Have you thought about what you are wearing for the big day? By the big day, we are referring to Christmas day, which is quite possibly one of the only social events we have the chance to celebrate this year, so there is every reason to get even more excited about it than usual. Christmas day attire is no longer about novelty Chrimbo jumpers which are worn once a year, but rather a chance to sport both fashionable and wearable outfits that can be worn all year round for sustainable style. Scroll down for some of our timeless festive must haves!

Embellished Beaded Jumper

This mink hued knit from Zara is a jumper that can be worn on any occasion or weather. Seasonal berries are adorned all over the knit, made with miniature pearls, yellow ochre beads and are joined to stems made from dark green crochet. This berrylicious piece is casual enough to wear with jeans and eye-catching enough to be paired with a pair of dangling statement earrings.

Houndstooth Mini Skirt

Houndstooth is a print traditionally associated with luxury fashion, which is only fitting for this Gucci miniskirt made from a wool-mohair blend with details of gold chains, enamel monogram buttons. The warm colours of the beige and cream ties together this preppy style in a wearable way which can be worn a host of other neutral tones. Tie this skirt together with opaque black tights and black leather loafers or knee highs for some winter chic.

Quilted Shoulder Bag

This basket weaved shoulder bag in the festive shade of merlot by Bottega Veneta, is the perfect accessory to match any of your festive outfits. The silky cushioned leather subtly shines as its hanging over your shoulder. Wear with a ribbed turtleneck, baggy jeans and chunky chain jewellery to give your outfit edge

Silver Chrome Knee Highs

If your Christmas day outfit is to be minimal or consisting of a mostly dark palette, then having a striking pair of shoes can show a strong contrast, which makes your outfit memorable. These silver chrome boots have the typical silhouette of knee-high boots but the electric metallic faux leather adds a touch of futuristic glamour.

White Teddy Fleece

To be worn as a fleece jacket or fleece dress, this white teddy number gives Christmas snow vibes and can be cosy to wear during the cold winter days alongside chunky snow boots and ribbed socks. Matching bucket hat available for maximum cuteness.

Embellished Cable Knit Vest

A twist on the traditional cable knit, Gucci has reinvented the classic cable and used multi colour sequins to add dimension and life to the cable pattern. Soft yet vibrant, this cheery vest will twinkle in all the right places and will coordinate well with Good ol’ plain mom jeans.

Striped Knit Jumper

A cross between colour blocking and tye-dye, this chunky knit encompasses all the tones of autumn from biscuit beiges, chocolate browns and wine reds, through to dainty lilacs to break up the shades. The cosy balloon sleeves add an element of casual comfort, which make this jumper perfect for a lazy Christmas afternoon.

Cashmere Wrist Warmers

Not quite gloves and not quite sleeves of a jumper, wrist warmers are the winter accessory we should all know about! Made in Scotland by 33 artisans per piece, luxury cashmere brand Johnstons of Elgin’s grey cable knit warmers work well under any coat or jumper for extra warmth.

Raised Beaded Headband

Headbands are a sure-fire way to spice up an otherwise simple outfit and at the same time to nicely frame the face. This monochromatic pearl headband is eye capturing and full of regal accents, perfect for a celebration like Christmas drinks. Slick hair into a centre parting and style hair in silky mermaid waves to be extra on-trend.
