This week on Instagram celebrities are wearing some of the most sought-after styles, brands, and shapes that capture the cut-out trend to the T.

Maya Jama

Maya Jama took to Instagram in the ‘Cirque Cut Out Dress’ by Amy Shehab. This piece has an amazing plunge front detail, embellished with silver hoops and a figure hugging body con silhouette. Maya paired the dress with a pair of tie-up strappy sandals and thick silver hoops.This look is both sexy and elegant, perfect for post lockdown plans with the girls.

Mabel

Pictured on the streets of London in designer Sinead Gorey, Mabel’s off-duty look is one of the most sought-after silhouettes of the season. With amazing tie-up details all along the legs, creating a circle-themed pattern that shows off her figure. The jumpsuit itself is a blue tie-dye pattern and has a cute, comfortable racer neck. Mabel paired the piece with the Dior monogram high-top sneakers.

Kali Uchis

Kali Uchis wears a Khaki Louisa Ballou Cut-out swimsuit, the piece has such a unique asymmetric design with ruched detailing where the hoops meet. Paired with a denim skirt, a vintage Louis Vuitton monogram denim bag, and gold chunky earrings – proving that styling is key, and swimwear pieces can easily be dressed up.

Jorja Smith

Jorja Smith was bringing all the heat to Instagram this week in a cut-out red, leather co-ord set. The outfit was custom-made by 16Arlington for her VEVO performance. The pants are embellished with tie-up leg details with fringe creating elegant movement. Equally as mesmerising, the top has a one-shoulder silhouette and is completely asymmetrical. Elsa Hosk

Elsa Hosk took to Instagram in the Christopher Esber Ruched Disconnect Dress, giving off the illusion of a skirt/top co-ord because of it’s creative cut-out detailing at the waist. The piece has ruched detailing which compliments all shapes and a gorgeous satin finish that gives off a pearl effect. Elsa paired the piece with leather sandals, aviator sunglasses, and a Valentino leather bag.

Nathy Peluso

Kicking off her Calambre Tour, Nathy Peluso wore a custom jumpsuit by Syndical Chamber. The piece features a printed, figure-enhancing shapewear design in a deep red tone. On the neckline, there’s an asymmetric cut-out detail which adds an extra element of Fuego. Nathy Peluso creatively added a Playboy dangle belly ring to the look. Unfortunately, the jumpsuit is custom made and unavailable to purchase but we’ve put together a look that aligns with the trend and is bound to turn heads this SS21 – with the Jean Paul Gaultier ‘Safe Sex Forever’ top which features a similar figure design.

Sharkkana

Pink for every day of the week. Sharkkana took to Instagram in a pair of pink, distressed jeans paired with a one-shoulder piece by designer Lois1XBlue. The top fits slightly slanted with a unique asymmetrical silhouette, and the printed design coordinates the pink. She paired the look with New Bottega visor sunglasses, making this a go-to for the hotter days around the corner this June.

Eyes Rodgers

This look combines neutral browns with subtle taupe tones, a pair we love for SS21. The chocolate, mesh trousers are embellished with fly-away tie details and intricate paneling which gives off a deconstructed effect. The basic mesh cami comes with a matching glove, which is one of the most sought-after complimenting trends of the season.

Bree Runway

Bree took to Instagram in a groovy co-ord from Zara, with swirly green and blue patterns which take us back to the 70s. The piece has tie-waist details which are hot this season for their nod to y2k and sexy yet chic feel. This look combines the cut-out trend with the prints of SS21, there’s no room for basic this hot girl summer.

Today H&M have unveiled a collaboration that is pure 90s nostalgia. Kangol x H&M featuring Mabel mixes iconic streetwear with authenticity and effortless style.

The collection features 31 pieces that have Mabel as its face and co-collaborator. The collection is authentic, energetic, and innovative. Pieces include long puffers, puffer jackets, and knitwear that bear the Kangol logo. The collection focuses on essentials: which has been a key focus of post-pandemic fashion. Think rollback sweaters and oversized logo T’s – a chic but effortless take on streetwear, in a way that is compulsively wearable.

Mabel is the perfect figurehead for this campaign. She is one of this generations biggest stars and recently won the best British female solo artist Brit award and over half a billion streams of her tracks, including Mad Love and Boyfriend. Talking about the collection, Mabel said that streetwear is in her blood, and she is aiming to share her creativity with a new generation. This is really a key takeaway of this collection – both her passion for streetwear and her ingenious creativity.

The collab is true to form for both Mabel and for Kangol. Kangol has deep connections to music, and Mabel is a self-made icon who is proudly representing the streetwear community as both an artist and as a creator. The collection also features a full set of accessories, including an iconic Kangol bucket hat, as well as a boxy crossbody bag and a bum bag, for the full nineties energy. H&M are defining the collar as streetwear for the self-made, which sits well with the self-sufficient Gen Zers of today.

Fans can also use six Kangol x H&M exclusive Instagram filters, to make themselves look like they are in the most recent Mabel music video. A week ago, Mabel dropped an interactive video for her track Bad Behaviour via Instagram stories. This allows fans to immerse themselves in the experience and is a unique and innovative take on both promoting the collaboration.

Hamish Morjaira, a representative of Kangol, stated that “Kangol are excited to work with H&M and Mabel on this collaboration. ́Tick Tock ́ is a song that easily can stay on our mind 24/7. It’s a mix between the R&B of Mabel and the electro-pop from the multi-platinum, GRAMMY-winning group, Clean Bandit, The video clip, full of pastel and light tones with creative visuals and cool digital design creates a dance melody that encourages us to dance at the rhythm of the hands of the clock in the middle of a forest of glaciers and inside a cuckoo house with multiple crazy stages.

This fun project is the first official release of the group since 2018 and has been produced by the band and written by them, Mabel and Kamille. A dream room full of popcorn, cities in cardboard, trains, and music instruments, accompanied by a lyric about a boy obsession by the Brit Awarded artist, Mabel.

Her unique voice makes us confident of her secret obsession, thinking 24/7 on him, and like the song, who didn’t have a crush like this right? Featuring 24KGoldn, the American rapper bring move hip hop rhythms with a lot of golden style, creating an exceptional electro-pop melody full of desire, dance movements, and joy.

RAYE’s ‘Decline’, ‘Finders Keepers’ by Mabel and Stefflon Don’s ‘Hurtin’ Me’ are all UK Top 15 singles and ‘Cigarette’ is part of a broader project that will be released in the near future. RAYE’S collection is culturally relevant, informed by working closely with artists as she continues pushing to become the “biggest and best” that she can be whilst solidifying her position in UK music.

RAYE’s music demonstrates a genuine love for what she does and the success of her UK Silver certified single ‘Decline’ – which is still on the Capital playlist and remained on the Radio 1 A List for 8 weeks – is a clear example of this. For most of 2017 she performed at major festivals including Glastonbury, Latitude and V Festival and with nearly 75 million streams of her music, it’s no surprise that the likes of John Legend, Charli XCX, Nas, Little Mix, Snakehips, Julia Michaels, Blood Pop, Ellie Goulding, Diplo and Naughty Boy have all worked alongside RAYE as a songwriter to create new music.

STEFFLON DON

Signing a huge record contract, creating her album, and working with some of the biggest names including Drake, it is fair to say 2017 has been a huge year for Stefflon Don. 2018 is also looking bright, and we are excited to see what this next great hip-hop star will release.

With charisma, skill and talent, we are not surprised Jorja Smith’s career has really picked up. After being shortlisted for BBC’S Sound of 2017, she has continued her musical growth, collaborating with some of the biggest names. Already beginning 2018 by winning the BRITS Critics Choice, we can’t wait to see what 2018 will bring.
