Lil Nas X
Trust Lil Nas to always make a statement, be it the launch of his new music video or setting fire to the stage. This time, it’s his custom Atelier Versace suit that delivers a straight win. The asymmetrical blazer is a 2-in-1 gown with a stunning uptake on a traditional suit and is adorned with hand-applied crystals. It is off-shouldered from one side and transitions into a gown-like train. The outfit is paired with a matching pair of simple lilac boots.
Olivia Rodrigo dazzled the red carpet in an archive Versace Spring 2001 couture gown. The magenta tulle draped intricately across the corseted coral satin gown and the visible boning have been inspired by the silhouettes of the 1940s. Rodrigo paired the gown with matching magenta danglers carved in the shape of a butterfly, simple yet stunning!
Normani bumped the temperature up a notch in her sexy two-piece Partyja Pagas white set at the VMA’s red carpet. The cropped vegan leather jacket highlighted her toned midriff and belly piercing. The boxy jacket features gathered sleeves and exaggerated cuffs and the asymmetrical mini skirt with an extended panel that elevated the outfit into a futuristic look. Normani chose to pair the outfit with jewelleries from Djula.
If you have dropped your jaw, you are alone. Sheer dresses have engulfed the fashion trend this season and Megan Fox has worn it in all the right ways. Donned in a risqué see-through dress, Megan slew the VMA red carpet accompanied with a pair of platform heels and a wet-look hair get up. The Mugler dress featured spaghetti straps and highlighted her embellished silver thong. A completely daring outfit that did not need an extra elaboration of effort, Megan aced the look that makes us go, “Girl! Vibe Check !!!“
There’s never a dull day with JLO’s stunning outfits and 2021 has been all about that. Jennifer Lopez decided to daze the crowd again at the VMA in her David Koma co-ord lace-up dress. The silhouette features a double-slit skirt wound in lace completed with mirror work detailings that boasted of her aspiring toned physique while the top is high neck and long-sleeved with lace-closure at the center. The outfit set the stage on fire accessorized with a pair of clear heels.
Anitta wooed the crowd at the VMAs in a custom Miss Sohee glamorous outfit. The gown features a plunging neckline. The bodice is shaped and textured in clamshells bedazzled with crystals. The Brazilian singer brought back the glove fetish as she sported a pair of white satin opera gloves that perfectly sufficed the daring black and white outfit paired with Alexandre Birman Maddie Sandals.
You may have already pictured Doja Cat wearing something stunningly out of the box and it was just that. For her red carpet look at the VMAs, Doja cat gave us a 2021 version of the Glam-rock in her black sheer corseted Vivienne Westwood mini dress draped in purple fabric. The dress was accessories with red thigh-high latex socks and high platform heels. The look was equated with a chunky pebble neckpiece and oxidized pair of earrings that sent off antique vibes.
Whoever said there is never an event for exaggerated hats! Exactly. No one ever! Kacey Musgraves chose to go all purple with a dash of red leather gloves as she stepped out in an exceptional look sporting a Valentino Purple mini dress along with a larger-than-life feathered hat. Cinched at the waist featuring a round high neckline, the dashing purple ensemble is balanced with a pair of simple clear heels.
TikTok celeb Bella Poarch amazed her fans with her goth-inspired look. Styled in her patent pigtailed hairstyle, the Filipino singer dropped a style statement in an intricate lace jumpsuit that cascaded in a dramatic and elaborated layered cape train that definitely looked like Bella ‘leaving her haunted mansion’. The jumpsuit featured an exaggerated waist and flared pants-clad in sheer and black lace that covered her foot.
