]]> SS21 is all about colour and pattern play and it seems there are no rules with how you want to style them. From gingham, monogram brand logos, and tie dye, to co-ordinating reds, summery yellows, and electric blues – anything goes this summer. We’ve picked out some of our favourite looks from Instagram this week where influencers and celebrities show us how to put the trends together.

Dua Lipa

Dua Lipa shows us how to dress Cow Girl chic with this gingham jacket, chunky belt and Western knee-high boots moment. She kept it timeless with a pair of distressed denim shorts to accompany the red coordination and gingham pattern play. Our style tip from this look is that a great way to integrate a trend is by adding something classic.

Regina Anikiy

In a monogram look, Regina wears a pair of Louis Vuitton logo print joggers paired with a self-made top inspired by the designs of brand Rui Official. So here the pattern play trend is paired effortlessly with a simple cut-out top, making the bottoms stand out whilst still looking trendy. We’d also like to mention the sliders because they’re still hot in SS21, adding comfort and style to any look.

Wuz Good

When it comes to colour coordination look no further than this ensemble by Wuz Good – pastel yellow and pink is definitely one of the most noteworthy combinations of the season. This yellow blazer from Jaded Man brings out the yellow tones in the tote and patterns in the Burberry monogram leggings. Equally, the pink Rick Owens boots match effortlessly with the pink corset and sunglasses whilst also complimenting her tote and leggings. This is how to make your entire outfit match perfectly.

Jordyn Woods

In all new Miaou, Jordyn Woods wears the graphic print pattern trend with the brand’s new ‘dollar’ themed collection. Combining pattern play with the mesh movement, the Billie dress speaks for itself in this look – making a statement all by itself. This makes it easy to gather the next style tip which is that there’s no need to accessories majorly if you have the right dress. We’ve added a few pieces which would complete the outfit – you’re good to go.

Edie Liberty Rose

Another vibrant moment from Edie Liberty Rose, she wears the Poster Girl Carrie dress which has the most amazing cut out details and lace embellishments. Paired with a beige Givenchy side bag and heels. This piece comes in lots of colours and is the perfect stand out dress for a colourful look this Summer. This look doesn’t miss, with the bag and footwear co-ordinating perfectly.

Emili Sindlev

Did someone say bright colours? Because Emili definitely didn’t miss the memo. She wears a tie-dye t-shirt as the base, with orange, red, and yellow tones that bring the entirety of the ‘fit together. Neon orange trousers, yellow block sandals and a red Louis Vuitton bag. Mix and match all the colours this season for a stand-out look.

Stassie

Stassie shows us how to coordinate our accessories with our look this week. She wears a green cut-out dress paired with coloured bangles – so simple but effective. This season it’s clear that when it comes to jewellery it’s got to be bold and chunky. This simple khaki colour also gives off very summery vibes.

Linmick

Now let’s talk about this red, yellow and green combination. Starting from the headwear accessories, with a red scarf co-ordinating with the mesh crop and chunky resin ring. The look is a whole pop of colour with the added yellow bikini top and velour jogger shorts. Nothing clashes if you do it right, the brighter the better.

Jodie Woods

Jodie opted for an electric blue look, with the Alex Dress by With Jean – paired with a freshwater pearl necklace with blue crystal embellishment and a co-ordinating blue resin ring. Blue is another timeless colour that always comes back around in summer, if you’re looking for a shade to base your outfit around then look no further.

Father Kels

Father Kels wears the Kate Moss dress by Andre Emery. This piece combines shades of green, blue, red and yellow to create a unique abstract pattern. She paired the look with simple gold-toned accessories including earrings and a bangle. Gold accessories never go out of style and they’re the perfect compliment to your pattern play.

We’ve spotted celebs in outfits hot off the runway, making us feel like we’re on the virtual front row – with an exclusive view of the glam accessories, flamboyant colours and flattering silhouettes. Instagram has also given us all the spring inspiration we need, we’ve spotted influencers in heat wave-ready attire; bright, bold and boujee. Time to start planning our going-out looks!

Dua Lipa

Dua looks like a tutti frutti cutie in her full Marshall Columbia outfit, with neon shades of pink, green, yellow and blue. Key trend alert: Argyle. Not only are the colours eye-catching but the check patterns tie it all together to give us major clueless vibes – and we’re here for it. Mwah. The message we’re taking from this is that bright colours are in.

Amy Hallimond

Badass chic is the energy this look is channelling. Amy has gone full monochrome in a zebra print co-ord, which reminds us that animal print is all the rave this season. But let’s just take a moment for the boots, which are a dream. Platform is back. You heard it here first. Style tip: pair with flares to look like a modern 70s godess.

Cinzia Zullo

Cinzia looks cool casual in her boyfriend jeans which she has paired with a scoop neck YSL tank and a satin head scarf. An accessory which can make any outfit look effortlessly stylish. Want to look like a y2k queen this summer? Then take some tips from this look.

Aime Pradis

The colour coordination is perfect. Aime is giving us real-life ruby vibes in her cherry red look, a colour which you can look gorgeous in for every season. Key trend alert: Rimless Sunnies – accessories are everything and with the y2k takeover happening at the moment these rimless, wraparound sunglasses seem to be back. Let’s be honest, they complete every outfit.

Miss Woods is really serving in her Fayth Feels Dress – an asymmetric masterpiece, Jordan is proving in the most flawless way possible that sporty glam is in style this season. Figure flattering stretchy silhouettes, big reflective sunnies – all tied together with lace-up heeled sandals. Wherever we’re allowed to go this summer, this outfit is guaranteed to make you feel high-end.

Chloe Davie

We can’t get enough of these Nasty Gal chain detail jeans. A key trend this season: cut-out pieces. Like we saw last week with cut-out tops and dresses, this pair of jeans fit right in. Make them your staple piece and the rest of the look falls together.

Joy Crookes

Brown and boujee. Embracing more neutral tones, no one can do it like Joy Crookes, and street style sarees are now our new favourite thing. Style tip: accessories can elevate a look and this season a mini handbag is essential.

Jorja Smith

New number, who dis? More from the cut outs trend and Jorja Smith is killing it. A whole new feed and she’s come back strong wearing a stunning all white bodysuit. White is definitely a colour to wear this season. We’ve added some accessories for you to shop to complete the look. 

Kim Kardashian

Hot off the runway, Kim K is dripping in new Givenchy – showing off her curves in an olive-green figure hugging body-con embellished with crystals, matched with a diamanté fringed bag. This season is all about being extra and loving yourself, steal the look and expect many compliments on your daily walk, the only form of social interaction at the moment.

Kristen Noel Crawley

Glam seems to be a key message from the runways – Kristen looks dream-like in her MIU MIU co-ord, embellished with bright pink and orange sequins. Notice the backless and low-rise silhouettes, two trends you NEED to get your hands on this season.
