reminiscent of the early 2000s fashion scene amongst the punk and rapper community. Styled by, Jahleel Weaver, the multi-hyphenate wore the purple jacket with a checkered, tweed, red,Jacquard lining and a quilted leather finish over which the bird jacket laid. Rihanna choose to wore a white sport-jersey inspired slip with lace detailing below the jacket and excessively baggy JNCO-esque jeans popularized during the 90s. She accessorized the look by bringing back the “wallet string” chain except this was a string of diamanté hooked on to the loop of her jeans which collectively gave Green Day, Nickleback and Hot Topic a run for their money. She also wore a chunky necklace which coincided with the colours of the diamanté and stacked gold hoop earrings.</p>

<p>Rihanna’s makeup artist, Priscilla Ono gave her the signature Rihanna glow for her base, and an incredible purple smokey eye which I cannot help but see as a call back to the heavy purple shadows of the 00s, a la Britney Spears. She doubled down on the early noughties’ nostalgia with a dark lip liner and nude gloss. Rihanna’s hair was done by celebrity hair stylist, Yusuf who chose to put her hair in a preppy ponytail to match her top’s “Bring It On”, cheerleader vibes, with a curled swoop for her bangs in the front to frame her face.</p>



<p>The entire look was such a fun way to encapsulate the Y2K revival, especially as a celebrity who more or less defined the later years of the noughties. There is no one who could have pulled this look off other than her, once again proving there is no replacing the ultimate&nbsp;<em>bad girl, RiRi.</em></p>

<p>The new collection is yet another love child of Rihanna and American designer Adam Selman, another jewel in their illustrious history of collaborations together. Selman has previously been involved in some of the most iconic RiRi moments, such as the original Savage X Fenty capsule collection that launched Valentine&#8217;s 2020 and that infamous Swarovski naked dress moment that graced the 2014 CFDA Awards and pissed off the remaining two-thirds of TLC. </p>



<p>Functioning as the official executive design director for Savage X Fenty Sport, we have no doubt this new Selman and Rihanna collaboration will be yet another internet-breaking moment. </p>

<p>Actress Sienna Miller has been unveiled as the face of Oxfam’s #SecondHandSeptember&nbsp;campaign which is challenging shoppers to only buy second-hand clothing for the entire month. This works alongside donating our pre-loved items too. The goal of this is to raise awareness about the harmful effects of fast fashion which can be easily dismissed by consumers getting sucked into the throwaway fashion culture. &nbsp;</p>



<p>A colossal 13 million items of clothing a week are carelessly sent to landfill with the textile industry accounting for up to 10 percent of the worlds greenhouse gas emissions. Believe it or not this is more than international aviation and shipping combined! By consumers only purchasing second-hand clothing they can help Oxfam with their work to reduce these emissions. As well you can share your finds using the hashtag ‘secondhandseptember’ and tagging Oxfam so you can do your bit and help spread the message. As if everyone partakes in altering their shopping habits these small changes can make a massive difference.</p>



<p>Miller has been the focal point of a stunning photoshoot which will be seen on posters in the windows of over 500 Oxfam shops. In these images she is showing off her glamorous Oxfam clothing to represent the ongoing fight with throwaway fashion. These clothing items will be available for shoppers to purchase in Oxfam’s pop-up shop in Selfridges London, so they can dress to impress too whilst contributing to a sustainable future.</p>

<p>And she is not wrong! This campaign can be welcomed as a thrilling challenge as Oxfam’s stores have vintage gems up for grabs that can’t be found anywhere else.</p>



<p>Oxfam’s pop-up shop in Selfridges has been styled by the charities independent fashion advisor Bay Garnett who has included garments which will evoke nostalgia for the 1980s such as punk inspired clothing. This shop will also be selling a one-off T-shirt for the event designed by illustrator James Lacey.</p>

<p>Bay Garnett is a big advocate for this event as he claims, “I have always loved charity shopping &#8211; the creativity involved in putting random clothes together to make an outfit, and the independence of choosing second-hand…I &nbsp;love how the Selfridges pop-up shop brings Oxfam prices to&nbsp;Oxford&nbsp;Street,&nbsp;making it a choice that&#8217;s accessible to everyone’s pockets.”</p>



<p>Other brands supporting Second Hand September includes House of Baukjen who are launching their new Pre-loved scheme as they taking customers old clothing and recycling them into something new with 50% of net proceeds donated to Oxfam. Ebay, Joules and Superdry are also companies working alongside this scheme to help the cause by giving clothing a new lease of life.</p>



<p>There are no excuses to not take part either as this challenge is accessible to all as people can also support this campaign by shopping on the Oxfam Online Shop. And the silver lining of these purchases is that the money you spend will be put into the charities lifechanging work. For example, they aid people in coping with severe weather events such as the Cyclone Amphan in India and Bangladesh last year as well as planning for the consequences of future climate change.</p>



<p>It’s more important than ever to take part in this fight as Danny Sriskandarajah, Chief Executive of Oxfam GB states “Scientists warn we have just nine years to prevent catastrophic global temperature rises so all of us – governments, companies and individuals &#8211; have a role to play in rapidly reducing carbon emissions”. So, by opting for the second-hand clothing purchase, we can leave a lighter footprint on the planet as well as showing retailers that fashion needs to be slowed down. Just because you can’t feel the effects of climate change, does not mean no one else can. That is why by donating your money to Oxfam through these second hand purchases you are helping some of the world’s poorest people cope with these climate changes.</p>

<p>The Oxfam x Bay Garnett pop-up shop runs from 6 September until the end of December and the money raised will go to Oxfam’s work beating poverty around the world. <p>When many imagine the rodeo, they may think of images of the “Old West” stereotype made popular in 1950s movies; but that’s due to change now that Beyonce has put her own brand on what cowboy/cowgirl life can<em> really </em>look like.</p>



<p>The songstress has taken up the saddle to bring a fresh look to the rodeo pen with her latest IVY PARK x Adidas collection — which she’s premiered in a video featuring her and other ultra-talented individuals modelling the looks from her latest line.</p>



<p>As the video branches its look and message far beyond any stale vision of cowboy life, it highlights the too often forgotten narrative of black cowboys and cowgirls (it is estimated by historians that 1 in 4 cowboys were black) and allows us to rethink what is activewear — and what it could look like. </p>



<p>There are still stretchy gym-ready looks in head-to-toe monochrome (playfully worn with matching cowboy hats on coordinating carousel horses), but there are also denim jackets and jeans embellished with signature Adidas stripes, alongside looks that take fringed trims off of kitschy cowboy gear, and put it on face masks. The looks as ask (and discover) where urban meets rodeo; and if it is possible to find new ways to light up the stables.</p>



<p>Beyonce collaborated with a layered variety of artists, activists, and sportspeople to convey style in the mini-film — from the breakout star musicians Snoh Aalegra and Monaleo, to skilled roper Emily Diana Alba and many more.</p>

<p>Two of the central figures in the video was celebrated black cowboy and actor, Glynn Turman (an Emmy-Award winner, known for his work on <em>A Different World</em>, and <em>The Wire</em>), and his cowgirl granddaughter, MelJulie Siegel.</p>



<p>“Around 12 years old, I became more interested in learning how to become a real cowgirl among the heavily male-dominated sport,” MelJulie says, adding that “Passing on the legacy of the American Black Cowboy is very important to me….I am blessed to represent a secret part of American history by being a modern-day Black cowgirl.”</p>



<p>Highly skilled roper Emily Diana Alba is also featured in the video.</p>



<p>“For me, learning to rope was like learning to ride a bike. You learned how to do it, used the skill to survive, and more importantly had fun with it.” But her interests go beyond the rope. “I love to ride horses and currently participate in an all-female riding team called the “Escarmuza Charra”, a drill team on horses that rides at full speed inside the arena, and is part of the larger Mexican rodeo event called “La Charrería,” she adds. “My love and passion for this sport is undeniable, as I am able to merge two cultures and represent them both with much pride.”</p>



<p>Joining these cowboys and cowgirls were celebrated musical artists. Monaleo, a 20-year-old rapper (and fellow Texan to Beyonce) is known for her recent songs &#8220;Beating Down Yo Block” and “Girls Outside” was also featured in the video, with IVY PARK noting her “versatility as a rapper, singer, and songwriter,” and her being “a role model and feminist hero”.</p>

<p>Joining her was the Texan musician powerhouse family of Tobe, Fat and Nell whom IVY PARK describes as an “enigma”, a “renaissance woman”, and as a “pioneer of music production”, respectively.</p>



<p>The short film also features the chart-topping and award-winning Iranian-Swedish singer/songwriter Snoh Aalegra, with the brand describing the “LOST YOU” singer as “one of the most exciting and critically acclaimed voices in music today”.  </p>



<p>And looking towards the modelling world, the film also features British/American/Swiss plus-size model and body acceptance activist <a href="https://www.instagram.com/palomija/">Paloma Els</a>e<a href="https://www.instagram.com/palomija/">sser</a> modelling several looks from the fully-inclusive collection.</p>



<p>All of the styles— and personas — showcased by IVY PARK x Adidas may be the latest looks of the iconic line — but their spirit and energy are as timeless as that of the American western look that it honours.</p>

<p>Versatility and functionality are also elements that from the world of accessories have been translated into the world of clothing, in order to create a fil rouge and preserve the identity of Yuzefi. So a series of laces and drawstrings have become the tool to make the garments transformable and to create an aesthetic uniformity without solutions of continuity. Another distinguishing feature is sustainability, which results both in the use of recycled and certified vegan leather, and in the recovery of surplus fabrics, such as linen and wool, which, once again, apply the same approach to garments as the one reserved for accessories.</p>



<p>The suits that YUZEFI presented for the fall-winter 2021 2022 collection are characterized by cropped blazers decorated with long laces that allow you to tie panels to lengthen their silhouette, combined with soft-cut trousers, both in a black version and in sandy shades. The skirts are wallet-shaped, tied at the waist and also worn over the trousers as an overcoat; they are then worn with jackets, always cropped, but with a structure that integrates the rigid cups of a bustier. The &#8220;wrap&#8221; construction is also chosen for the shirts in pastel tones, such as wisteria, and there are proposals with large vegan leather pants. The dresses are mini with a tank top cut and with small knots that stop the straps, or even longer version, again in vegan leather, combined with trousers and then used as a long tunic, for an elegant look monochrome and &#8220;mono-material&#8221;.</p>

<p>Coach have been a long-time supporter of the LGBTQ+ community, and in over 70 years the brand have never failed to celebrate Pride month in style. So, in honour of Pride 2020 Coach have unveiled, for the first time ever, an entire Pride collection. (*round of applause please*) </p>



<p>In previous years, we’ve seen Coach celebrate Pride from strength to strength, by directing short films to the release of unique products to mark the month; however, they have kicked things up a notch this year to launch a brand new twenty-piece collection. </p>



<p>Yes, that is right. The new line houses a range of gender-neutral accessories and attire, all of which are decked with Coach’s iconic signature ‘C’ logo and have been ‘Pride-ified’ in a multi-colour palette. It features everything from a geometric, knitted button-up cardigan, to a Coach embellished bucket hat, to our personal favourite, rainbow sliders. And just to highlight again, everything is gender-inclusive with this collection. </p>

<p>Along with the new launch even comes a special campaign, named “We C You”. It stars actor/comedian Rickey Thompson, singer Kim Petras and Bob the Drag Queen in a promotional video to share the moment when they truly felt seen for the first time. In the video Bob the Drag Queen expressed how she often turned to other Drag artists to feel acceptance and to be welcomed into the community. She said: “I felt seen when I saw Bebe Zahara Benet, who is this amazing African drag queen, and thought to myself “well if she can be seen, I can be seen.” </p>

<p>As expected, Coach didn’t stop at a new campaign and launch. They also announced that they’ve made donations to their longstanding partner the Hetrick-Martin Institute, and new partners, GLSEN and the Albert Kennedy Trust. All of which are organisations supporting the LGBTQ+ community. Carlos Becil, Global Chief Marketing Officer at Coach said in a press release: </p>



<p><strong>“We are proud to continue our long-time support of the LGBTQ+ community with a film series celebrating its courageous and optimistic spirit — this month and every month. The campaign’s message of inclusivity and authentic self-expression is very important to us, and we were honoured to work with creatives from the community to bring it to life.” </strong></p>

<p>It’s been a hot minute since Kylie and Kendall gave us a sneak peek into their upcoming collab with Kylie Cosmetics, and already the entire collection has been revealed!</p>



<p>Just about everyone in the Kardashian clan has collaborated with Kylie in Kylie Cosmetics. Since she launched the brand in 2015, we’ve had an epic collab with momager, Kris, two collections with Khloe and of course with <a href="https://kkwbeauty.com/" target="_blank">KKW beauty</a>. </p>



<p>Well now, we are finally (*emphasis on finally*) getting a ‘Kendall by Kylie Cosmetics’ collab. In perfect Jenner style, these two have not let a global pandemic stop the hustle and have brought us the moment we have all been waiting for. </p>



<p>The iconic duo both took to Instagram this weekend to reveal the launch in a very Jenner-style sultry promotion video and layout of the products. “I’ve been so excited to finally collaborate with my sister. With everything that’s going on, it’s been pushed back a lot so I’m very happy to be finally showing you guys,” said Kylie in an Instagram story. </p>



<p>In terms of the collection, we can really see how the two sisters’ styles have merged together. We’ve got a neutral vibe that Kendall is so well known for, as well as a pop of colour from Kylie&#8217;s end. The best of both really. </p>

<p>The sisters have introduced brand-new products to the Kylie Cosmetics family including a shimmery eye gloss (special request by Miss Kendall Jenner) as well as contour sticks (yes, we are all thinking KKW Beauty rivalry) and a blotting powder. </p>



<p>While we cannot wait to dive into new products, of course, it wouldn’t be Kylie Cosmetics without some classics. The 15-shade shadow palette contains an assortment of shades going from one extreme to the other and names like ‘Here Kenny Kenny’ and ‘Name a More Iconic Duo.’ Very ‘Jenner’, right? </p>



<p>And if we know Kylie, which we do, the collab wouldn’t be complete without some lip products; and we haven’t been let down in that department. The collection features a new Lip Blush Kit named ‘Sister Sister’ which features a liner and semi-matte liquid lipstick. We certainly are not complaining about another Kylie Lip Kit here. </p>

<p>If it couldn’t get better, to support the BTLM movement, the Jenner sisters revealed that a portion of all sales will be donated to organisations that defend the rights of black trans people. </p>



<p>Yes, we have spent many impatient years waiting for this drop. So why didn’t this collab come sooner? Well, Kylie explained that she hadn’t been able to work with her supermodel sis, as Kendall was under a contract with Estee Lauder. Well, move aside Estee, Kylie Cosmetics is coming through. The time has come. </p>



<p>And you haven’t got long to wait! The collection will be launched on the 26th of June on <a href="https://www.kyliecosmetics.com/" target="_blank">Kylie Cosmetics</a>. Time to start clearing some space in your makeup bag. </p>
