Diesel Launch Mystery

Being released on the 8th of October 2024 is collab of the year, Savage X Diesel. Teased on Instagram three days ago, this collaboration between two fashion favourites is set to dominate October.
From sneak peak at the design stage on Instagram, these new looks combine sexy and fun, allowing loungewear to be redefined in these new designs. Stepping into the archives that inspired the new collection are iconic old school Diesel pieces that showcase denim, rips, mesh, and acid wash in an ode to the 90s.

These blue and denim edits can be seen in essence in the new Savage X collection with the first design appearing to have a light washed blue material.

Lavish Lace

Look lavish all over with Savage X Fenty’s new collection placing lace at the forefront, merging intricacies and intimacy. The new collection dropped both online and in-store on 28th September, showcasing exquisite silhouettes in opulent shades.

Sassy and bold have been catered for in bright pops of Topaz Yellow, Purple Passionfruit, and Purple Gem, while Rhianna’s Savage X Fenty staple shades of nudes and the new Dark & Stormy Blue have also been given the lacey treatment.

And a little decadence goes a long way; the Lavish Lace collection features a gorgeous all-over floral pattern suited for special occasions or feeling sexy every day, and a flirty yet subtle “X” logo charm in front.

The Halloween Edit

Also new to Savage X Fenty this October is their Halloween shop, giving all- Halloween fits and inspo to keep you sexy this spooky season.
New shades, Purple Persuasion, Black Caviar / Purple Metallic, and Sugarplum Purple / Purple Passionfruit Metallic are taking over tried and true designs so you know you can feel good… and bad this October.

You might not know her name yet, but you’ve seen her work. If the J Lo X Shakira Super Bowl halftime show doesn’t ring any bells, then maybe you remember the iconic ‘Yummy’ music video by Justin Bieber; or maybe it’s the Savage x Fenty shows that sound familiar to you. Watching them, you might’ve wondered who the person behind those daring dance moves was. The answer, Parris.

Some people are born with a purpose; after watching Missy Elliot and Madonna dancing on TV, 5-year-old Goebel discovered hers, dance. ‘I’ve always been pretty confident in my dreams and where I see my future heading, so it didn’t take me very long to identify what I wanted to be when I grew up.’ she said in a 2017 interview. The New Zealand native dropped out of high school at just 15 to pursue her calling, forming a dance crew, Royal Family, and uploading herself on Youtube.

Her small troupe went on to win the World Hip Hop Dance Championship an unprecedented three times in a row.

After having worked with KPOP star CL in 2016, she popped up on Jennifer Lopez’s radar, which led to Parris choreographing Lopez’s world tour at just 19 years old. Her signature sassy and aggressive dance style (‘polyswagg’) broke the rising star into the industry as celebrities followed J Lo’s cue. Now, the 28-year-old has Ariana Grande, SZA, BLACKPINK, Janet Jackson, Nicki Minaj, and Justin Bieber on her roster. Oh yeah, and Justin’s iconic ‘Sorry’ music video a.k.a. one of the most viewed videos on Youtube? She choreographed that too. As if that wasn’t enough, she was also behind Rihanna’s iconic Super Bowl half time show this year.

After spending so much of her career as the industry’s best-kept backstage secret, Parris is finally stepping into the spotlight. She signed with IMG Models in 2018 and has since worked with giants like Dior and Alexander McQueen. She ‘polyswagged’ her way through a New York Fashion Week 2022 and became the face of UGG’s Spring campaign that same year. The star also recently co-hosted the NIKE Goddess experience after becoming a brand ambassador two years ago. And fashion’s not the only place Goebler’s leaving her mark: she’s released one music album, two books, choreographed two dance cult movies ( StepUp: All In), and received the New Zealand Order of Merit, and an EMMY

But Parris didn’t start as an Emmy and MTV award-winning artist. She, like a lot of us, started with an impossible dream, wild determination, and unsupervised access to the Internet. In a recent Instagram post, Goebel’s wrote ‘As you climb the mountain of your dreams, you will be greatly challenged…but your passion, strength and LOVE for what you do will override anything standing in your way.’ And that she did. With a career like this, there’s no doubt she’s the newest MVP in the entertainment world (and all our FYPs). Wherever she goes next, one thing’s for certain: Parris is living up to her name.

The Fenty Lovestruck Set:

The Fenty Lovestruck set is your Valentine’s dream come true. The three-piece set of a lacy red long sleeve bra top, open back bikini underwear and a garter skirt speaks for itself and offers something a little bit different from the usual lingerie set. The best part about this piece is the heart cut-out detail on the chest that adds a bit of a Valentine’s theme into the look while creating a really flattering neckline. As we didn’t want to take away from this amazing detail we decided against a necklace and instead paired this look with the Large Matrix Heart Hoops to tie in with cut-out. Then we added a sparkling Tennis Bracelet to the wrist to accentuate the sleeveless detail on the catsuit.

The Fenty Renaissance Rose Set:

The Renaissance Rose set is subtle and chic and the perfect set to incorporate into your wardrobe if you don’t want anything too gimmicky. To tie in with this look we opted for more minimalist jewellery, pairing it with the Stilla stud earrings and Heart Pendant. These match the delicate look of the Renaissance Rose set as well bringing out the red details of the rosebuds.

The Fenty Butterfly Wings Lace & Mesh Teddy:

You can’t go wrong with a bodysuit and the Fenty Butterfly Wings Lace & Mesh Teddy is no exception. The dark yet feminine look of this bodysuit is intricately detailed with the perfect balance of sheer black and pops of colour. Not to mention to extra detail that the shape of the lace actually looks like a butterfly! ]]> Possibly the most highly anticipated fashion show since FW23 wrapped has finally dropped, and we can’t say we’re disappointed. Once again, Rihanna has brought forth some of the hottest, most innovative designs in both lingerie and sportswear presented in a mystical forest full of dancers, singers and a diverse assemblage of models. The first three renditions of the Savage X Fenty have all been wildly successful, culturally significant moments, but it’s volume 4 that we crown as the most surreal opus yet.

Rihanna showed off her curvy figure early in the show as she appeared to be reigning over her mystic forest kingdom. Looking as powerful as she does seductive, RiRi commanded attention atop a fallen tree trunk, moving to the beat in a busty blue corset with lace detailing, sheer black trousers, polka dot opera gloves, a voluminous afro and a gorgeous gold shimmer on her lips and eyes.

The show showcased extremely talented individuals donning the new collection. Don Toliver performed ‘way bigger’ from his 2021 sophomore album and debuted a new single that sampled ‘Take your time (do it right)’ by The S.O.S band. Maxwell performed a soulfully sweet rendition of his 1996 Grammy-nominated tune ‘Whenever Wherever Whatever’. Anitta, the Brazillian singer everyone’s obsessed with right now, showed off her incredible figure in a bra and thong under a black mesh bodysuit with a bdsm-inspired leather harness whilst performing her hit Practice & Envolver. Nigerian singer-songwriter-producer closed the performances with an eruptive production of his instant summer hit ‘Last Last’ followed by ‘It’s Plenty’ from his studio album ‘Love, Damini’. The artists represent themselves in physical and cartoon form, with effortless animated transitions adding to the dream-like experience.

Besides the clothes, the complex dance scenes and Emmy award-winning choreography exhibited throughout are breathtaking, extremely well created and performed. The dancing feels ritualistic and meaningful, with exciting prop use and powerful performances throughout.

As always, Rihanna included a wide variety of models of all genders, sizes, races and ages. Cara Delevigne flashed some flesh in a glimmering black lingerie set whilst surrounded by a sea of dancers connected by their pony braids. Zola star Taylour Paige delivered an unforgettable monologue that put the savage in Savage X Fenty. Abbot Elementary actress Sheryl Lee Ralph and Golden Globe-winning Empire Actress Taraji P. Henson proved that sexy had no age limit to the tune of the Ying Yang Twins’ Wait (The Whisper Song). Other notable guest appearances include Winston Duke, Precious Lee, Joan Smalls, Simu Liu, Bella Poarch and Lilly Singh.

People online are, of course, popping off about how great the show was, but Rihanna has caught some heat for her controversial inclusion of actor Johnny Depp with many claiming this goes against her brand’s core tenants of female empowerment.

]]> Rihanna is one of those oh so lucky – or unlucky – celebrities that exist in a perpetual state of relevance, no matter how little they engage with it. The exhausted legions of #Navy that feed on paparazzi scraps and stand to attention for Pon De Replay are one of the least enviable, most committed stans the world over, and we have nothing but respect for our troops!

Once in a while, these eternal flames will give us a little something and we’ll go absolutely rabid for it, and we’d be willing to bet the news of this new collection will be a chaos trigger. Whilst the collection doesn’t officially drop until the 9th of November, we’ve done our due diligence and got you covered on all the juicy details…

The new collection is yet another love child of Rihanna and American designer Adam Selman, another jewel in their illustrious history of collaborations together. Selman has previously been involved in some of the most iconic RiRi moments, such as the original Savage X Fenty capsule collection that launched Valentine’s 2020 and that infamous Swarovski naked dress moment that graced the 2014 CFDA Awards and pissed off the remaining two-thirds of TLC.

Functioning as the official executive design director for Savage X Fenty Sport, we have no doubt this new Selman and Rihanna collaboration will be yet another internet-breaking moment.

When asked by Vogue what we can expect from the new collection, Rhianna said: For me, it was about fit and fabric, and I let Adam play with everything else. The pieces are sexy and snatch you, but it’s functional and that’s what describes the whole Sport collection. Sexy. Functional. Fashion,’

The new collection is set to be a ‘perfect marriage’ of lingerie and activewear that’s unlike anything currently available. Features rumoured to be included in the collection are: sheer cut-outs and panels, punchy shades, breathable materials, silhouette-defining wardrobe staples and ‘X’ motifs.

If that isn’t hot shit enough for you, the campaign is a star-studded cast of oiled-up women in supreme form, amongst those: Supermodel Precious Lee, a very pregnant Joanna Pauline, Tiktok star Avani Gregg and all-round-baddie-martial-art-expert Nelita Villezon. The campaign video dropped today to nuclear reactions online and we can’t say we’re surprised – is that new music we hear?

]]> After being teased on Instagram, the highly-anticipated, third Savage x Fenty show is now available to watch on Prime Video! From incredible live performances from Bia and Nas, to Gigi Hadid’s unrecognizable makeover, fashionable lingerie, and icons like Cindy Crawford and Adriana Lima on the runway, you do not what to miss this spectacular show.

Opening with a modern burlesque-dance number, immediately this fashion show is like no other. The iconic, Cindy Crawford opens the show in a slinky, blue evening slip to vocals from Jade Novah. The scene then transitions through the hotel lift with Bia entering to perform the Tiktok-favourite, ‘Whole Lotta Money’. Her neon lace set, with reflective knee-high boots, is paired with layered chains and a stunning makeup look of sparkling green eyeshadow. This is the first of many outfits, makeup and hair looks we will be taking inspiration from!

Owning the show, Normani later enters in a green, lacy bodysuit and twisted up-do. She continues to wow in her live performance, along with a cast of dancers in matching boxer shorts with green snakeskin – is this a hint to Rihanna possibly releasing menswear also?

The King of Latin Pop, Ricky Martin even makes an appearance, performing on the catwalk in loose, baggy shorts and a quilted robe. Celebrity guests like Emily Ratajkowski and Vanessa Hudgens are spotted in the audience catwalk, styled in matching lace sets and chunky, stone necklaces. Daddy Yankee also took to the stage, performing in a sparkling tracksuit, with dancers in subverted, black bodysuits and fishnets.

Victoria’s Secret Angel, Adriana Lima had a solo campaign moment in the glass, rounded lift wearing another black lace set from Savage x Fenty and knee-high black boots. Fellow model, Gigi Hadid completely changed her look by wearing a choppy, brown hairdo and baby bangs when walking the runway in a checkered, glitter robe. Surrounded by dancers, models like Symone and Troye Sivan, looked ethereal walking along the outside catwalk to Missy Elliott’s ‘Conceited’. Finally, Rihanna became the star of the show in a red room, wearing a snakeskin, latex red playsuit with black lace tights surrounded by incredible performers in matching red lace underwear. Closing the presentation, dancers gather along with Rihanna to applaud the fashion show as the sun begins to rise, atop the hotel’s roof – a powerful close to such a spectacular show.

Filmed in The Westin Bonaventure Hotel in Los Angeles, the show’s location includes a spiraling walkway in the heart of the hotel, with numerous windows showing the city of LA and sultry, dim lighting within the rooms. Moving between pillars, through windows, and into elevators creates a constantly changing and exciting show, rather than display lingerie on a typical catwalk, Rihanna’s presentations make the garments come alive as part of a performance –  we are constantly looking to see who is wearing them, anticipating live performances, and looking out for Miss Rihanna herself.

The Savage x Fenty show has now become a staple of its very own fashion week. Due to its diverse casting, backed up with an exclusive size range, it is an empowering event not only for the models but the viewers also. The incredible dancers, artist performances, models, and celebrities feeling beautiful and confident extend beyond the screen to make us feel confident in our own skin.

Savage x Fenty is truly wearable by everyone and seeing people of all shapes look phenomenal in the garments proves, that with Rihanna’s support, we can all feel empowered when wearing lingerie.
