In the campaign, the 26-year-old brings her competitive equestrian roots to the forefront, basking in the sun on a gorgeous ranch in Los Angeles. Body Glove is a household name and has been selling swimwear for over 70 years. Founded in 1953 with the phrase ‘fits like a glove’, co-founders Bill and Bob created the first practical wetsuits using neoprene in an attempt to combat the cold California water when surfing. Body Glove now sells wetsuits, swimsuits, clothing, shoes, sunglasses, water sports equipment, and accessories and mainly uses pro surfers and wakeboarders as influencers.

The collaboration involved drawing inspiration from the Body Glove archives and re-engineering the classic Body Glove silhouettes to cater to a wider size range, with items being sold in sizes XS-5XL plus. The pieces range from high-leg one-pieces, swim skirts, biker shorts, zip-up bikini tops, long sleeves, halter neck tops, and classic bikini sets. The styles were also altered to ensure they enhanced curves and gave the signature Kardashian hourglass shape, flattering all body types. Another big change was the colour scheme, with bright fuchsia and shimmering gold being the focus of the collection. With details like black panelling and zippers being maintained, this collection is making us want to run along a beach to the Baywatch theme song!

]]> Keeping Up With the Kardashians may have only been off air for a year, but the Kardashians are already back with a brand new reality show following on from the mammoth 20 seasons of their global hit. Aptly titled The Kardashians, the show follows the lives of the Kardashian-Jenner family with a specific focus on sisters Kim, Kourtney and Khloé, their half-sisters Kendall and Kylie, their mum Kris, and the love interests of current and former Kardashian sisters, namely Travis Barker, Kanye West and Scott Disick.

Airing on Disney+ here in the UK, episode one premiered last week and whilst the show’s concept may seem virtually identical to its predecessor in terms of following the lives of the family, the main difference of The Kardashians is more in how the family share their lives. The filming style, for example, is much grander than KUWTK, with episode one opening up with sweeping drone footage travelling from sister to sister.

That’s not the only difference either, as the show is generally filmed more like a documentary than a reality show, with appropriate fourth wall breaking included (of course). Sometimes the show even feels like it’s mimicking The Office with the sisters looking directly into the camera and serving up some snarky and witty remarks, showing that they’ve lost none of their comic timing in their ten-month break from the air. The iconic confessionals of KUWTK are also back, however, this time around are sometimes filmed as the sisters are on the go in addition to the more traditional seated variants.

As for what the episode itself focused on though, it opened up with a grandiose barbeque at Kim’s house which brings all of the family together. This is a slightly different style of barbeque compared to the ones we’re used to though, featuring monochrome ball-pit slides, buffet trays made of the finest silver and clothes that aren’t typically seen as traditional barbeque wear… if that is even a thing. Make no mistake it is an undeniably Kardashian affair and is topped off with the family conspiring if Kylie’s baby is going to be a boy.

The other major plot point of the episode involves Kim getting ready for her hosting appearance on Saturday Night Live, sorting through bodysuits to decide which one she’s going to wear and deciding how she’s going to wear her hair on the night. There’s also some cheeky foreshadowing of her current partner Pete Davidson as Kim mentions how he helped calm her nerves about the hosting gig whilst they were at the Met Gala. Sweet stuff.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a show about the Kardashians if there wasn’t plenty of info about all the girls’ relationships and how they are getting on. Kourtney and Travis Barker are happily loved up and enjoying life in the early stages of their relationship, Kim and Kanye are in a, seemingly, good place but as we’ve seen with real-time events regarding their relationship over the past few months that isn’t going to last and it’s unclear if Kanye is going to appear on screen at all this time around, meanwhile Khloé and Tristan are co-parenting and attending Tristan’s therapy sessions which lead to the pair reminiscing on when Tristan cheated on Khloé when she was pregnant. A little awkward.

The episode crescendos with Kim on the phone with her lawyer as he explains that there’s a threat of additional sex tape footage of Kim from 20 years ago being leaked, not too dissimilar to how the very first episode of KUWTK ended all those years ago. The main difference this time around though is in Kim’s response to the matter, refusing to place any blame on herself and not being made to feel scandalous about the ordeal. The maturity and candidness in her response highlight just how much Kim has grown over the years since the original sex tape leak and showcase her taking control of her narrative rather than having a man try to control it instead. 

This lawsuit is bound to be one of the major plot points of the show over the coming episodes and with Kim having more power and status compared to all those years ago, as well as four children, things look set to play out very differently. We’ll just have to tune into the next episode to find out how!

Khloe Kardashian has announced the expansion of her denim line, Good American’s, ‘Always Fits’ collection, dropping tomorrow. Labelled by the brand, as ‘the most inclusive jeans ever’, the jeans adapt to fluctuating bodies which guarantee a perfect fit every time. Previously, the ‘Always Fits’ jeans provided a tighter silhouette in a few varieties of colour – now the collection includes straight to bootleg cuts, along with an assortment of new denim washes.

The brand, Good American, was co-founded by reality-star Khloe Kardashian and fashion mogul, Emma Grede (who is also behind Kim Kardashian’s Skims brand). The pair have created a body-positive, inclusive fashion brand that focuses on activewear, swimwear and denim. Khloe previously was mocked as being the bigger sister in her family and has also been on a personal fitness journey of fluctuating sizes – founding the brand in 2016, she wanted to offer a body-positive branding with an inclusive size range that was not already available on the market.

Weight fluctuating is completely normal and happens to everybody, so the idea of jeans that adapt to bouts of bloating or weight gain over lockdown sounds ideal. Rather than constantly be purchasing new pairs, cuts, and washes of denim to keep up with varying personal body shapes and sizes, purchasing one pair which stretches or shrinks to include 4 different sizes may be the long-term answer. Available in sizes 00-32, the ‘Always Fits’ denim range has a size, cut, and wash colour for everyone!

Rihanna

Spotted out in LA, Rihanna wears a cut out mini skirt by Maximilian paired with the Telfar Velour varsity jacket, strappy heels and a crochet top. With this look, Rihanna once again is showing her support for both Black deisgners and up and coming labels. Velour is definitely on the radar this season, with a nod to the 2000’s tracksuit resurgence.

Azzelle

In an all black, monochrome ‘fit – Azzelle wears a mesh tee paired with a corset and pleated mini skirt. Take notes for a go-to look this Spring which ticks several trends off the list. Let’s talk accessories, nothing makes the look practical like a leather satchel and a sun hat, two silhouettes which we believe should make it back into our wardrobes.

Lizzo wears double denim in a custom co-ord hand painted by artist Patrick Church. The groovy patterns add an extra detail to the already chic pleated skirt and bustier – two silhouettes which are very much on trend for SS21. In new Louis Vuitton, with the monochrome monogram blazer paired with a leather mini skirt – Duckie Thot is giving us major inspiration for a smart and sophisticated boss girl look this Spring. Nicki took to Instagram in the new Fendi Summer Vertigo collection, featuring their timeless Zucca print which is making a comeback. Let us collectively rejoice in the fact the hairdresser’s doors are open once more, ready to fix our overgrown roots and lockdown split ends. We could all use a nice pamper after the uncertainty of 2020 and what better way to treat ourselves than with a new look. Byrdie reported in 2017 that Pinterest searches for the term ‘Curtain Bangs’ were up by a staggering 600% and it seems this year has reignited our love for the trend. And it’s not just Pinterest, a quick scroll through Instagram or TikTok will confirm that this season we have fallen head over heels for the curtain bang.

For those who haven’t been obsessing over this new cut, let us explain: the curtain bang features a middle parting and two shorter framing pieces either side of the face. Far easier to maintain than a full fringe and a lot more versatile too; the curtain bang is a perfect match for anyone looking to spice up their look without making a huge commitment to a brand-new style.

But what is so special about the curtain bang? (Or, the Bardot fringe if we are getting technical) Well, for a start they are effortless and require very little styling. The best bit about the bangs is that they are supposed to look a little shaggy; meaning that even on hair wash day they will be looking fashion-forward.

Spontaneously cutting a fridge has garnered a peculiar reputation overtime and the stereotype suggests they are only suitable for those experiencing a mid-life crisis or a bad breakup. This reputation is finally changing, and it could in part be due to the goddess of the full fringe herself, Daisy Edgar-Jones who recently graced our screens in the critically acclaimed BBC Drama Normal People.
