The One

Slightly creepy, The One is definitely a series to watch on a boring Sunday evening. This psychological thriller tells the story of scientists finding a discovery that might be a game-changer in our dating lives. They find proof that we might be able to find the right partner by matching genes. Basically, we all have that one perfect person that is destined for us, how crazy is that? The show definitely makes you slightly uncomfortable yet makes you keep your eyes on the screen the whole time. This must be ‘The One’!

The Bold Type

To all the girl boss women out there, The Bold Type is the perfect show for you. A very in-between Millennial and Gen Z kind of series telling a story about three twenty-something women (Jane, Sutton and Kat) working for a women’s magazine ‘Scarlet’. The show is based on the experience of former Cosmopolitan magazine editor-in-chief Joanna Coles. The Bold Type is extremely fashionable, inspiring, motivating and could definitely become a good confidence boost on a bad day. We can’t recommend it enough!

Never Have I Ever

We have all played never have I ever before, but have you ever watched the series? A very Gen Z series tells a story of an Indian-American teenage girl named Devi Vishwakumar who is dealing with the loss of her father along with a teenage year crisis. Due to her traumatic emotions of grief, she ends up losing the ability to walk in her first year of high school but goes back to normal three months later which ruins her reputation. However, Devi is back for another school year. This time she ends up getting in a lot of trouble yet experiencing a lot of adventures at the same time. This show portrays a lot of different experiences as a person of colour growing up in the US. It definitely has to be a must-watch series for everyone.
