This season’s colour mood is already taking shape — and to decode it, we went straight to the source. Voir Magazine visited Hannah Harrison at The Haye Studio, her beautifully curated London space known for its understated luxury and fashion-insider following.
Harrison, who counts Georgia Jagger, Charli XCX and Stella Maxwell among her clientele, has become one of London’s most in-demand colourists thanks to her seamless blends, tonal expertise and her signature “expensive but effortless” finish.
Fresh from the chair, we sat down with Harrison inside The Haye Studio to break down the tones, textures and techniques defining Spring/Summer 2026.
Q&A With Hannah Harrison
What hair colour trends do you predict for Spring/Summer 2026?
“I think we’ll see a lot of soft, sun-kissed balayage looks for Spring/Summer 2026 — rich brunettes melting into warm caramels, and dark blondes brightened with honey tones. It’s all about creating that effortless, summery glow that feels natural yet elevated.”
Are clients leaning more toward natural, effortless tones or something bolder and more expressive?
“I would say there’s a real moment for natural colour right now. It’s all about enhancing your existing base and maintaining glossy, healthy hair.”
Creative Direction & Inspiration
What’s inspiring you creatively right now — fashion, film, music, or social media?
“Right now I’m doing a lot of Pinterest mood boards — it’s great for anyone deep diving into hair references. I’d say fashion is always something I’ve kept my eye on; it helps me stay creative, and my clients always want to know about the upcoming trends.”
The Vibe of 2026
How would you describe the overall energy — soft and lived-in, or high-gloss and statement-making?
“I think right now there’s a mixture of both. It really depends on what aligns with your look.”
Techniques & Application
Are you experimenting with any new colouring techniques going into 2026?
“I’m really loving freehand clay painting at the moment. I’ve been experimenting with it a lot — it creates a beautifully seamless grow-out and allows for a soft blend of different tones throughout the hair.”
Are there certain haircuts or textures that pair especially well with next season’s colour trends?
“I’d say the classic textured bob is still really having its moment paired with sun-kissed highlights — it’s effortless chic in every way.”
Personalisation & Hair Health
How important is hair health when creating these SS26 looks — and what treatments do you recommend?
“Hair health has really been my clients’ number one priority this past year. At the studio we’ve been doing a lot of hair Botox — it’s an intense smoothing treatment that’s great for shine and moisture.”
Are clients asking for cleaner, more sustainable or less-damaging colour options?
“Definitely. Clients are very conscious about hair health these days, and with the current trends moving toward a natural look, the two go hand in hand.”
Celeb & Cultural Influence
Which celebrities or red-carpet hair moments are inspiring your clients right now?
“I’m getting a few Margot Robbie references in the studio lately. I think her hair always looks great.”
