It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas: sparkling lights covering every inch of the high street and department store windows adorned with extravagant displays of luxury goods. Every Christmas, alongside these sumptuous window displays, we’re guaranteed to be blessed with several seasonal campaigns from our favourite brands.
We’ve compiled 5 of our favourite festive treats: from the neon fairytales of Prada to the more traditional Christmas colours of Burberry, it’s set to be a very fashionable Holiday Season indeed!
Prada’s 2018 campaign ‘Neon Dream’ was captured by renowned photographer and filmmaker Willy Vanderperre, and features model Amanda Murphy and actress Sarah Paulson. The film has nuances of an indie horror movie that has crashed with a neon-lit wonderland. It’s hauntingly magical.
Are you DKNY? Because they sure do want you to be!
This campaign includes three films: one for womenswear, one for menswear, and one specifically festive. The womens/menswear films feature models stating the different percentages of their personalities, from ‘dog lover’ and ‘go go go’ to ‘walking on the wild side’ and ‘living the dream’.
In the end, it doesn’t matter what percentage of things you are, so long as you’re 100% DKNY.

The Alexander McQueen Autumn/Winter 2018 film is extremely simple, it holds a unique elegance that is completely McQueen. It follows the three models (Shanelle Nyasiase, Rianne Van Rompaey and Vittoria Ceretti) as they walk around San Francisco showcasing seven different dresses, in deep red, black, and candyfloss pink. If a dress is your go-to choice for party season, then this campaign is for you.
The final project of Riccardo Tisci’s first year as Chief Creative Director of Burberry came in the form of a campaign titled ‘Close Your Eyes and Think of Christmas.’ The film has a real British feel to it, featuring exclusively British models and stars, as well as traditionally British scenery. A café, and a dining hall & living room that look as if they belong in a stately home.
Burberry certainly ticked all the boxes of a perfect Christmas: good food and company.
In true Gucci style, the holiday campaign is awash with kaleidoscopic colours and spellbinding cinematography. It’s a silent love story set on New Year’s Eve that includes skateboarding in a room full of balloons, kissing under fireworks and dancing the night away. I know where I want to be this New Year’s Eve!
