In an era dominated by singles, algorithms and accelerated consumption, the idea of the album as a
complete artistic object has quietly returned. Not as nostalgia, but as intention. For a growing group
of artists, an album is no longer just a collection of songs; it is a fully realised world: visual,
emotional and conceptual. These artists do not release music. They stage bodies of work.
At the centre of this shift is Bad Bunny, whose albums function like immersive environments rather
than chart strategies. From the beach-washed melancholy of Un Verano Sin Ti to the introspective
visual language of Debí Tirar Más Fotos, his releases arrive with a clear aesthetic grammar:
colours, silhouettes, moods and references that live far beyond the music itself. The album becomes
something you enter – not just something you listen to.


This approach is not new, but it has become rarer and therefore more powerful. Beyoncé has long
treated albums as conceptual events, collapsing the boundaries between music, film and fashion.
Her projects are designed as unified statements, where visuals are not promotional tools but
narrative extensions. Every frame, costume and movement carries meaning. The album behaves like
a curated exhibition, meticulously controlled yet emotionally expansive.

Similarly, Frank Ocean has built a career around restraint and coherence. His albums are sparse,
slow and visually minimal, yet deeply intentional. Imagery, typography and sound exist in quiet
dialogue, demanding attention rather than demanding clicks. In a culture of excess, his work
reminds us that absence can be as expressive as abundance.


For Billie Eilish, the album has become a vehicle for visual transformation. Each era introduces a
distinct palette and silhouette that mirrors the emotional register of the music. Colour, clothing and
composition are never incidental. They evolve alongside her sound, creating a visual continuity that
allows audiences to recognise not just a song, but a phase of self-expression.
Tyler, The Creator approaches albums as character studies. His releases arrive with alter egos,
uniforms and carefully constructed worlds that feel closer to cinema than marketing. Fashion, set
design and narrative are integrated into the project from the outset. The album is not just heard – it is
performed, worn and inhabited.


Few artists have explored the album as art object as consistently as Lady Gaga. Her work has
always existed at the intersection of music, fashion and performance, with each release establishing
a visual mythology of its own. Costumes are not styling choices; they are part of the language. The
album becomes a stage where identity, spectacle and concept collide.


Rosalía brings a different kind of precision to this practice. Her albums fuse tradition and
experimentation, drawing from flamenco, pop and avant-garde imagery to build worlds that feel
both contemporary and deeply referential. Visuals are symbolic rather than decorative, rooted in
gesture, movement and material culture.

Finally, Kendrick Lamar treats the album as a philosophical structure. His projects unfold like
essays – layered, intentional and visually restrained. Imagery, staging and performance reinforce the
intellectual architecture of the music. Nothing exists in isolation. Everything contributes to
meaning. What unites these artists is not genre or popularity, but authorship. They resist fragmentation. They insist on cohesion. In doing so, they reclaim the album as a serious artistic form, one that rewards patience, attention and immersion.In a cultural landscape driven by immediacy, the album as artwork feels almost radical. It asks listeners to slow down, to look as much as they listen, and to engage with music not as content, but as creation.

]]> The 2023 Latin Grammys was a star-studded affair held in Seville, Spain last night on the 16th of November. It is one of the most prestigious events in the Latin music industry that brings Latin music to the forefront and shines light on their artists. For the first time in its 24-year history, the awards were held in Europe as compared to the previous years’ editions which were held in Las Vegas. The nominees included the likes of Rosalia, Shakira, Karol G, Nicki Nicole, and Rauw Alejandro— all of whom make our best-dressed list for the evening. Here are a few looks which grabbed our attention.

The singer opted to receive the Grammy for ‘Album of the Year’ in this Balmain creation. The colour of her hair complimented the sequined baby-doll dress. She let the signature structure of a Balmain dress be at the center of the look, completing the outfit with nude heels.

We just know that this jacket is so comfy! The best part about an oversized jacket is that you can fit it over a hoodie or a dress, and it works for any situation. It is perfect for spring when you don’t want to be too hot but also don’t want to freeze because you can just throw it over a simple outfit and walk out the door. This coat is completely timeless and versatile; it looks great with the boots is just the right length, and would be perfect with a crossbody bag or mini clutch.

The Hot Pink PU Jacket

This pink coat is giving Barbie!!!! Everything about this coat is amazing. We love the eyelet detail on the sleeves and that they could be tightened to create a balloon effect. The black buttons contrast with the pink and add some extra detail. The coat looks great with this neutral outfit and completely brings it to life, and we’d love to see it mixed with other bright colours for spring.

The Black Silk Coat

This silk coat is the definition of cool girl. The padded shoulders create a bold silhouette, and the wrinkled sleeves add an effortless vibe. The slit in the back creates movement, and we love how this has been styled. The black silk shorts go perfectly and the blouse underneath adds texture and could be easily adapted for spring— we’re thinking a pastel ruffle dress, or a floral pattern to contrast with the black bold coat. We also must take a moment of appreciation for the boots— flawless.

Off The Shoulder

This look once again proves that having your jacket off your shoulders makes you instantly look like a celebrity. This long leather coat complements the outfit without taking anything away from the dress, whilst providing some 90s nostalgia. A jacket like this is such a spring staple because it really can make or break an outfit and bring it from simple to edgy, or from day to night.

The 70’s Suede Jacket

This jacket is everything!! Suede is so stylish and reminiscent of the 70s and hippie style. The panelling on this jacket adds structure, and the silk inside brings another dimension to any look. This jacket can be worn in so many ways and would match with any neutral outfit to bring it to a street-style level. The colour also complements so many other colours, helping tie an outfit together and drawing attention to accessories like leather belts, shoes, or bags.

Hourglass

This cropped leather jacket is so chic! It really creates an hourglass figure, especially when buttoned up, since it is cropped just at the right length. This jacket would be great to show off a detailed belt, or worn with low-rise pants. It is a great transition piece for spring because it isn’t too long that it overshadows the whole outfit, and it can be paired with warm trousers or boots for colder temperatures.

Padded

This padded cropped jacket is great for spring because it is lightweight but warm. The colour is also bright, making a change from the darker shades often seen in winter jackets. The quilted look is very Scandinavian and also traditional for English hunting jackets. It is versatile and could be worn for a walk outside or to go get groceries, or dressed up with a silk dress or mini skirt and boots.

Biker Chic

This outfit is giving huge Berlin energy. The jacket is a cool twist on a simple leather bomber, with the contrast stitching and long zipper straps adding a high-fashion feel. The black and white outfit is super edgy, and the leather boots tie the whole look together. Wearing the skirt low-rise also looks great with the cropped jacket and contrasts the boxy fit.

]]> Are those wedding bells? The ultimate power couple Rosalía and Rauw drop three new tracks on their latest RR EP as well as the news of their engagement! Their EP as well as a music video for one of the three tracks ‘BESO’ (confirming Rosalía had received a ring from her partner) was released on the 24th March.

Taking us behind the scenes of their travels through France, Spain, Japan, Puerto Rico, Britain, the Dominican Republic, and America, the PDA-packed video shows the lovey dovey private life of the singers. Warning to all those unlucky in love: all the shaky shots of the happy couple in hotel rooms, smiling on beach trips, strolling through city night-life, and kissing during concerts may make you cry “when is it my turn?!”. The music video for ‘BESO’ currently has over 14M views and is trending at number ten on YouTube.

RR is much sweeter than Rosalía’s last release in January ‘LLYLM’ (Lie Like You Love Me), which detailed a toxic love affair. Throughout the songs on the EP, the duo celebrate their relationship and present themselves as a united front with romantic lyrics about being destined to be together and an inseparable love that survives across distance.

The first track ‘BESO’ is an immediate classic with its thumping regaetón beat. Detailing both the pain of separation when the singers tour and the euphoria of being reunited, it’s a passionate song in which their love triumphs above all else. Rosalía and Rauw’s vocals slide together as they sing together, “Lo mejor que tengo/Es el amor que me das/Huele a tabaco y melon/Y a domingo en la ciudad” (“The best thing I’ve got/Is the love you give to me/It smells of tobacco and melon/And a Sunday in the city”). On ‘VAMPIROS’ the couple hit the streets for a nighttime prowl and brag about their immortality and “sharp metal fangs”. As the track’s title suggests, ‘VAMPIROS’ has a darker sultrier sound with a killer rap from Rosalía. The softest of the three tracks is ‘PROMESA’ with the couple taking it in turns to utter sweet nothings to each other over a slow treacly beat.

“For us it’s always love first and everything else later, but we skipped that this time so we could finish RR and share it with the world,” Rosalía revealed in a press release. “After more than three years these three songs are here and each one of them belongs to a different stage of love”.

“We always knew we wanted to do music together,” Alejandro added. “However, with our relationship being the focus, we had to find the right time. A long time has passed by now and finding a way to fit all my feelings for her in three songs has been nearly impossible. This means I will be spending my days writing and writing many more songs about and with her. We’re thrilled with this project. RR forever!”

Rosalía and Rauw Alejandro confirmed their relationship back in September 2021 but the two have been an item since late 2019. Rosalía helped produce and write some of Rauw’s first album Afrodisíaco (2020) and since then have worked together on Rosalía’s Motomami single ‘Chicken Teriyaki’.

Now branded the “King of Modern Reggaeton”, Puerto Rican singer-songwriter Rauw Alejandro started with the dream of being a footballer. He began publishing songs on Soundcloud in 2014 to lighten his mood after being forced to quit because of an injury and by 2017 he had signed a music deal with Duars Entertainment. His first single as a lead artist, ‘Toda’ peaked at the 29th spot on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs charts in November 2018 with the remix receiving over 1 billion views on YouTube. He has now won two Latin Grammy Awards, received twelve nominations, is headlining a world tour in support of his third studio album Saturno (2022) that debuted at number 25 on the US Billboard 200, and is one half of the cutest celebrity romance around.

Rosalía making her way through a huge festival circuit this year performing at Festival Ceremonia in Mexico, Coachella in California, Primavera in Spain and Madrid, Rock Werchter in Belgium, and Lollapalooza in France to name a few. On the 26th March, the Spanish star played Autódromo de Interlagos in São Paulo, Brazil to hundreds of thousands of fans.

Lively Geminis start your night out right with a playful house album with energy that matches your love of fun and sass. For those not in the know Deee-lite were a popular New York trio in the early to mid-90s best known for their hit song ‘Groove is in the Heart’. The supremely cool Miss Lady Miss Kier fronted Deee-lite influencing generations to come with her outlandish outfits, soulful sound, and activism. This larger-than-life group fused their colourful psychedelic 60s style with acid house, dance pop, and a hint of hip hop to create a kitschy camp hedonic potion of sound perfect for partying to. Their finest work is Dewdrops in the Garden (1994) features repetitive thumping beats, super cutesy vocals, and fabulous piano – it’s sure to pack the dance floor at any house party.

Cancer 

22nd June to 22nd July

Cancers are drawn to soft, creative music often with a romantic quality. A fellow Cancer herself, Kali Uchis makes emotionally nurturing music for the highly intuitive among us. Cancers treat yourselves to a bit of healing and romantic passion with Kali’s newest record Red Moon in Venus (2023). Reflecting “the divine femininity of the moon and Venus” the warm laidback R&B album features a mix of passionate love songs and Kali’s heartbroken yearnings that will entrance Cancers. Virgo

August 23rd – 22nd September

Hardworking, creative, reliable, patient, kind Virgos – you deserve an album as good as your character. Mama’s Gun (2000) by psychedelic neo-soul goddess Erykah Badu is the ideal album for you. Incorporating elements of funk, soul, and jazz styles and dabbling in themes of love, philosophy, and religion, it’s a great album for chilling out with your friends and reflecting on your day of putting good energy out into the world.

Libra 

23rd September – 23rd October

British singer-songwriter Joy Crookes, a Libra, always sounds poised and in control even when singing about vulnerable themes such as heartbreak, mental health struggles, and identity. Libras will fall for the neo-soul singer on the rich and luscious Skin (2021). Despite the heavy subject matter, Joy’s honey-toned voice and jazzy melodies will soothe Libra’s soul and help them restore the balance they crave after a long day.

Scorpio

23rd October – 21st November

The mysterious and passionate Scorpio crave meaningful complex music to match their intense personalities. Rosalía’s MOTOMAMI (2022) will be right up their alley. The concept album detailing the Spanish singer’s struggles with homesickness and isolation during the past three years blew away critics last year and reached the top ten in seven different countries. This electric mix of art pop, flamenco nuevo, and neoperro will ignite the fire in Scorpio whilst satisfying their urge for deep meaning.

Sagittarius

22nd November to 21st December

The masked villain MF Doom was an innovative artist who inspired many of his successors with his impressive ability to weave samples from retro cartoons, snappy beats, humorous lyrics, and gorgeous flows to create masterful hip hop tracks that never missed. Adventurous Sagittarius who love the witty and tongue-in-cheek need to listen to MM FOOD… (2004) – a concept album “about the things you find on a picnic, or at a picnic table”. Undoubtedly those who haven’t listened to MF Doom yet will still be familiar with the TikTok-adored tracks ‘Hoe Cakes’ and ‘Rap Snitch Knishes’.

Capricorn

22nd December – 19th January

The overachieving, persistent, and sensitive Capricorn will feel inspired by many of the themes on Little Simz’s Sometimes I Might Be Introvert (2021). On this ambitious album Little Simz tackles the injustices black people face to this day, the government’s corruption, as well as her own insecurities, hopes, and dreams, and praises women and other strong people of colour. It’s a bold album that at times is triumphant with Simz’s lyrics surrounded by uplifting fanfare and in other moments more vulnerable and reflective. Either way, it’s an empowering hip hop album full of smooth melodies that will motivate Cancer in whatever endeavours they’re pursuing.

Aquarius

20th January – 18th February

Miley Cyrus has always been original and one step ahead of the trends throughout her career – she wowed us as Hannah Montana, reinvented herself with ‘Wrecking Ball’, gave us all the rocker glam with ‘Midnight Sky’, and her new album Endless Summer Vacation (2023) will be the ideal summer soundtrack for Aquarius. Clever, self-reliant, and creative, Aquarius embody many of the traits Miley stands for. You’ll be obsessed with Miley’s spunky new tracks like ‘Handstand’, ‘River’, and ‘Rose Colored Lenses’.

Pisces

19th February – 20th March

Synthpop duo Magdalena Bay shook up the music world in 2021 with their futuristic debut album Mercurial World (2021). Its surreal cyber sound sucks the listener into a pink-tinted electronic world – the whole album sounds like if an MS Paint drawing of a unicorn could sing. Mercurial World will appeal to whimsical Pisces with their love for daydreaming. Hypnotic and melodic, lose yourself to the airy ‘Dawning of the Season’ and dance yourself stupid to ‘Hysterical Us’.

]]> Our top-tier cool girl Rosalia is our style inspiration right now. She is a sensation when it comes to throwing fits together and has definitely created her own vibe. With hundreds of iconic style looks behind her, we have hand selected 10 for you to recreate.

This first fit is exactly why we love her. It is chic, cool and unforgiving. Rosalia channels the bad bitch energy with her attitude and choice of style pairing. The tight long-sleeve is flattering and her figure is flaunted with the black pvc trousers. The graphic top is very noughties and pairs really well with looser fitted bottoms. A girl who has always got her shades handy, of course, they top off the look and are an essential part of a Rosalia inspired fit.

If you are trying to jump on a classic Rosalia style fit, this look is perfect. It incorporates so many trends which she keeps coming back to, again and again. Leather proves to be big in Rosalia’s wardrobe which is great for us, because it is so timeless. Anything with slits and cuts is mostly likely a good start for the formation of a Rosalia fit. Oversized blazer on top and you have a winner. Feel free to add your own shades, hers are probably in her pocket.

Rosalia is no stranger to the matching ensemble. Double leather definitely gets the go ahead, and the more unconventional, the better. The unique graffiti styled leather set is paired with chunky black platform crocs. Key takeaway is an oversized matching fit with some statement shoes.

Maybe you want to give the deconstructed, experimental looks a try. Anything which goes slightly against the grain is perfect for one of these looks. The corseted bodice of the gown features metal wiring and the hemlines are distressed. These aspects give the unfinished look which is aesthetically appealing and very modern.

This is an iconic outfit to recreate. Not your conventional suit here at all. The incorporation of the denim in the suit trousers makes the whole aesthetic edgy as opposed to clean-cut. The black bandeau top, round-lensed sunglasses and platform boots are little sprinkles of how Rosalia has made this an iconic signature fit of hers.

A simple halter-neck dress makes a big impact. The stretch of the sheer material is super flattering to wear as it hugs the figure underneath. The earthy colours are very natural and subtly enticing which is part of the reason why we are so obsessed with this look. It is hard for a maxi-dress not to look effortlessly stunning as it plays with body coverage in a way our minds can’t quite get around.

Oui, oui, oui. A very classy, elegant fit which is super easy to replicate. The white maxi-dress allows for a colourful handbag and matching shoes to really pop and stand-out. The bright pink is such a shout because it contrasts dramatically with the shade of the dress.

This look is coming to you right in time for Valentine’s Day. Love heart motifs are everywhere right now so sourcing should be no trouble and super on trend. Faux fur cuffs are a Y2K trend that has gotten better with age and so we are pumped it is within our Rosalia looks. The full monochromatic red look is going to stand-out wherever you are and you are gonna feel like the main character, that is for sure.

Another red look making it into our style edit. We can’t get enough of sheer and neither can Rosalia. Adding some sheer to your wardrobe with get you on lines with the style icon and make throwing together outfits so much easier. The fluffy bucket hat is an accessory you want to familiarize yourself with this SS23.

Rosalia’s Latin Grammy Awards outfit was a gorgeous fully sequined gold gown. The off-the-shoulder bardot dress was an iconic fashion moment for the singer as she turned heads on the red-carpet. The high leg-slit is giving us a moment and we are here for it.

Rosalía is back with her first drop of 2023 bringing us the laidback and tender alt-pop track ‘LLYLM’. The romantic number was released on the 27th January and is one to add to your Valentine’s Day playlist. In a rare move, the bilingual singer sings in both Spanish and English in this sweet-sounding sound telling her partner “I don’t need honesty/Baby, lie like you love me” in the chorus. With the mix emphasising the bass and hand-clap rhythm the song is one you’ll want to move to. We’re loving Rosalía’s enchanting sad girl energy on ‘LLYLM’ and are hoping she’ll release more songs like this throughout the year.

The flamenco sensation also released a visualiser alongside the track bringing us adorable coquette style with the singer jumping on a bed wearing a cute grey pleated skirt with ruffled lace peeking out and baby pink boots. The visualiser has 2.7M views within a week of its release.

The Spanish singer has accumulated ten number-one singles in her home country, the most for a local artist, as well as a Grammy and a whopping 11 Latin Grammy awards. Last year she received international acclaim for her album Motomami, which peaked at number 33 on the US Billboard 200.

Meanwhile, the singer Chlöe is taking us to church with her fiery new song ‘Pray It Away’, which was dropped on 27th January with a sexy music video. Some of our favourite artists gave Chlöe love for the single on her Instagram including Janelle Monae, SZA, Lil Nas X, and Doechii – and we can see why.

The gospel-inspired track has Chlöe asking God to help her forgive her ex and resist her hateful thoughts. Chlöe delivers a powerful vocal performance that R&B fans will adore. With a great beat, angelic backing vocals, and a memorable chorus it’s one you’ll find yourself singing along to in no time.

The video for the song already has nearly 2M providing very popular with fans of the R&B singer. Chlöe looks radiant kneeling in a white ruched off-the-shoulder wedding dress by the altar of a church lit by the light of hundreds of candles. With glitter tears streaming down her face and brown gloss on her lips, we wished we looked that good after a breakup. She swaps the wedding dress for a shorter mesh panelled corset number that allows her to throw herself around the church with passion. The standout look in the video is the fierce tight black PVC dress and pant combo Chlöe dons paired with a wide hat, chunky gold hoops, long leather gloves, and a plum lip – complete baddie energy.

The singer was first known as one half of Chloe x Halle, the R&B duo composed of herself and her sisters Halle Bailey. The sisters have a variety of accomplishments together having starred in TV show Grownish (as well as singing the theme song), appeared in several films and TV series respectively, charted at number 16 on Billboard 200 with their second album Ungodly Hour, earned several Grammy nominations, and performed as openers for Beyoncé’s Formations Tour and Jay Z & Bey’s On The Run II Tour. Could we be seeing them opening for Beyoncé’s Renaissance Tour this year?

Now Chlöe’s going solo with her debut solo album In Pieces set to be released in March 2023. ‘Pray It Away’ is the lead single for the album with the previous four singles released last year being scrapped after the singer told her fans that the album had evolved past them in a tweet earlier this year. She told Billboard that when her sister went to London for around eight months to film the Disney live-action reboot of The Little Mermaid, that’s when she started work on the album saying, “I always have my sister’s support, and she will always have mine, no matter what we do together or individually”. We can’t wait to hear more!
