The Fenty founder will return to the music scene performing at the Superbowl halftime show on 12^th February – her first show in seven years. UK fans will be able to watch the huge cultural event on either ITV1 or Sky Sports where it will be broadcast live at 1:30 am on Monday the 13^th February.

After her return to the stage that it’s rumoured she’ll announce a tour starting this year to promote her next album. Although we’re not sure when Rihanna will drop the dates, a music insider has told the Sun, “She has her North American dates ready to announce for 2023 after the Super Bowl and it will be a matter of time before European dates are announced for 2024.” Her last tour for 2016’s Anti had over 71 dates so we are hoping it’s just as expansive this time. According to the insider, “Her plan is to set up mini residencies in major cities rather than visit multiple places”.

Diehard fans of the singer will be thrilled to hear that the tour will include both new songs and old favourites. An insider told The Sun, “She’s been working overtime on every element of the show. The list of songs that made the cut are pretty comprehensive and touch on every era of Rihanna including the new one she’s about to embark on.”

Rihanna’s new album has been in the works for some time now. Although the multifaceted queen put her music career on hold to focus on her businesses Fenty Beauty and Savage x Fenty and her new motherhood it seems like the album was coming together behind the scenes. Back in 2019, she told Vogue that the album would be reggae-inspired whilst last year at the Savage x Fenty show she told us its sound would be unexpected.

Also on the cards is the release of the much-anticipated Rihanna documentary that has over 1,000 hours of footage! The project has been six and a half years in the making and has documented the rise of her billion-dollar empire Fenty to her experiences of new motherhood. With it being recently sold to Amazon hopefully we’ll be able to feast our eyes on it soon.

Director of the project Peter Berg, responsible for the popular sports drama Friday Night Lights said, “I’ve loved it. It’s such an enriching experience, I don’t really care how long it takes.” Those who wish to get a deeper look into the megastar’s life will also be elated to hear that Berg called it “more a character study than a music film”

Although no official public announcement has been made about an upcoming launch, according to the legal documents filed on March 3, the upcoming hair-care line will deliver a variety of products including; hair styling tools, hair prep, bleach, colouring sets, and even some hair glitter. 

We may not know when this line will be launched but we are certain that we will be supporting it. Rihanna’s projects and business endeavours have always demonstrated a step further, a change from outdated and traditionally centered markets. She has provided us with makeup for every skin tone, and sexy lingerie for every body type and shape, so we cannot wait to see what she has in store for us and our haircare

Savage x Fenty has successfully made a name for itself in the industry as one of the most diverse and representative brands. Thankfully, Rihanna seems intent on growing that reputation even further as the newest Savage x Fenty line drops. 

As we flipped our calendars over to March, Rihanna put a spring in our step by dropping the latest Savage x Fenty Spring collection for March 2021. The newest collection is heavily ‘60s inspired, with cute floral prints and swinging silhouettes. 

Inclusivity is always at the forefront of every drop with Savage x Fenty. The brand ranges from sizes 32A TO 42DD and XS to 3X, but it’s the stunning models that have grabbed our attention. In a promotional film, some whimsical beauties flaunted their stuff in some pretty and delicate lingerie, and it might be our favourite drop yet. 

Rihanna’s brand has always had a beautiful casting of models for her collections and has constantly raised the standards in the fashion industry with representative casting. Last week, Tamera McLaughlin (@ayethatsmera) announced via Instagram that she was ‘The first Little Person Ambassador’ for Savage x Fenty (and her pics were stunning). Rihanna’s models have included those who are pregnant, breast cancer survivors, and along with a good representation of all different kinds of bodies (because each one is different and worth celebrating), the Savage x Fenty lines have never been short of women, non-binary and male models to show off the stellar collections.

Fortunately for all of us, Rihanna’s love of robes has manifested itself with the Spring collection, which is a huge win for us, because what’s a better lounging around at home ‘fit than a Savage x Fenty floral robe? 

The ‘Free Spirit Floral’ collection has all the colourways we need for spring, with bright hues and pastels. The shoot looks like something straight out of a woodland spring fantasy, with beautiful models stretched against a whimsical backdrop with some pretty ‘60s makeup to boot. 

It’s hard to choose highlights, as the whole collection is jaw-dropping, but the ‘floral embroidered night slip’ and the ‘freshly picked mesh robe’ deserve an honourable mention. Unfortunately, the get-up Rihanna rocked in the promotional shoot has already sold out (are we surprised?) but the rest of the collection is still available to purchase online. Best of all though, the Savage x Fenty website allows you to view the items on different models, to get a sense of what the lingerie looks like on all body types. 

Truthfully, there’s nothing quite like the latest Savage x Fenty drop and its swinging ‘60s film debut to get us excited for the coming Spring. We’re grateful that Savage x Fenty is once again setting the standards within the industry to include everybody in their spring collection, because we all deserve to lounge in the sun in some pretty floral lingerie.

If you don’t know who Amina Muaddi is, then chances are you do know her shoes. It is nearly impossible to scroll through Instagram or Pinterest at the moment without coming across one of her signature hourglass shaped heel, or perhaps a bejewelled transparent pump.

All over social media right now the likes of Rihanna, Dua Lipa, Irina Shayk are wearing shoe designer Amina Muaddi’s innovative creations. Her heels even made it to Kris Kardashian’s annual Christmas Eve party.

We first became aware of the Paris-based footwear designer in 2019 when Muaddi launched her namesake solo brand which soon caught the attention of the fashion world. In 2020, word of her brand rapidly spread as Muaddi’s neon jewelled designs and attention-grabbing boots became Hollywood’s most coveted accessory.

Exclusively released and much anticipated, Muaddi managed to do the unthinkable and sell out a collection of heels during a pandemic. No one had anywhere to wear them and yet they still sold out everywhere – quite an accolade for any designer.

Raised between Jordan, Romania and Italy, Muaddi always had an obsession with shoes. Speaking to Vogue, Muaddi explained why designing footwear is her real passion: “The right shoes can make you feel cooler, sexier, edgier, or more feminine, depending on the style that you’re wearing. They have the power to change your mood and to alter, not your personality, but your persona at that moment. I think they’re the most powerful items in fashion”

Coveted by anyone on Instagram who can get their hands on Muaddi’s elusive footwear, the revolutionary tapered heel is what the designer has become best known for. Combining the comfort of a wide base and the sexy feminine elegance of a stiletto, Muaddi’s heels are not only a statement talking point but also a practical heel which can be worn all day.

The popularity of Amina’s shoes on Instagram has, however, been no mere accident. The designer uses social media as a place to have fun – but primarily as a platform for her business. Interacting with customers and getting their feedback, Muaddi has gone on to create an air of exclusivity both through her social media imagery and controlled releases of stock. This has fed the media frenzy when it comes to her designs – they are hard to get hold of which has only made them more sought after.

Muaddi’s personal style is also something which has attracted the attention of her 722k followers, including the likes of Rihanna. Favouring contrasting pieces and combining elegance with edginess, Muaddi’s style epitomizes the modern woman, something she shares with the singer turned fashion mogul. Rihanna’s personal stylist is friends with Muaddi, so she was one of the first to wear her designs. This relationship led to a collaboration between Amina Muaddi and Fenty in 2020 which she described as a ‘marriage of their personal tastes’.

The first collaboration Muaddi launched with her own brand was with none other than the rapper A$AP Rocky. Featuring bedazzled chain accents, the pair came together to create four designs inspired by their similar aesthetic.

In October 2020, Amina brought out a collection of mini bags as her first venture outside of shoes. Dubbed the ‘Amini’s’ the satin and bejewelled handle bags have marked a diversification of Amina Muaddi’s brand journey, and we are excited to see what comes next for the inventive designer in 2021.

Rihanna is here with, yet another, hair change and all eyes are on her… mullet! The mullet has been seen to make its comeback for a while now, but it’s not a trend until Rihanna rocks it, let’s be honest! Miley Cyrus and Billie Eilish are also fans of the 80s-inspired hairstyle, as they’ve both adopted this look throughout the year.

The singer, makeup mogul, and designer shared her new haircut with the world in a teaser posted on Instagram amid her second Savage X Fenty show, scheduled to premiere this Friday on Amazon Prime. She is no stranger to this look, as she has experimented with the same style during the 2013 New York Fashion Week. Back then, a mullet was mostly reminding of awkward family photo calls and 80s rock bands, but it seems like it has made its comeback since last season.

Pictured above, are some of the most gorgeous girls rocking a mullet, being modern and owning this look to the fullest. There are many ways to style a mullet and, as we can see in the pictures, many different women can look fabulous in it. Miley Cyrus’ mullet came to support her rock-themed album and, if I’m being honest, she did not disappoint at all. This Miley Cyrus era is my favourite so far, hands down!

Maisie Williams just needed a change and decided to go for this style during Milan Fashion Week. It really adds a modern, edgy twist to the actor’s look. Finally, Irina Shayk; because mums can rock mullets too! We know she would look gorgeous even with no hair at all, but a mullet was something I would never expect to see from her. Long story short, she looks gorgeous once again and I love the mullet on brown hair with a no-makeup makeup look.

Rihanna has managed to have everyone expecting her second lingerie show for Savage X Fenty like crazy by announcing the star-packed cast. Expect jaw-dropping performances by Travis Scott, Miguel, Ella Mai, Bad Bunny, Mustard, Roddy Ricch, and Rosalía.

The queue of regular fashion models to appear on the show include Bella Hadid, Cara Delevingne, Christian Combs, Normani, and Big Sean. Rihanna announced the launch for her new skincare line, Fenty Skin, in a promo video featuring bad gal Riri herself, as well as A$AP Rocky and Lil Nas X, showing off their natural beauty and flawless, radiant skin. The short clip shows little glimpses of the pastel Fenty Beauty colour palette, which we have all grown to adore, and shows what looks like a foaming cleanser and moisturizer being used by the singer.

While little has been released, rumors of a skincare line began in 2019 when a trademark was filed for Fenty Skin with the United States Trademark and Patent Office. We may know little about the products being launched, but with what we can gather from the trademark, the line will likely be targeted at ‘medicated and non-medicated skincare, soap, body care and personal care products.’

For now, the Grammy winner has kept us very much in the dark regarding what products will be released, however certain product names including Flash Nap and Hydra Vizor have been included in the trademark. It’s no lie to say that we are very anticipated to see what’s to come from the skincare line, but we do know that Fenty Skin is for everyone. Yep, that’s right, Fenty Skin is gender-neutral and for all skin types. “No matter who you are, you deserve to have great skin!”, says Rihanna, and we couldn’t agree more.
