meets European grit. Designed alongside Diesel’s Creative Director Glenn Martens, the nine-piece
drop translates the Colombian singer’s Tropicoqueta era into wearable art: a fusion of heat,
rebellion, and identity that feels like a love letter to the global Latin woman who owns her spotlight
rather than chasing it.

The partnership feels natural. Diesel has been slowly reclaiming its cultural relevance under
Martens, and Karol G embodies everything that makes the brand tick. It is loud, unapologetic, and
sexy in a knowing way. Together they created a collection that reimagines Diesel’s grunge-infused

This is the second collaboration for Aries and Mia Khalifa, with the first being a 2024 calendar with the help of incredibly talented German Photographer Juergen Teller. This time, they collaborated on a t-shirt, emblazoned with a powerful message of solidarity and support for Gaza.

The design featured Khalifa in a veil, holding a watermelon as a pro Palestine tribute. Watermelon has long been a staple of food in the region, and young activists have adopted the watermelon emoji as a tribute, sign of solidarity and as a way of calling a ceasefire. The shirt was available for purchase on Aries’ website, with the aim to donate 100% of profits towards various organisations working in support of the people in Gaza. Specifically, Ghassan Abu Sittah, Children’s Fund, Addameer Palestineand Islamic Relief UK. 

Mia has been incredibly vocal about her support of Palestine, so much so that she was dropped from a Playboy podcasting deal after sharing content on her social media in support of the cause. The release of the t-shirt was a way to use her huge platform and influence to make a positive impact. She posted on her socials “if you can look at the situation in Palestine and not be on the side of Palestinians, then you are on the wrong side of apartheid, and history will show that in time.”

In a statement accompanying the launch of the t-shirt, Mia expressed her solidarity with the people of Gaza and her commitment to raising awareness about the humanitarian crisis unfolding in the region. She urged her fans to join her in supporting those in need and to stand together in the fight for justice and peace.

Ganni is a Danish fashion brand founded as a cashmere line by Frans Truelsen in 2000. Talking to I-D Magazine, Ditte Reffstrup, Creative Director of Ganni, said they wanted to “conjure that mood you’re in when you’re going on a holiday, and everything feels so light and joy-filled” as well as something that “exuded a sense of feeling confident and sexy in your own skin”. The collection is also manufactured in an eco-friendly manner, using materials like organic cotton, recycled polyamide, and recycled polyester mesh.

Rousteing told French Vogue that the idea to collaborate came about when he was sketching while listening to the new album on repeat after its July 2022 release, and was inspired by the lyrics and music. He contacted Beyonce and her stylist, Marni Senofonte, and said he would like to create a couture collection together as co-designers. He had many sketches inspired by the album but managed to whittle it down to just one per song, two of which Beyonce already wore to the Grammys and BRIT awards before the collaboration was officially released. The looks incorporate historic elements of Balmain and celebrate Beyoncé’s heritage, bringing to life the powerful emotions encapsulated in her music.

Rousteing and Beyoncé have worked together many times over the years, from perfecting outfits for her 2018 Coachella headline to opening his 10-year anniversary show for Balmain in 2021.

She says he is a “dream collaborator and a constantly innovating and evolving creative”, with whom she knew she “would want to work on a collection from their very first meeting”.

Renaissance is Beyoncé’s 7th studio album, created during the COVID-19 pandemic with the intention of inspiring happiness and an escape from isolation to listeners, and to celebrate the liberation of marginalised people through dance. It won a Grammy for best dance and electronic album and was nominated for album of the year.

So, it is no surprise that after the success of the first collection, Jean Paul Gaultier and Y/Project have come back with a second collaboration. While the first collection was Haute Couture, this collaboration is a Ready-to-Wear collection inspired by the Parisian fashion house’s iconic trompe l’œil prints. The collection features an array of fun designs that also play with ‘fake’ photo prints, this time opting for pieces that depict other designs or clothing items on them. These include skirts with jeans printed on them, tops that look like jackets and dresses that appear as a completely different outfit.

A dark, sleazy, brooding, yet magical aura permeates the music video shot in Tokyo directed by Samuel Ibrams, who often works with Shygirl creating the artwork for her last album Nymph. Dimly lit retro hotel rooms, glittery multicoloured LED lights, late-night karaoke sessions, adorable fawns, and nocturnal Tokyo alleyways are all caught on the smudgy shaky camera. At times the nauseating shots of unknown places from inside the body mixed with blinding white lights and dizzyingly fast cuts disorientate the viewer – thankfully we have the beautiful Shygirl and Björk’s vocals to guide us through this unsettling maze. The almost vampiric sensual Shygirl is totally captivating whether she’s staring into the camera emerging from a motel bathtub or receiving desperate kisses from lovers with a smirk on her face. Actor George Smale and model Nina Utashiro von Hahn get cosy with Shygirl playing her lucky prey in the video. 

In her verses, Björk shares her advice with Shygirl telling her, “I wish her love to you would suffice / But those bitches are not meant to satisfy” and warns her about lovers trying to steal her energy and the spotlight singing, “You’re glowing so hard / They all want to share the flight”.

Björk illuminated the meaning of her added verses in a press release writing, “Shy told me in her lyric she is talking about both different amorous interests and fame and how suddenly everyone wants something from you and you should be thrilled but you´re not and i decided to take an angle as an older ‘amour’ and give advice… because in ‘Woe’ she is asking a question and i decided to reply to it from the SUFI angle which is: enjoy the wanting and the longing and NOT getting what you want but enjoy wanting it… how the whirling dervishes reach up when they turn, it is meant to represent that longing and being content with that… also on a more everyday personal level it is about sometimes when you are not satisfied in a relationship, you should not expect your partner to heal that or fix that… rather look at him or her as a partner in crime or a fellow-not-getter… another human with that insatiable longing.”

Though Björk has reworked the song as a response to ‘Woe’ there are still glimmers of Shygirl’s original delicate vocals at the start of the track and weaved in between Björk’s new verse as well as residual touches of Sega Bodega’s production. Shygirl also demonically croons a new hair-raising bridge whilst alien-like noises crackle softly in the background.

The 90s Icelandic alt pop icon Björk released her tenth studio album Fossora last year. Taking listeners on a journey down a winding fungal-filled forest path, the album combined Björk’s distinct vocals and poetry with thumping electronica and sinister chamber music to create a very dark kind of fairytale. Björk in a rare collaborative move worked with Shygirl and her producer Sega Bodega to create a remix of the second single from the album ‘Ovule’ leading to this second collaboration between the two ground-breaking artists.

‘Woe (I See It From Your Side)’ is the third track to be released from Shygirl’s upcoming deluxe album Nymph_o which will be released on the 14^th April. Last month Shygirl gave us the dream collab by teaming up with R&B singer Tinashe for a dreamy new version of ‘Heaven’. Shygirl gave us a top tier dance track in December when she dropped the first track from the deluxe album ‘Poison (Club Shy remix)’. Prepare for more mystical reimagines of tracks from Shygirl’s album from last year Nymph from artists such as Arca, Eartheater, and Erica de Casier as well as some brand-new tracks.

Frankies Bikinis took to Instagram yesterday to announce the collaboration that we never knew we needed; Sydney Sweeney x Frankies Bikinis. Remember this time last year when we were all losing our minds over Cassie’s hot pink one-piece in *that* Euphoria scene. Well, the swimsuit in question came courtesy of none other than Frankies Bikinis.  

Following the viral success of Cassie’s hot tub look, it comes as no surprise that the Sydney Sweeney x Frankies Bikinis collab is set to be the celebrity fashion drop of the year. When you consider both Sydney Sweeney’s success working with high fashion brands such as Miu Miu and the popularity of Frankies Bikinis’ past collaborations with Gigi Hadid, Hailee Steinfeld and Naomi Osaka, this collab is bound to be a hit. And if history is about to repeat itself you might find yourself on a long waiting list for these pieces, so we advise you sign up to early access while you can.

From what we have seen of the collection so far, the looks are set to be highly feminine and romantic, a brand image that has been curated around Sydney since her depiction of the hopeless romantic Cassie Howard in HBO’s Euphoria. The promotional video follows Sydney around a romantic European estate in an intimate film that recreates the look of a home video shot by a loved one. This feeling of romance and intimacy is continued in the collection itself as the video was captioned: 

“𝐿𝑜𝓋𝑒 𝐿𝑒𝓉𝓉𝑒𝓇𝓈 𝒷𝓎 𝒮𝓎𝒹𝓃𝑒𝓎 𝒮𝓌𝑒𝑒𝓃𝑒𝓎 introducing @sydney_sweeney x Frankies Bikinis, our sexiest collection yet. inspired by the girl who follows her heart, with pieces that highlight Sydney’s gorgeous femininity + sweet romantic aura. #sydneyxfrankies (drop 1) coming 3.14.”

The pieces are full of frills and lace, some looks are so romantic that they appear bridal. One pattern was even designed from the lipstick stains left from Sydney’s kisses. Sydney and Frankie described the collection best themselves when sharing that the collection was “inspired by the girl who follows her heart”. This is a collection that truly expresses and celebrates the romance in femininity. 

The first drop from the collection will be available from March 14^th, but if you miss out then don’t worry because there will be a second release in early April. If manage to bag some pieces from this collection, you’ll feel just like Cassie who has “never ever been happier”.

Starting off, we present the second collaboration between Louis Vuitton and Yayoi Kusama. The French label has once again partnered with the Japanese pop artist to bring a collection which embodies the very best of art and fashion. Releasing this month, the capsule collection comes ten years after their first venture. First showcasing the collaboration at their Cruise 2023 runway, we can expect to see classic LV handbags with Kusama’s infamous polka-dot prints. The iconic monogramed styles of the luxury fashion house will be reimagined in new ways with Kusama’s artistic influence. 

The whole collaboration is so playful. The website allows viewers to interact with the art as the mouse tool transforms into a paintbrush, which allows you to paint polka-dots across the screen. Talk about painting the town red, Louis Vuitton has painted the whole city of Tokyo in polka-dots. Tokyo Tower and Shiba Park are included in the collaborative revamp, and if that’s not able to gain hype, we don’t know what would. Pop-up art exhibitions have appeared in the city and digital billboards show the anticipated collaboration. The incredible idea of transforming the capital of the artist’s home, celebrates the partnership as the city becomes an outdoor playground of art and fashion. We can’t rave about it enough and if we were to describe it in one word, it would be fun! Keep your eyes peeled this month for the drop of the Louis Vuitton x Yayoi Kusama collaboration.

Ganni x Ester Manas – Cool And Fierce Collide

Scandinavian sleek meets luxury inclusivity. This collaboration designed for Summer 23 has been kept quite quiet. We were able to receive a sneaky peak during the showing of Ester Manas’s ‘Sunset Body’ collection, and that was enough to have us hooked. This is a fashion partnership which we are very excited to view and are hoping to see more clues in the coming weeks as to what this collection will entail.

What do we know? We know Ganni creates minimalist, cool styles which push the boundaries of street style. We know Ester Manas focuses on body empowerment and inclusivity, producing fierce designs which embody their focus. Their ‘Sunset Body’ collection for beach and swimwear remained true to their brand ethos and featured sexy pieces in radiant colours of pinks, limes and oranges. So, we can imagine the collaboration will not neglect either brand voice and find strength together. As for the clothing, both brands are very different in their style and this is exciting to think about what they will produce. We do predict it will be an incredible partnership and benefit both parties involved.
