The Best Beauty Looks to Come Out Of The 2021 Billboard Music Awards

This year’s Billboard Music Awards brought the heat. We were obsessed with the bold bright colours and playful shapes sported by trendsetting celebrities as they strutted down the red carpet, but also the more soft Hollywood glam to complement the make-you-stare outfits. Check out the roundup of our favourite looks and the products used to achieve them below.

Doja Cat

Wow, this look is HUGE. We love the graphic eyeliner with a pop of turquoise to match her statement necklace, the sci-fie-esque eyebrows and the baby hairs curled to perfection just hit the spot. The eyeliner is the Suva Beauty Hydraliner and was applied by makeup artist Ernesto Casillas. Doja Cat never fails to make a statement anywhere she goes.

Gabrielle Union

Singer Gabrielle Union kept her look beautifully timeless. Her makeup is natural and flawless and her scraped back updo definitely ties the look together. Her makeup artist Fiona Stiles used all Giorgio Armani Beauty products to create this masterpiece including Eyes to Kill Mascara, Smooth Silk Eye Pencil and the Armani Luminous Silk Foundation.

SZA

You can’t go wrong with a classic black cat eye, especially when you’re SZA. Her longtime glam squad makeup artist, Deanna Paley said ‘SZA’s dress was striking and I wanted to bring out her features and keep it classic.’ She used all Charlotte Tilbury products (the queen of all classic makeup) to create this subtle look. If you, like us, want to recreate the look somewhere down the line, get the Eyes to Mesmerize Cream Shadow pot ‘Star Gold,’ the Airbrush Flawless Foundation and the classic Pillow Talk lip liner.

Saweetie

Gorgeous from top to toe, Saweetie stunned in a bright orange dress and smoldering cat-eye. Makeup artist Deanna Paley (who also made up SZA that night) told E! News she used the new Pat McGrath Divine Blush Collection for the rosy glow in shade ‘Desert Orchid’ and ‘Nymphette.’

Kehlani

Another soft makeup look to go with a fierce outfit. Her waist-length classic waves are courtesy of celebrity hairstylist Kahh Spence – who used Hot Tools Series Detachable Volumizer to give the hair body and shine.
