How your body looks is a testament to how hard it has fought and persevered. And this attitude is something we can all embody whether we’re breast cancer survivors or not and leading the way to self-love is none other than Kim Kardashian in her latest campaign to celebrate our bodies and what they are capable of.

While October certainly houses the season of frights, ghouls, and ghosts (we love you Halloween), October also explores a darker scare that we should all be aware of. October is breast cancer awareness month and while the focus should be on the fun things in life, we also need to pay special attention to our own health, as well as the wellbeing of those around us who may be feeling a little lost this month.

So, what better way to raise awareness and promote inclusivity that the queen of the Kardashian clan herself, Kim, to raise awareness in the promotion of her new Skims campaign; an ode to the wonderful Olivia Munn and her story.

Every scar tells a story of courage, a testament to a battle fought and a victory won. Scars are a mark of resilience, a symbol of strength worn like a second skin, and no one understands the importance of loving your scars like cancer survivors, and in particular, actress Olivia Munn. In March 2024, Olivia Munn revealed that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer the previous year. After four surgeries, including a double mastectomy, Olivia expressed her relief that it was caught with enough time that she had options, emphasising the importance of checking and remaining aware.

To spread this message, SKIMS have dedicated this month to raising awareness in order to empower women to check themselves regularly and advocate for your health in the instance that you feel something is wrong. This October, Skims is proud to spotlight Olivia Munn’s breast cancer journey to empower women to get tested. From October 23rd to October 31st, SKIMS will be donating to Susan G. Komen, a breast cancer foundation, 10% of the retail sales for each bra sold in SKIMS stores and on SKIMS.com across their US stores and sites again showcasing that Kim is more than stunning businesswomen, she is a mother and individual devoted to empowering women and making sure everyone feels sexy and confident in the own skin.

The collaboration involved drawing inspiration from the Body Glove archives and re-engineering the classic Body Glove silhouettes to cater to a wider size range, with items being sold in sizes XS-5XL plus. The pieces range from high-leg one-pieces, swim skirts, biker shorts, zip-up bikini tops, long sleeves, halter neck tops, and classic bikini sets. The styles were also altered to ensure they enhanced curves and gave the signature Kardashian hourglass shape, flattering all body types. Another big change was the colour scheme, with bright fuchsia and shimmering gold being the focus of the collection. With details like black panelling and zippers being maintained, this collection is making us want to run along a beach to the Baywatch theme song!

Kendall Jenner first brought the spotlight to this trend, sporting tights with just a jumper and slingbacks on the streets of LA. Her sister Kylie and fellow model Bella Hadid have also been photographed wearing white boxers to attend fashion week and run errands. Kylie went head to toe in Loewe, pairing white boxers with a tank top, grey cashmere coat, tights, and heels. Bella kept it simple by layering a leather jacket over a micro-tee and white briefs and accessorising with white athletic socks, mini platform Uggs, and sunglasses to eat pizza on the streets of NYC.

Fans were divided when Kendall stepped out in the revealing outfit, with many people on Instagram saying this would ‘never’ be a trend. Is this the next stage in the Miu Miu micro miniskirt and Diesel belt-skirt saga? ‘No pants’ has been seen repeatedly through fashion month, both on the runway and on the front row. Miu Miu presented bedazzled underpants with everyday-wear, while Christian Siriano paired tights with silk blazers and bold-coloured details.

For New York Fashion Week’s Coach FW23 show, Camila Mendes wore nothing but black underwear, an oversized leather jacket, and loafers, despite it being February.

However, this trend has a history far beyond fashion week and paparazzi shots. Remember the 60s hype after the Elvis movie was released this summer? Ann-Margret, his co-star in Viva Las Vegas, was a big fan of the no pants look, opting to style it with a high neck top. Also in the 60s, actress Edie Sedgwick was often seen wearing just tights or fishnets with a fur coat, the wardrobe inspo behind many 2010s styles like those worn by Sienna Miller and Kate Moss.

Another 60s trend that has come back into fashion recently is knee-high boots. This staple wardrobe piece elongates your legs and goes perfectly with the no-pants look.

It doesn’t sound like an awful idea for a hot, sweaty nightclub, but if that isn’t your scene, then why not try it for your workout class? Balletcore has been trending on TikTok for a while now, with over 440 million views on the hashtag. Clearly, the no-pants trend has practical uses and would look super chic at reformer Pilates.

After struggling with psoriasis, Kim embarked on a mission to discover how to care for her skin, using her diagnosis as her catalyst to success. Working alongside the knowledge that she has accumulated over the last decade, often in the presence of the world’s most esteemed professionals and dermatologists, SKKN inarguably includes all of the best ingredients you may be missing out on – from hyaluronic acid to niacinamide.

A few splashes of toner are then gently swiped across her face, followed by a couple of pumps of each respective serum (vitamin C8 at nighttime,) some eye cream applied via her ring finger, and finally, a selection of either face cream and oil drops, or solely, the night cream.

The collection displays the classic cotton co-ord,  signature ribbed cotton loungewear, all in neutral colours. However, classic does not have to be boring and SKIMS is ready to make it up to date. The aim of the brand is to create cool, sexy, and comfortable underwear, loungewear, and shapewear lines. 

“I love SKIMS. They are so comfy and make me feel very sexy at the same time.” Declared the Spanish singer during the campaign. 

“I’m so excited that I finally got the chance to collaborate, especially in their Cotton Collection which is my fave.” She continued.

Skims prides itself on providing solutions for women of all shapes, sizes, backgrounds, etc. This strategy is reflected in the models they choose to represent their brand.

Kim praised the singer’s willingness to push the boundaries and experiment with her music and personal style which has been a huge inspiration for her. “This campaign is all about the energy and confidence that she brings to the world,” she said.

The musician — who has collaborated with everyone from The Weeknd to Travis Scott — posted a few shots to Instagram in the collection’s cotton rib leggings, plunge bralette on Monday with the caption, “todo el mundo lleva @skims,” or, “Everyone wears Skims.” Which has become the famous motto of the campaign, and turns out to be the first bilingual one.

If you didn’t have any Valentine’s plans, don’t worry, now you do. The SKIMS ‘Fits Everybody Valentine’s Collection’ is dropping tomorrow, and it’s a good one. 

SKIMS launched as a shapewear line in 2018, but it’s grown from strength to strength over the past three years, and now we have access to SKIMS loungewear, underwear, and bodysuits. After the recent restock of the velour collection which lets us live out all of our 2000’s dreams, Kim has blessed us with this brand-new Valentine’s collection.

The collection consists of six different styles; a straight neck underwired bra, a skimpy scoop neck bralette, a scoop neck bra, a strappy back cami, a micro thong, and a regular thong. The collection also has two brand new colour options available; poppy red and cherry blossom pink, perfect for February 14th. 

The thong and scoop neck bra are available in 15 different shades, whilst the rest of the collection is available in the new poppy red and cherry blossom pink and the older, popular sienna brown and onyx black. Can we complain that there are too many options for our bank account to handle?

Kim, Kendall, and Kylie all posed in the latest collection in what was the most jaw-dropping shoot yet. Against a pale pink latex curtain, the three looked stunning in poppy red SKIMS lingerie and gave us some great pics for our Valentine’s day mood boards.

The entire collection is better than we could’ve dreamed of – it’s a limited edition range and it’s definitely the sexiest drop yet. The curve friendly collection is a valentine’s day blessing. 

The ‘Fits Everybody Valentine’s Collection’ is pretty aptly named given the inclusivity that the line brings. With a size range of XXS-4XS. It’s hard to justify not picking up any, right?

If you’re looking for Valentine’s day inspiration, we think making our way through a heart-shaped cake dressed in lingerie (just like Kim) whilst SKIMS shopping might just be the vision we needed.

It’s been a hot minute since Kylie and Kendall gave us a sneak peek into their upcoming collab with Kylie Cosmetics, and already the entire collection has been revealed!

Just about everyone in the Kardashian clan has collaborated with Kylie in Kylie Cosmetics. Since she launched the brand in 2015, we’ve had an epic collab with momager, Kris, two collections with Khloe and of course with KKW beauty.

Well now, we are finally (*emphasis on finally*) getting a ‘Kendall by Kylie Cosmetics’ collab. In perfect Jenner style, these two have not let a global pandemic stop the hustle and have brought us the moment we have all been waiting for.

The iconic duo both took to Instagram this weekend to reveal the launch in a very Jenner-style sultry promotion video and layout of the products. “I’ve been so excited to finally collaborate with my sister. With everything that’s going on, it’s been pushed back a lot so I’m very happy to be finally showing you guys,” said Kylie in an Instagram story.

In terms of the collection, we can really see how the two sisters’ styles have merged together. We’ve got a neutral vibe that Kendall is so well known for, as well as a pop of colour from Kylie’s end. The best of both really.

The sisters have introduced brand-new products to the Kylie Cosmetics family including a shimmery eye gloss (special request by Miss Kendall Jenner) as well as contour sticks (yes, we are all thinking KKW Beauty rivalry) and a blotting powder.

While we cannot wait to dive into new products, of course, it wouldn’t be Kylie Cosmetics without some classics. The 15-shade shadow palette contains an assortment of shades going from one extreme to the other and names like ‘Here Kenny Kenny’ and ‘Name a More Iconic Duo.’ Very ‘Jenner’, right?

And if we know Kylie, which we do, the collab wouldn’t be complete without some lip products; and we haven’t been let down in that department. The collection features a new Lip Blush Kit named ‘Sister Sister’ which features a liner and semi-matte liquid lipstick. We certainly are not complaining about another Kylie Lip Kit here.

If it couldn’t get better, to support the BTLM movement, the Jenner sisters revealed that a portion of all sales will be donated to organisations that defend the rights of black trans people.

Yes, we have spent many impatient years waiting for this drop. So why didn’t this collab come sooner? Well, Kylie explained that she hadn’t been able to work with her supermodel sis, as Kendall was under a contract with Estee Lauder. Well, move aside Estee, Kylie Cosmetics is coming through. The time has come.

And you haven’t got long to wait! The collection will be launched on the 26th of June on Kylie Cosmetics. Time to start clearing some space in your makeup bag.
