Every year, the Prada show is shrouded in secrecy as we await one of the most anticipated shows of the season. And this season, the Italian giant welcomed us into their effortlessly cool and chic home.

Greeting us in the front row of their Fondazione Prada base were the A-list guests in full: Rosalia, Kylie Jenner, Hunter Schafer, and Emma Watson, amongst many others. Co-creative directors Miuccia Prada and Raf Simmons worked hard on their womenswear SS24 collection– and in it, they gave us the minimalist and elegant uniform we need to hustle as hard as they do.

But this time, their workwear attire and signature ugly chic aesthetic had an element of fun. Layered fringes, distressed floral patterns, and golden foil joined the otherwise monochrome colour palette. A master atjuxtaposition, Prada contrasted its signature boxy silhouettes with delicate pastel-toned organzapieces.

For their Menswear SS24 follow-up show, you didn’t know what to gawk at first; the front row, the chic clothes, or the slime leaking from the ceiling.

Diesel

Expectations are sky-high when you’re on top, but somehow Glenn Martens met them once again. The ‘Only For The Brave’ collection lived up to its name as guests braved the rain to watch Diesel’s latest show. But that didn’t stir them from cheering and hollering as models walked through the Scalo Farini rail yard space (where Gucci used to show).

The 7,000 people rager got especially loud when they thought Bella Hadid finally made her big runway reemergence, only to discover it was a lookalike model. But the triumphant return that really did happen was last year’s viral belt skirt– only this time it was half transparent. The naked look was a common theme too, with tight silhouettes in nude colours and underwear-gracing hemlines.

Although Martens did adopt trends like the ‘sheer dress’ and micro skirts, brand signatures also made an appearance. Denim-on-denim-on-denim was the name of the show, as trousers were triple-layered and the material distressed to the point of destruction. Some of the garments also had parodied movie posters (i.e. Batman) stamped on them. So much was going on, and yet the whole collection was somehow cohesive. Through an acid-washed and muddied colour palette, shredded jersey, and thrashed tuxedos, Martens created the ultimate stylish wardrobe for the apocalypse. Although the weather predictions proved awry, the forecast for today’s coolest brand is still positive: it is the moment.

Blumarine

If Diesel styled us for the apocalypse, Blumarine dressed us for heaven. Purity and romance shone a light on the usually Y2K-focused brand, with angel hues like violet, gold, and pristine white.

Early aught stapes including tube tops, ultra-low waists, and wrap dresses still sneaked in an appearance though. And just in case you missed the theme, Nicola Brognano sent models down the runway with feathered wings on their backs. But those weren’t the wings stealing the show; Blumarine’s signature butterflies were everywhere from brooches, corsages, knitted patterns, and even as a devilish underwear bottom.

This pop of mischief was sprinkled even more with the black skin-tight silhouettes, plastic dresses with metallic studs, and sheer material. With exquisite tailoring, tulle materials, and whimsy floor-sweeping gowns, Blumarine gave us an unexpected sophistication to their usual nostalgia, with an ethereal collection that beckons us to the light side.

If the fashion world is praying to angels above, this season they’re bound to be dressed in Blumarine.

For their SS24 show, Giuliano and Giordano Calza replaced their usually bright and cheeky clothes with softer colours and more sophisticated designs. But they didn’t ditch their signature salaciousness altogether, showing barely-there shorts, tiny bras, exposed thongs, and plenty of sheer tank tops.

Mia Khalifa and Alessandra Ambrosio watched from the front row as Calza turned up the notch on the Canadian tuxedo, presenting denim trench coats, mini dresses, and even knee-high boots. Inspired by the Calzas’ hometown of Naples, designs were also filled with Italian motifs and sailor stripes that had us dreaming of summering on the coast.

The brand didn’t shy away from that European luxe either, delightfully surprising us all by closing the show with very off-brand sequinned, voluminous evening gowns. This refinement was also obvious in the monochrome suits, structured sweaters, and silk trousers. A preppy element was injected into the show too, with shirts that read ‘TI AMO GCDS” and oversized varsity jackets that have us wanting to enrol in college to justify buying them.

Although this was an unexpected collection for the label, it still didn’t disappoint. When in doubt, choose GCDS.

Tom Ford

How do you replace Tom Ford at Tom Ford? Just ask Peter Hawkings. After working in close-knit with the designer himself for over 25 years, Hawkings presented his debut collection for the eponymous brand. And even if the name behind the brand is retired, the collection was Ford to its very core.

‘Glamour, sexiness, elegances, and beauty’, in Hawkings’ own words. It was nothing disruptive but that wasn’t the point. It was a consistent reinforcement of the high-quality staples the brand is famous for, from the reinvention of Ford’s iconic 1996 belt buckle to the shirts unbuttoned past their navel. The colour palette was just as consistent, full of brown, cream, and black, with a brief interlude of pastel pink and blue hues.

The show even homogenised men and womenswear, sending both genders down the runway in velvet suits and shiny mock croc. Before the British designer took the reigns the brand was in a ‘Parent Trap’ style situation, with Hawkings leading menswear from London and Ford womenswear from LA. Although the tiny shorts that were stars of the show were worn exclusively by the female models, it’s clear that the Tom Ford woman is approximating the man and vice versa. After establishing so strongly the brand’s codes into his SS24 collection, we can’t wait to see how Hawkings adds his own flair in the future.

Halle Bailey

Halle Bailey, who was revealed to be playing the lead role in 2019, stole the show in this white gown from Miss Sohee. The sweeping dress featured diamond-encrusted panels, mesh sides, and tulle ruffles. She matched the bedazzled straps with her sparkling diamond headpiece and stuck to the under-the-sea theme with some pearl earrings. 

AJ Odudu

The TV host looked stunning in this gold metallic bodice from Graham Cruz Studio. She paired it with a maxi skirt with a long slit to show off her gold strappy heels, and she tied everything together with gold jewellery and a black mani-pedi.

Simone Ashley

The Bridgestone actress, who plays one of Ariel’s sisters in the movie, wore this Victoria Beckham FW23 collection dress to the premiere. The nude dress featured many slits and mesh fabric, clearly taking notes from the naked dress trend. She paired it with platform silver heels, gold jewellery, and deep indigo eyeshadow. 

Stefflon Don

It was a family outing for Stefflon Don, who brought her nieces and sister to the blue carpet. Styled by our very own Jyoti, Steff and Shemara wore showstopping green and purple matching chiffon dresses from Millia London, with matching chunky crystal necklaces and earrings. 

Melissa McCarthy

Melissa McCarthy looked far from her supervillain character Ursula as she walked the red carpet in this hot pink ensemble. The Edwardianstyle maxi dress featured a high-neck collar, puffy sleeves, ruffles, and a train. She accessorised with diamonds from Gismondi and pink iridescent boots with a huge platform. 

Sienna King

Playing another of Ariel’s sisters, Sienna attended the premiere in this futuristic ruched dress from the Feben FW23 collection. She paired the dress with a dainty pearl necklace and wore her hair slicked back to let her outfit take the spotlight. 

Jourdan Dunn

Jourdan was channelling her inner mermaid with this blue knitted maxi dress, with the woven pattern resembling scales. The semi-transparent dress featured long sleeves, a high slit, and a cut-out neckline adorned with a pearl. She paired the dress with strappy heels and layered necklaces, and wore her hair in beachy waves. 

Montanna Brown

Love Island alum Montana attended the premiere with her fiancé, Mark O’Connor, showing off her baby bump in this Rotate Birger Christensen dress. The checkerboard dress featured large cutouts on her midriff and thigh, lace up details, and a bright red interior. She paired it with classic white heels and a white manicure to match. 

Sabrina Elba

Attending without her husband, Idris, Sabrina looked stunning in this khaki maxi dress from Saint Laurent. The dress featured spaghetti straps, ruching, and a plunging neckline. She opted for no necklace but added some shine with a large gold bangle and dramatic gold earrings, while keeping it low-key on her feet with some flat sandals. 

Nifè 

The Tiktok star took the mermaid theme to a whole new level, wearing this insane dress featuring a cream bandeau top, a green and blue puffy train, and ornate gemstone embroidery. The silky dress matched her signature blue hair and brows perfectly, and she accessorised with simple silver jewellery and diamanté heels.

Lil Nas X

Lil Nas X took inspiration from Doja Cat’s iconic Schiaparelli look, arriving entirely unrecognisable. The nine-hour transformation was done by Pat McGrath, who was also behind Doja Cat’s bedazzled look. With Swarovski crystals and pearls attached over a layer of silver body paint, all he actually wore was an embellished thong, a face mask, and platform boots. 

Janelle Monáe 

Janelle Monáe’s series of looks began with a dramatic black and white asymmetric overcoat from Thom Browne and a white leather bag shaped like a cat (of course). She then shed her coat to reveal a black mesh naked dress over a sequinned black bikini. The structured hoop dress was lined with rows of diamanté, and her bikini straps were adorned with pearls. 

Jenna Ortega

Jenna Ortega was another star dressed by Thom Browne last night, giving a nod to Karl with this collared shirt under her dress. Channelling her onscreen persona Wednesday Addams, her gothic high-low corset dress was made of tweed and featured gold chains of pearls wrapped around the skirt and train. 

Doja Cat

Doja cat took her name to the next level, dressing up as Karl Lagerfeld’s cat Choupette and meowing when interviewed by Emma Chamberlain on the red carpet. Her flowing gown, by Oscar De La Renta, featured a feathered train and a sequin hood with cat ears. She accessorised with a metallic headpiece and diamond rings, claw-like nails, and prosthetics— a great effort for her first Met ball. 

Cardi B

Keeping it classy, Cardi B went for a shirt and tie under her gigantic black dress from Chenpeng Studio. The dress was covered in Chamelia flowers, representing the house of Chanel and Karl in one look. Not her only look of the evening, Cardi left her hotel in a dramatic pink corset dress with a huge peacock-style back from Miss Sohee, which she changed out of ahead of the red carpet. 

Teyana Taylor

Another celebrity dressed in Thom Browne, Teyana Taylor reinvented the tweed suit with this low-rise cutout maxi skirt with stitches up the side and a dramatic train. Her suit jacket included built-in gloves and a classic Karl Lagerfeld shirt and tie. She accessorised with a Chamelia bag and a netted veil over her sunglasses. 

Rita Ora

Rita Ora embraced the naked dress trend in this gothic mesh Prabal Gurung off-the-shoulder gown with an extremely long floral train. Embroidered with black flowers and featuring a matching floral choker, Rita paid homage to Karl, with the chains and pearls hanging from her elaborate acrylic nails. 

Anne Hathaway

As the new face of Versace, Anne wore this custom dress designed by Donatella, which incorporated tweed and chamelia through the design and texture. The dress’ high slit separated two sections held together with safety pins, a reference to Versace SS94, and these were adorned with pearls to link to Chanel. 

Elle Fanning

Elle Fanning looked stunning in this Vivienne Westwood bridal gown that paid tribute to her first ever fashion show, walking in Chanel’s FW11 haute couture collection. She carried a bouquet of daisies and wore a daisy flower crown to signify the way Karl styled her for the Little Black Jacket book, and she accessorised with a 1955 Cartier coffee bean necklace similar to the one Grace Kelly wore.

Presenting Chris Appleton with the Hair Artist of the Year Award, Kim Kardashian wore a grey two-piece Rick Owens set with René Caovilla metallic sandals and accessorised with a vintage Dior metallic choker from 2003. She was joined by her daughter, TikTok star North West, who wore a black satin suit and chunky Dolce and Gabbana boots. 

Miley Cyrus revealed her new brown hair on the red carpet and wore a custom black satin corset and leather midi skirt from Atelier Versace, along with black leather opera gloves. 

Teyana Taylor killed it in this dramatic Mônot gown with a stripe-structure bustier, long leather opera gloves, and a wrap skirt with a flowing train. We can’t forget about the accessories; she wore square sunglasses with a beaded chain, a diamond necklace, and a metallic lip cuff.

Josie Canseco channelled Cher Horowitz with this barely-there Alaïa leather jacket and pencil skirt. She finished off the look with a Chanel chain necklace, Chanel earrings, and black strappy heels. 

Candice Lambert wore this industrial shift dress from Rick Owens, consisting of a metallic zipper, chain, and eyelet details. She paired it with blue eyeshadow, a black micro purse, and chunky platform boots. 

Meghann Fahy, who you may recognise from the White Lotus, was nominated for Breakout Style Star of the Year and wore black Valentino high-waisted flared trousers and a bralette with bow detail. She covered up with a floor-length tuxedo jacket. 

Gwyneth Paltrow winning Powerhouse Brand of the Year while wearing her own brand is truly iconic. She showed off her toned midriff in a custom G. Label by Goop pale pink cropped blouse and matching tailored trousers. 

Ava Dash wore this beautiful blue silk slip dress from Alice and Olivia with contrast orange lace. She kept it simple with minimal jewellery and nude Manolo Blahniks. 

Elle Fanning wore this classy look consisting of a red lip, baggy black trousers, and a dramatic scarf-neck cream blouse from Givenchy. 

Emma Brooks looked stunning in this lime green satin dress from Fendi. She kept it classy with a diamond necklace and black court shoes. 

Babyface looked dapper, layering a black and white graffiti suit from Alexander McQueen over a simple black tee and pairing it with sneakers and shades. 

Host for the evening, celebrity stylist Law Roach kept it simple with pin-straight hair, a black suit from Fear of God, and accessorised with patent shoes and a diamond cross necklace. 

Sohni Ahmed wore this ruffled black floor-length gown from Blumarine, pairing it with a bedazzled Blumarine shoulder bag and large diamond-cross earrings. 

Presenting the award for designer of the year, Brie Larson matched the red carpet in this romantic sequin and lace gown from Rodarte. 

Olay Noel went for a monochromatic statement look, wearing a brown suit jacket, straight-leg trousers, and brown platform boots. She accessorised with an abstract silver choker, bracelet, and ring. 

Kat Graham wore a fitting black maxi skirt, black opera gloves, and a black bralette, wearing minimal jewellery besides dramatic black earrings. 

Alessandra Ambrosio looked angelic in this Mônot shirt dress with a super high leg, accessorising with a trio of silver chokers, a silver metallic bag, and silver strappy heels.

In March 2023, H&M and Mugler shared a music video featuring musicians Amaarae, Shygirl, Eartheater, and Arca performing a remixed version of the 1998 hit song ‘Music Sounds Better With You’, commissioned especially for the collaboration. The original song, by French band Stardust, has been reworked to match the high-energy video, flicking through scenes of models walking through walls, a talk show scene with Casey Cadwallader, the brands’ logos on the Empire State Building, and the singers performing to a filled stadium. This also gave fans the first real look at the collection, with models wearing tailored suits, corsets, cut-out tops, catsuits, star jewellery, mesh trousers, tights, and glitter.

We got to see the collection on supermodels and Mugler muses on Wednesday night, as over 800 guests gathered at the Park Avenue Armory in NYC for the collaboration party. There was music, performance, and, of course, fashion to celebrate the launch of the new collection. Celebrities who had featured in Mugler lookbooks and campaigns made appearances dressed head-to-toe in H&M x Mugler, with the overall aesthetic consisting of a lot of black, satin, and mesh, with silver rhinestone and star details. 

There were individual musical performances from the stars of the music video before they came together to perform the signature song ‘Music Sounds Better With You’. 

There was also a catwalk show featuring models like Paloma Elsesser, Irina Shayk, and Eva Herzivoga, while dancers performed in embellished catsuits. The afterparty featured multiple DJ sets and was a nod to the Mugler house, celebrating dance and club culture. “It was the ideal celebration of the Mugler H&M collection and the perfect way to welcome people into our world— an unforgettable night built around freedom, personal expression, and liberating, bold fashion,” Casey Cadwallader said after the event. 

This is not the first time H&M has done something like this. Previously, the Scandinavian brand has collaborated with Simone Rocha, Giambattista Valli, Moschino, and Erdem, always selling out. A core aspect of these collabs are the elaborate launch parties, like the 2015 Balmain party with a catwalk show, a performance from the Backstreet Boys, and celebrities like Kylie and Kendall Jenner, Karlie Kloss, and Gigi Hadid in attendance.

Butterfly Eyes

Are we still on the pink hype? You betcha! This next look incorporates shimmery pink eyeshadow that isn’t just in Frankie eyes, but below them and on her cheeks too! She’s gone for a duochhrome blush moment and the results are irresistible. 

Her look almost resembles a butterfly. The arched winged navy blue eyeliner hugs her eyelids and the shimmering eyeshadow that continues on the corner of her under eye. 

To create the arched wing, Frankie starts off with black eyeshadow as a base and then goes in with some liquid eyeliner to bring the pigment and sheen look. She then applies some shimmery eyeshadow in shades navy blue and pink on her eyelid as well as using the same colour on her cheeks and under eye. 

For this look we recommend using the Mac Pro Palette eyeshadow for your base of the eyeliner and the Lancôme Artliner Eye Liner for a super wet and liquid eyeliner finish.

Vamp Soft Glam

Frankie has called this next look the Vamp Soft Glam and we can see why. This look is all about the red eyeliner, dramatic and sharp just like a pair of fangs. To create this look Frankie has used a mixture of crayon eyeliner and red eyeshadow to create the blurred but still highly pigmented look. 

We think that the Barry M Hi Vis Bold Eyeliner or the NYX Professional Longwear Line Matte Lip Liner would be ideal for this look. Lip liner and crayon eyeliner are both perfect products to use when creating a look like this as they are smooth and long lasting. It may sound alternative to recommend a lip liner for a eyeliner look but trust us, it can work.

For the red eyeshadow that goes on top, Revolution does a lovely palette that has an array of red shades which would be perfect if you haven’t yet decided how red you want to go. They also include a shimmery red in the Beetlejuice X Revolution Strange and Unusual palette that could be a subtle adaptation to this look. 

Alternatively if a ruby true red is what you’re after, the Nars eyeshadow in the shade Fatale is perfect for this look. It’s lovely cherry red and would look killer when worn in eyeliner form.

To make the eyeshadow look blurred and a little smokey simply blend it out with your finger or eyeshadow brush to create that hue look.

Frankie then finishes the look with a black mascara. This look is very striking and one we will be trying out asap.

This next look looks like it’s straight off the runway. Frankie has gone ultraviolet and it looks incredible. She has gone in with a classic extended winged eyeliner combined with sprinkles of ultraviolet eyeshadow dotted around her eye. This look is totally mesmerising and one that we think is runway worthy. 

Frankie glass and natural looking skin is what allows this make up look to pop! She has used the Milk Makeup Bionic Bronzer and the Espressoh Glassy Blush on her face. She then uses the Sigma Beauty gel liner and the Karla Cosmetics Insomnia pigment eyes for those ultraviolet eyes. Her eyes look ethereal and are stunning. 

By making her eyeliner longer than usual and with a sharp point at the end it accentuates her eyes and adds a daring and sassy dynamic to the make up look.

Flames

Our final look had to be something special, and what’s more fiery than some blue flames? 

This look is super creative and arty so if you’re in the mood for something a little different, this one could be right for you. 

For this look you’re going to want to have a blue and black liquid eyeliner handy and some striking blue lipgloss to match.

We recommend trying out the flames on paper first as they can be fiddly to do. Don’t be disheartened if you don’t get it right the first time, they are a little harder than some of the other looks we’ve included, but we promise the hard work will pay off. 

For this look, liquid eyeliner is your best bet at recreating these magnificent flames. Pharrell Williams, the newly appointed Creative Director of Louis Vuitton, was one of the biggest names used to promote the Moncler Genius event that took place on Monday night. Pharrell took to the red carpet with a thick khaki blanket wrapped around his shoulders, on its own, this just seems to be a quirky accessory from a fashion-forward individual. Maybe the Hollywood superstar hasn’t adjusted to the British climate? But just half an hour after the Moncler Genius event opened, Burberry’s models began their trip down the runway. 

When Burberry declared that they intended to grow their accessories profit by over 50% under Daniel Lee’s creative direction, we don’t think anyone really knew how they were planning on doing that. We assumed that there would be a lot of elaborate accessories, handbags and hats, we never thought that the answer would be hot water bottles. Expanding their accessories towards more domestic items sounds like a simple way to increase this revenue. The viral Versace bathrobes retail for £520 and are extremely popular despite the fact that they are not items that you really get to wear in public; hot water bottles fit into this niche category of luxury accessory.

However, we cannot help but feel that there is more to this development than meets the eye. Why didn’t this trend of high-fashion domestic accessories hit when everybody was at home during the Covid-19 pandemic? Why now? Well, all signs point to one thing, this is yet another example of fashion glamorising poverty, using indicators of social class as trend items, the rich yet again cosplay as the poor. We are currently in the midst of a cost-of-living crisis, many families have been left unable to heat their homes, hot water bottles and blankets will be how they stay warm during the winter months. But here we have luxury fashion houses presenting this crisis as a ‘trend’ or ‘aesthetic’.

While you could try to put a more positive spin on these events by arguing that this promotes alternative ways of staying warm rather than using up fossil fuels and contributing to the climate crisis, we think we know better than to assume this. We have seen various instances in the past where the fashion industry has latched on to various indicators of social class and turned them into trends; in 2023 its ‘cool’ to be cold.

Lunadira – ‘Go Slow’

With her orange bob and purple tulle gown Malaysia-based artist Lunadira looked like a pretty jellyfish as she swayed on the turquoise Colors stage singing her groovy single ‘Go Slow’. The video of the performance was released on the 27^th January and the R&B singer, whose real name is Kuala Lumpur, made history as the first Malaysian artist to feature on the show. Sleek, sedate, and sensual, in ‘Go Slow’ Lunadira ignores the advice given to her and coolly replies “Since when do I do what I’m told?” giving us goosebumps with her defiant energy. 

Flower.far – ‘Walk Away’

Thai R&B pop singer Flower.far gave a dreamy performance on the Colors Show beginning with soft delicate vocals that gave way to a powerful and flourishing style. The video for the performance of ‘Walk Away’, Far’s latest single, debuted on the 23^rd January. Far looked at home on the orange Colors stage in a beige deconstructed two-piece that displayed femininity in all its ruffly asymmetrical-ness. Considering her debut single was only released in May last year it’s amazing how honed the singer sound is already. 

GloRilla – ‘Out Loud Thinking’

If you’ve yet to hear of the rising Memphis star with a big attitude GloRilla, where have you been hiding? The next leading trap rap artist has had a few stellar months: currently, she’s halfway through a US tour, she’s rapped alongside Cardi B, and charted with her EP Anyways, Life Is Great. Her track ‘F.N.F. (Let’s Go)’ also achieved viral success on TikTok and a nomination for best rap performance at the Grammy’s where she looked glam in a black and white sparkly gown and met her idol Beyoncé. She garnered a lot of support from the music world with her Colors performance, which has now received over half a million views since its release in early December. On the show, she delivered a sharp performance of the last track on her latest EP ‘Out Loud Thinking’ in her distinctive low-pitched style. Glo looks steezy and laidback as always with her sleek blonde ‘do and black and pink accented athletic gear against the red background. 

Jamilah Barry – ‘If The Love Goes’

London-based artist Jamilah Barry blew us away when she collabed with Nigerian-British producer P2J to perform ‘If the Love Goes’ on the Colors show back in December. Starting without any accompaniment the singer demonstrated her amazing tone then when P2J comes in with a rhythmic beat with jazzy saxophone Jamilah jams to the instrumentals delivering sweet effortless vocals as she tells her partner she’s leaving them. The performance is the second that the neo-soul singer has made on the Colors show having performed her track ‘Cut Me Open’ back in 2021. Jamilah looked regal in a royal blue one-sleeved bodycon dress that popped against the orange stage. As Jamilah released her debut EP Romance Me over 2 years ago, we’re hoping she’ll release some new material on streaming soon.

Mỹ Anh – Mỗi Khi Anh Nhìn Em’

The latest video on the Colors channel is from Vietnamese singer-songwriter and producer Mỹ Anh whose performance of her latest single ‘Mỗi Khi Anh Nhìn Em’ (‘Every time I Look at You’) was posted on the 6^thFebruary. Looking like an adorable buttercup in a bright yellow quilt textured dress that matched with the stage, Mỹ Anh gave a flawlessly smooth performance of the sugary R&B song. We’re obsessed with Mỹ Anh’s vocals as well as the brass section on this track that make it feel so grand. Also, her bow earrings and hairstyle that match the ginormous bow on her dress are just too cute.

We are totally obsessed with her eyeliner; it is simple but sassy as it flatters the shape of Cardi’s eye and has a small feline flick at the end.

You asked for boldness, well Lizzo delivered! She really does make a convincing argument in favour of highly pigmented and flushed beauty looks and honestly, we are so here for it.  

The singer wore a flurry of pink across her lips, cheeks, and eyes all in a similar shade. Her almost resembles the new pink-setting powder trend we’ve seen recently where influencers are setting their make-up with pink-setting powder or making their blusher more prominent, this look feels like an adaptation to that trend.

Our next jaw-dropping look from the 2023 Grammy Awards is one styled by Bebe Rexha. If anyone at the awards was an advocate for pink blush it’s this chick.  

She wore a flattering hot pink Moschino Gown with matching gloves that matched her pink, rosy blush perfectly. The blusher is really the main feature of this makeup look as it looks so natural, effortless, and sweet. We couldn’t talk about the Grammy and not mention Adele, could we? Course not! Adele brought her elegance and charisma to the Grammys this year like she does every year and styled an old Hollywood look that included rose gold eyeshadow and muted coral lips. 

Her hair was gorgeously styled in a blowout form. Her dress accompanied her make-up alongside her nails perfectly, this look was meant to be.  

Her make-up matched her look perfectly and we are totally obsessed. Laverne Cox

We’ve saved one of the best looks until last. Laverne Cox had a Cleopatra moment on the red carpet as she styled a gold look that had gold detailing not just on her clothes and accessories, but within her makeup and hair too.  

She styled bold bambi eyeliner and gold foils on her eyelids alongside a nude lip combo. She branded the front of her hair and tied a gold hair tie around her braids at eye length.  

The eye look is incredible and one of the most creative make-up looks we’ve seen on the red carpet. It’s very glam and full of energy so, of course, we fell in love with it instantly.  

This gold foil look was created by Deja Smith and can be done at home with either glittery gold liquid eyeliner or by using foils as Deja has.
