Podcasts are becoming a perfect source for learning more about anything and everything that interests you! Long journeys and household tasks can pass quickly when you listen to an engaging discussion or funny duo. Podcasts produce short, digestible media which offer explanations of complex subjects or can be used as a form of meditative self-care when listening to fashion news or comedic shows. 

The Daily by The New York Times provides explorative news episodes, five days a week. Her podcast is growing in popularity and is adored for how she speaks candidly about mental health and navigating life as a 20-year-old. Anything Goes provides the listener with food-for-thought and helps us reflect on ourselves. It is ideal for listening to during mindful walks or mid-afternoon breaks. 

For daily fashion news, The Business of Fashion Podcast provides an in-depth analysis of the market. They share engaging interviews with creative directors, provide explanations on business dealings, and advise young creatives wanting to break into the fashion world. When you don’t have the time to sit still and read a business article, this podcast is a great alternative to listen to as you journey to work or to meet up with friends. 

Another option for self-care can simply be listening to a comedy podcast to boost your mood. Smartless, hosted by Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes, and Will Arnett is guaranteed to make you feel better. In each episode, one of the hosts introduces his guest who is a mystery to the other two hosts until that moment; this format provides genuine and authentic conversations between comedic people. If you are a fan of sitcoms like Arrested Development, Will & Grace, or The Office, then this podcast will certainly bring you joy.

Everything you need to know about the current gossip page everyone’s obsessing over

You’ve probably heard about Kim Kardashian rumoured divorce from Kanye West, about
Zoe Kravitz possible new romance with Channing Tatum or even about Luka Sabbat’s latest
movie project with Duke Nicholson.

Want to know what all of these have in common? Well, they’ve all surfaced thanks to Deuxmoi, the hottest gossip Instagram of the moment. Since its inception, last March Deuxmoi has become one of the main sources of celebrity gossip and entertainment with over 570K followers. The Instagram account described as the “curators of pop culture” receives user-submitted scoops on your favourite A-list personalities, from simple sightings to random details of their private lives. Whether these result to be true or not is still unknown, and to be frank, of little interest to its followers.

Most of the trending information shared is often unconfirmed or based on assumptions of anonymous individuals. Sometimes it even becomes a guessing game, putting a name to the
faces mentioned in the stories, since in some cases the details shared are too compromising or
just explicit to actually reveal the identity of the celebrity in question.

So it is curious to see that even if we’re all aware of this it does not stop us, its followers,
from checking out the plenty of stories uploaded and taking part in the game. Oh, and the
most alluring part of it all? Its exclusivity of course. Deuxmoi is a private Instagram account
which means that to be part of the community you have to be accepted in and there’s no other
way around it or anyone else to resort to in the case that you’re not.

As explained by the mysterious owner herself in a recent interview with Bustle, many
celebrities actually form part of this community as well but they just decide to do it
undercover, using their finstas instead of their main accounts. “ They don’t want people to see that they’re following the account, I guess. It’s like a dirty little secret.”

But surprisingly this isn’t everyone’s case, Hailey Bieber herself has admitted of being a
reader of Deuxmoi. Through her Instagram stories last month she let everyone know that she
believes she’s discovered the identity of the anonymous woman running the account, but of
course, without letting us know who her suspect is. And we’ll probably never know, or at
least we hope not to… What fun would there be afterwards? Afterall the account isn’t about
the person who runs it but about the mystery surrounding it.

If you’re looking for a diversion from your daily life, an entertaining way to distract yourself from this overwhelming lockdown, following Deuxmoi might be a good idea (if you aren’t
already). Keeping up with our own version ‘Gossip Girl’ can be an efficient way of escapism.
But don’t forget that at the end of the way that’s all it is, gossip on the rich and famous as a
way to divert from the mundane.

Co-creative director, after much speculation this is the post assumed by Raf Simons in Prada. Although this is the first time the Prada brand has had a creative director outside the family the relationship between Simons and Prada is not one out of the blues. Raf Simons was once the former creative director of Jill sander from 2005- 2012, a brand previously owned by the Prada Group and later sold to a London private equity firm.

Raf Simons rose to become one of the world’s most influential designers known for working in luxury fashion houses like Dior, Jill Sander and Calvin Klein. The concept designer from Belgium famous for his non-binary and storytelling style has always managed to present shows with aspects of escapism. The Belgian born designer storytelling abilities have always translated to relevant current societal topics.

During his time at Jill Sander, Raf Simmons introduced a sense of sexuality in the brand while still remaining to his minimalist roots. This is seen from the series of fringe dresses draped to shape the body, that was worn by Miranda Kerr to the 2009 Met gala.

Although Simons time in Calvin Klein was short due to creative and commercial differences with the brand CEO, his influence on the brand was unmatched. The designer transformed the brand. His appointment met with praise from his loyal menswear supporters from Jill Sander and Dior. In the first season alone, the designer grew the doors selling 205W39NYC from 30 to 300. Raf Simons commanded international attention for the brand with his creative interpretation of modern American heritage seen as he puts the Kardashians as the face of Calvin Klein in a campaign featuring other artists like Solange and Asap rocky.

Simons will work with equal responsibility and decision making alongside Miuccia Prada who has been the creative director of the brand since its origin into ready to wear from luggage. The designer claims that he has always had an interest in the Prada brand and aims to understand how creativity can evolve in today’s fashion system. The appointment of Raf Simons into the Prada brand will be official on the 1st of April with their first collection in September Spring/Summer 2021.

The lookbook for the upcoming H&M | Moschino collaboration has been released and it’s everything we hoped for!

For the past few months, fans have been begging for a peek behind the curtain of H&M and Jeremy Scott’s design laboratory, wondering about what colours, characters, and prices the collection would sport. Well, they’ve finally drawn the curtain back and revealed their brilliant creations for all the world to see.

The collection is bouncing off the walls with energetic colours and fun characters like a glamourised Minnie Mouse and streetwise Donald Duck. There is no shortage of sequins and gold chains in womenswear, menswear, and even petwear! That’s right, there’s even something for your precious pooch to sport to the dog park.

Scott stated “Like all my collections, it’s humour meets haute couture meets the street. That’s been a hallmark of my work for MOSCHINO, and I want to continue to explore that with this collection.”

What really sells the whole lookbook, styled by Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele and photographed by Marcus Mam, is the amazing energy the models are giving off. Dilone, Aquaria, Barbie Ferreira, Ami and Aya, and Teddy Quinlivan are captured having the best time being themselves. We even get some voguing from the stunning Mj Rodriguez from POSE (go watch it, it’s THE BEST).

Prices will range from £30 to £300 so there’s no need to save for months for a jacket, just make sure you’re lined up on release day November 8th!
