Inspired by the Mexican sport of Escaramuza Charra, Maria Grazia Chiuri has created a number of feminine outfits adorned with traditional embroidery, which evoke the grace and strength of the skilled horsewomen.
Escaramuza Charra, for the uninitiated, comprises a group of women mounted on horseback, who make their horses dance in choreographies to the rhythm of Mexican music. Dressing up is an art, and takes a lot of responsibility.
