]]> Coachella is not only one of the biggest music events of the calendar year it’s also become one of the biggest fashion events too. With the festival taking place across several weekends in the desert it has a unique vibe compared to most other festivals and that is reflected in the fashion too, with bohemian chic and flower crowns being prime parts of the festival’s sense of style. With the festival’s second weekend having just passed we thought we would run down some of the best looks from the past two days… and give ourselves some major FOMO in the process!

Vanessa Hudgens

Actress Vanessa Hudgens rocked up to the festival in a long green coat with fur sleeves, a jewelled bralette and a pair of classic baggy denim jeans with a cute butterfly embroidered on them. The butterfly patch adds cute and playful energy to the outfit, which is perfect for Coachella’s kind of festival.

Carina

Jewels were all over Carina’s Coachella get-up, with the most prominent being on her dazzling, layered necklace. Foregoing subtlety and instead being loud and proud, the necklace sat atop Carina’s chest and added some serious shine to her already shimmering outfit. Go big or go home, right?

Leonie Hanne

Jewellery isn’t just for wearing on the body as Leonie Hanne fabulously demonstrated with some dreamy face jewellery. Whilst the influencer did wear some chained earrings and a huge necklace, it was the facial studs which commanded the most attention as they were dotted around both her eyes and served as a complement to the golden eyeshadow she was also wearing.

Paris Hilton

It can be hard to stand out at Coachella due to the sheer amount of versatile and crazy outfits on display so how does one ensure they’re noticed? Head-to-toe neon of course which Paris Hilton executed flawlessly. The neon pink body harness was playful and no doubt cool in the scorching desert heat and was paired with a reflective bralette and necklace for extra noticeability.

City Girls

Similarly, hip hop duo City Girls also went for a fully pink wardrobe this weekend with a particularly notable part of their outfits being their boots. The thigh-high boots were loud and proud in a bubblegum-tinged pink which set the duo apart from the rest of their backing dancers, all of whom were wearing glossy white boots.

Leonie Hanne

Leonie wasn’t content with all that jewellery either as she sported even more for another of her outfits. Whilst the whole outfit dazzled, the huge, dangling earrings were of particular note with this look. Designed to look like butterflies, the intricate and beautifully designed earrings added another layer of character to this outfit.

Lizzo

Accessories can often make or break an entire outfit and in Lizzo’s case, they definitely made it. Ditching the standard flower crown Lizzo instead wore some cute heart-shaped clips in her hair for a unique spin on the festival’s go-to headgear. In addition to this, she also dressed her nails up to the nines, with the uber-long extensions shining in a metallic pink which matched her trousers and being fitted with countless studs to match her also studded top.

Teyana Taylor

Heading to a festival in the desert without sunglasses would be like walking out into a rainstorm without an umbrella. Luckily Teyana Taylor was well equipped, wearing a pair of cool rounded shades in a dark red which exuded a true bohemian vibe. Also adding to that vibe was her body chain which was subtle but noticeable enough to add some extra colour and texture to her outfit.

Vanessa Morgan

Riverdale star Vanessa Morgan sported a black open top with jewelled chains strapping across her chest and keeping both sides of the top together. The top was chic and perfect for the undoubtedly scorching heat in the desert and was a subtle way of adding jewellery to an outfit without going to the obvious examples.

Teyana Taylor

Teyana went for a completely different vibe for her other outfit of the weekend, with this one feeling distinctly edgier. The singer wore a matching pair of black short shorts and a tube top each fitted with a stunning number of jewels and accessories which added a distinct amount of bling to the outfit. The singer also added a glamorous, sheer-lined coat to the outfit throughout the day which added back some of that bohemian charm from her previous look.

]]> Coachella has returned triumphantly, bringing with it the much-anticipated, and often divisive, art of festival beauty. Colourful hair, facial gems, and wild up-dos are all trendy this season. Thankfully, for those of us who won’t be able to attend in person, our favourite celebrities are flooding our social media feeds with their head-to-toe Coachella looks—often featuring multiple outfits, hair, and makeup changes throughout the day to transition from bright desert days to cool party nights. As weekend 1 of the “influencer Olympics” comes to a close, let’s have a run-through of some of our favourite looks of this year!

Jhenè Aiko

Although she’s usually a Coachella performer herself, this year, Jhené Aiko was there to have fun and support beau Big Sean, an unmissable act at this year’s festival. Aiko’s one you can always count on for an amazing glam moment. The purple cat-eye look and festival staple space buns certainly deliver us all the festival vibes! 

Megan Thee Stallion 

First time Coachella performer, Megan Thee Stallion, stunned us all with her pink and blue bubblegum look. The baby blue and pink swirled up-do, fierce liner and eyeshadow has us all in envy! With the pop of blue shimmer in the inner corner and extra-long pink nails, the whole look just comes together perfectly. Megan always serves, but for her first Coachella appearance, she really pulled through! 

Hailey Bieber 

One of Coachella’s IT girls, Hailey Bieber, is continuing to show us her love for a Y2K hairstyle. The cute baby braids scattered throughout the hair are a classic festival hairstyle, paired with a set of bright neon yellow nails, and a shimmery blue waterline, what’s not to love! A simple but effective festival look that we are all here for.

Doja Cat 

Doja Cat’s looks always match her high energy, dance packed sets! With multiple outfit changes during her performance, we have so much to unpack. Her orange and blue distressed outfit mirrored her orange and blue shimmer eyeshadow look. With a full bronze beat, and dramatic black smoked out lash line, paired with soft orange shadow and impactful blue pigment, this makeup look was to die for!  

Storm Reid 

Euphoria star, Storm Reid, shows off her pastel sunset-inspired French tip nails and a beautiful but subtle makeup look. Leaving her skin looking natural and bare with minimal product, a small flick of mascara and a subtle shimmery inner corner, plus a glossy lip, it’s hard not to love this minimal festival glam. The pastel sunset nails match her outfit, bringing the whole look together perfectly! 

Vanessa Hudgens 

Queen of Coachella herself, Vanessa Hudgens, never fails to impress us! Always serving us BoHo chic, this year she decided to add a bit of neon to her chain crochet look. On one hand pink iridescent nails, and on the other hand green, something a bit different for Vanessa. We are loving it, and think that the combination of BoHo and neon are the perfect duo we’ve been looking for! 

Kendall Jenner 

Another one of the Coachella IT girls, Kendall Jenner, was spotted at Revolve fest with the Y2K inspired braided pigtails. The Y2K braids have well and truly made their comeback, and if there’s a time to bring them into the limelight, Coachella is the time and place. This will definitely be a look to give a go this festival season! 

Rina Sawayama 

Singer, Rina Sawayama, was spotted a Coachella rocking the most amazing makeup look to take the stage! Taking snatched to a whole new level, Rina had baby blue shimmer eyeshadow smoked right out with a darker blue waterline, and some pink and silver crystals placed around her eyes and cheeks. The iridescent and metallic blue look tied in perfectly with her denim look, the more dramatic the better!

]]> With stellar sets from the likes of Harry Styles and Megan Thee Stallion, to eye-catching looks from our favourite influencers, weekend 1 of Coachella did not disappoint! With a more demure approach to festival attire becoming apparent and sported by the likes of Kendall Jenner, we’ve picked out the standout styles that the weekend had to offer. 

Harry Styles 

Harry’s setlist had it all, from a revamped rendition of One Direction’s biggest hit, sneaky previews of his upcoming album material and none other than Shania Twain featuring as his special guest, we were entertained from start to finish. Fashion-wise, Harry opted for a daring custom Gucci jumpsuit which we loved.

Rina Sawayama 

Playing into our Cowgirl fantasy was none other than Rina Sawayama, as she rocked a cropped denim jacket featuring draped sequins, paired with denim shorts with feather features to add an extra flair to this camp look. Of course, this wouldn’t have been complete without cowgirl boots, and Rina looked incredible whilst sporting some.

Doja Cat  

Putting futurism into fashion this weekend was Doja Cat, wearing Ottolinger whilst striking a pose for Instagram before her versatile performance on the main stage.

Paris Hilton

Serving us up some serious sparkle was the iconic Paris Hilton, rocking black and silver from head to toe as she took on the hot weather of Coachella. Further emphasising the heat was Paris’ statement boots, with graphic flame features.

Leonie Hanne 

If there were a prize for Coachella outfits, this weekend we think Leonie would be in the running for the crown, as she offered several divine looks for us to soak up. From edgy glam to nude, golden and glamorous styles, there was something for everyone posted to Hanne’s feed over the past few days. 

Megan Thee Stallion

Oozing with stage presence and sass was Megan Thee Stallion, as she wore the ultimate hot girl attire for her set, consisting of a trio of figure-hugging bodysuits in powerful shades such as silver and black.

Snoh Aalegra 

Nothing says festival season the way chaps do, and Snoh Aalegra understood that memo. Complete with embellished cycling shorts and bralette engulfed by a wet look leather jacket and chaps, this look delivered excitement and an edge.

Rickey Thompson

Carrying on the edgy leather looks was Rickey Thompson, as he struck a pose for Instagram looking sassy as ever in full leather attire.

Nikita Dragun

Adding a bright pop of colour to the sea of Coachella looks this year is Nikita Dragun, going as far as coordinating her wig to her animal print rainbow coloured dress. 

Jhene Aiko 

Jhene Aiko delivered one of the most unique looks we’ve seen so far this Coachella season, looking equally extraterrestrial and enchanting. The best part? How easy this look is to recreate! All you need is a cropped jumper, maxi skirt and platform boots in a daring shade.

Peggy Gou

Another simple yet effective look was served by Peggy Gou, as she wore an adorable blue corset top and black flared trousers to add a touch of formality to her Coachella appearance. 

Sydney Sweeney

Keeping it cute and classy was the beautiful Sydney Sweeney, as she wore a cute white playsuit with cowgirl boots to get us all in the festival mood. This is a staple look for any festival-goers who would prefer a more neutral fit!

Bree Runway 

Opting for a simple and sassy look was Bree Runway, who wore a Fendi slip dress in a gorgeous summery turquoise shade, matching her green hair. To make this festival appropriate, Bree rocked chunky boots and larger than life shades. 

Hailey Bieber, Kendall Jenner and Justine Skye

Coming as a surprise to many, seasoned Coachella goers Kendall and Hailey ditched the high maintenance outfits this weekend, instead choosing more laidback and casual styles. From Y2K braids, low wasited trousers and tiny crop tops, we can see these styles being popular all summer.

Nikita’s pink look saw chunky baby pink boots paired with a cut out bodysuit. Meanwhile, Bretman’s pastel blue look paired a leather two-piece with sultry sheer gloves.

Hennessy Carolina

Attending Revolve’s exclusive Coachella party, Hennessy Carolina drew inspiration from the wild west to formulate this Barbie cow print look. Carolina paired a pink halterneck tee with high rise boots and denim shorts (finished with a pink-rimmed cowgirl hat- of course). We can’t wait to see the wild festival fit the star has in store this year!

Lizzo

Performing for the roaring audience of Coachella 2019, singer Lizzo donned a daring one-legged jumpsuit. In true Lizzo style, the star flaunted her curves through the sheer red material that added a sultry moment to Coachella’s performances. Keeping her accessories to a comfortable, yet stylish, minimum, the star wore chunky white sneakers on stage to ensure she could dance to perfection throughout the performance.

James Charles

James Charle’s all-white look was one of the most risque in Coachella’s history. Pairing a cropped white jacket with a bodysuit and knee-rise boots, the star bared all to fans on Instagram as the pure white thong look took social media by storm.

Gigi Hadid

For one of the most retro looks Coachella’s celebrity style has seen, model Gigi Hadid rocked a bright gilet with oversized white cargos and vibrant, festival-ready bangles. Gigi certainly mined the 70s festival archives for this one!

Doja Cat

Taking cues from Lizzo’s one-legged style memo, Doja also rocked the trend in an ultra-cut out beige two-piece. Performing at the 2020 Coachella, the ‘Kiss Me More’ star elevated her look with a taupe wrap-around skirt, chunky white boots, and lengthy gloves.

Winnie Harlow

One celebrity who certainly wasn’t getting lost in the crowd was model Winnie Harlow as her 2019 neon green outfit stood out from the usual denim looks of the Coachella attendees.

Pairing a sheer chiffon skirt with a cropped bra in a matching hue, Winnie brought us the ultimate colourful look that complemented her spring-ready pastel hair.

Beyonce

Beyonce’s 2018 Coachella feat saw a daring all-black look that diverged majorly from the usual colourful Coachella fits’. While performing alongside J Palvin, the iconic star donned a latex bodysuit and knee-high boots that flaunted her curves and sultry style.

After Covid related delays and cancellations over the past two years, Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is back at its California home for ready for 2022. Announcing this year’s lineup on Instagram, Coachella confirmed the festival would be going ahead, running across two weekends in April, the 15-17 and the 22-24.

Featuring an array of star-studded performers, Harry Styles will be headlining alongside Billie Eilish and Ye (Kanye West). Other acts set to be performing include, Disclosure, Doja Cat, Arlo Parks, and Peggy Gou.

The annual festival will take place at its usual setting in the Indio Desert, east of Palm Springs, California. And it is expected that a bunch of trendy guests will be in attendance at this year’s event. Previous years have seen the likes of Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid, and Hailey Bieber make their way to the desert to enjoy a stylish weekend of music and arts.
