The Harris Reed x Missoma collection is now available at Selfridges Manchester and Missoma online! Returning from London Fashion Week as one of the most talked-about designers, Harris Reed is entering into the jewellery space in collaboration with London-based brand, Missoma. Spotted during the celebrated Harris Reed show, pieces from the collection were incorporated into the elaborate couture fantasy.

Launching this month, the 49-piece demi-fine collection and 15-piece fine capsule reconsiders Gothic heirlooms and vintage trinkets to become pieces of fluidity and inclusivity. As a gender-fluid fashion designer, Reed wanted to create a collection inspired for everyone. Initially, this idea manifested itself in the dual-gender butterfly – a symbol of fluidity, rebirth, and freedom. The demi-fine pieces are crafted from recycled sterling silver, recycled 18ct gold vermeil and gold plating. The collection’s fine jewellery is refined in 14ct solid recycled gold, blue sapphire and conflict-free white and black diamonds.

”This is my way of being able to give everyone a little bit of the Harris Reed fantasy”, Harris Reed.

The opulence and excitement present in Harris Reed’s designs transfer to the beautiful collection. Heavy stones, delicate pearls, mindful details, fluidity, symbolism and alluring simplicity are sprinkled across the collection. The array of styles and designs across earrings, necklaces, rings and bracelets ensures there is a product for everyone which can be easily worn as part of an abundance of heavy, layered pieces, or worn more delicately as an individual, single piece.

Missoma’s CEO and creative director, Marisa Hordern, explains ‘this collection is all about acceptance and inclusivity through our deeply symbolic pieces, given the romantic opulence and gothic chic that comes with all things Harris.’ Harris Reed also explains his role in making the collection a more accessible aspect of dreamy couture gowns: ‘as a designer who mostly works with demi-couture and VIP clients, not everyone can buy a Harris Reed gown. But they can have a Harris Reed x Missoma gold necklace or ring to keep for years and years to come. This is my way of being able to give everyone a little bit of the Harris Reed fantasy.’
