Statement eveningwear and red-carpet worthy dresses are what fashion designer, Giambattista Valli, is best known for. However, the couturier is now looking to tackle activewear.
Set to release a range of 50-60 sporty pieces, the brand is looking to express a more functional side. Valli’s creations are known for their glamour, however in recent seasons he has begun to take a casual approach to his designs, with a move into denim and now, a sportier territory. The collection will reportedly feature puffa jackets, coats and tracksuits, all while maintaining Valli’s sophisticated and luxurious aspects within his designs.
With an expected launch being as early as January 2018, we are excited to see the sportier direction that the brand is taking.
