British supermodel, and one of our all-time favourites, Naomi Campbell surprised us on Tuesday announcing the birth of her baby girl at the age of 50.

The news was shared via Instagram where she wrote “A beautiful little blessing has chosen me to be her mother,” under a photograph of her hand cradling her baby’s feet. “So honoured to have this gentle soul in my life… no words to describe the lifelong bond that I now share with you, my angel. There is no greater love.”

In honour of the exciting news and the supermodel’s upcoming birthday, we have selected a few of her most iconic looks through the years.

Versace Versace Versace!

You already know how much we love a good Versace moment, and no one does it better than Naomi Campbell herself. This is why it was so hard for us to choose a single one.

From the Met Gala 1990 iconic Versace print look to the 1997 sparkly mini dress in honour of Gianni Versace. Naomi represents Versace and its essence in a way that’s hard to replicate, and these looks prove why.

Alaïa Statement Looks

There’s something about Naomi’s looks that makes them special, and it’s not just about the designers that dress her but about the way in which she wears each of her looks.

These Alaïa moments are the perfect example, a statement dress with a simple black corset or a stripes co-ord look (that too be honest not all of us would consider). They’re amazing anyways, we know, but Naomi wearing them just put them in the looks to remember.

Red On Red

Naomi wearing a red mini-dress, oh and it’s sparkly too, what else can we ask for?

Simple due to its loose form, but sexy and bold thanks to its colour and tranquil fit.

Red Carpets with Cavalli

Two of our all-time favourite red carpet looks worn by Naomi, and of course, they’re Cavalli.

“Simple”, flattering, and metallic designs, that leave us speechless due to the delicateness of their details and embroidery.

A Cultural Moment

A look that proves that culture can be incorporated properly into fashion without having to appropriate it, nor miscommunicate it. Naomi wore a Marianne Fassler that transmits her love and appreciation for African culture, specifically the South African one, while respecting its traditional costumes but integrating them into the current fashion scene.

Violet Valentino

This gown needs no introduction. For the “Camp: Notes on Fashion” theme of the 2019 Met Gala, Naomi certainly understood the assignment, with the glitz and glamour that only added to her iconic radiance.
