‘Nightmare On Elm Street’ But Make It Glam! Kylie Cosmetics Drops A New Collection

Kylie Jenner announced her new Kylie Cosmetics collection, coming out on October 12th, on Instagram, sharing a video of herself nude dripping in fake blood. The makeup mogul decided to celebrate Halloween this year by collaborating with none other than the iconic horror film, ‘Nightmare on Elm Street’.

In spirit of the spooky season, she dressed up in a red pattern catsuit inspired by Freddy Krueger, the movie’s villain. She completed her look with pulled back hair and sleek bangs separated into four parts; and of course, metallic claws to reference Freddy’s knife-finger glove. Kris Jenner and Khloe Kardashian hyped her up in the comments section as “the Halloween queen”.

The ‘Nightmare on Elm Street’ collection features a pressed powder palette with 12 stunning shades including mattes, metallics and glitters – the perfect variety for your Halloween makeup. They’re all highly pigmented, soft and easy to blend, coming at a price of $30.

There’s also a lip shine lacquer, available in three different shades – wild crimson red, pink nude and deep red wine – and a brand-new lip and cheek jelly stain. “This is a brand-new formula that we’ve never done, I thought it’d be fun to introduce this in this collection since it is very bloody but it’s a lip and cheek jelly stain that has a really cool texture and looks really light and pretty on the lips. It just gives a nice wash of colour…or your cheeks” said Kylie about the product on her stories.

If you thought she only covered lips and eyeshadow for Halloween, don’t worry she made sure to step up your eyelash game too. The collection includes kylashes pre-cut in four segments with a clear band, giving you a seamless blend with your natural lash line. In her most recent story highlights she shared: “I love pre-cut lashes, so I wanted to do these pre-cut lashes for you guys. They’re so soft. They look so pretty on the eye, and I just love being able to customize my own lash.”

She emphasised that all products are vegan and cruelty free, something she has been committed to ever since she launched the makeup line.

The Kylie x ‘Nightmare on Elm Street’ will be available to shop on October 12th at 3pm PST. With millions of Freddy fans and Halloween freaks in line, make sure to get your own spooky makeup!
