With their new roadmap to mitigate their impact on planet and communities by 2030, including an aim to achieve 100% renewable energy by 2023, Dior is at the forefront of this shift. Dior’s strategy is founded on five key pillars, the forefront of which being their focus on unlocking the power of flowers to protect biodiversity and regenerate ecosystems via responsible and sustainable beauty. Laurent Kleitman, President and Chief Executive Officer at Parfums Christian Dior, claimed that the brand has ‘put flowers at the spearhead’ of their sustainability strategy to ‘preserve their heritage and develop their presence in the ecosystem.’ Partnering with the world’s largest agricultural campus, Hectar, to launch a scalable education programme focused on regenerative flower farming by 2023, Dior is shaping a kinder future via natural raw materials and a carefully considered value chain.

Most recently, Dior Haute Couture launched its Autumn-Winter 2022-2023 Collection, taking place on July 4th at Musée Rodin, Paris. Peter Phillips, Creative and Image Director for Dior Makeup, employed nude tones and a natural glow to create simplistic, pure makeup looks that dominated the runway, proving that Dior Beauty can be sustainably conscious without compromising quality. ]]> Is there anything this powerhouse of a woman can’t do? Adding perfumer to her long list of achievements, Billie Eilish is launching her very own fragrance this November. 

At just 19 years of age the star has already won seven Grammy Awards and is now breaking into the beauty industry with force. Her debut fragrance is candidly named ‘Eilish’, releasing notes of amber, cocoa, vanilla, and warm spices, making it is the perfect winter whiff. After a life-long obsession with exploring scents and a fascination with the beauty of fragrance bottles, Eilish couldn’t wait to get involved with the process from start to finish, and that she did. Reflecting on the scent as one of nostalgia which brings about homely feelings of warmth and cosiness, Eilish revealed it is a “scent that [she’s] been chasing for years and years and years” and even labelled it as her favourite smell in the world.

Scent aside for just a moment, the fragrance bottle is a beautiful design, sculpted in rich bronze, specifically reflecting Eilish’s favourite parts of the human body. The result offers a bottle reminiscent of Ancient Greek Sculpture, revealing an artistic and lavish design.

Speaking on the bottle, Eilish said:

“I’ve always had an infatuation with back and collarbones and just like, bones and bodies, I didn’t want to have it be a certain body type. I think that the human body is so beautiful as it is, and we should stop changing all of our bodies and just be appreciative of what they naturally are because they’re so beautiful.”

Following the announcement that the Queen of Pop Ariana Grande has listed a trademark for a beauty line, there has been another bout of exciting news. Posting on Instagram yesterday “coming soon @ultabeauty” Ari graced us with our first look at her new perfume, dubbed ‘God Is A Women.’

The dreamy video reveals the packaging for the fragrance – the bottle comes with a diamond-shaped cut-out revealing a transparent purple formula. Other than that, we don’t know any other information and are still waiting patiently for another word on when the beauty line will drop, which is set to include ‘skincare, body care mousse, mists, soufflés, perfumes, shower gels and bath gels.’

This isn’t the first time the ‘Positions’ singer has delved into the beauty pool. She has three perfumes to her name, including ‘Cloud,’ ‘R.E.M’ and the eponymous ‘Ariana Grande Eau de Parfum’, which combined made a staggering £105 million in 2017 alone.

Ari is certainly a beauty icon in her own right, with her trademark cat-eye and waist-length ponytail have inspired millions to invest in hair extensions like hers. So we’re excited to see what she brings with this beauty empire and while we may be struggling with celebrity beauty line fatigue, she is sure to breathe life back into the niche.

We’re not entirely sure what a body soufflé is but 100% ready to try it out.
