“Dropping ‘Heat’ on the same day as World Pride feels iconic,” Rita shares. “It’s a celebration of joy, freedom, and being unapologetically YOU. I just wanted to have fun with this track — it’s totally soaked in sunshine.”

The track first made waves during her Miami performance on Kylie Minogue’s Tension Tour, and now it’s gearing up to dominate summer playlists. Next stop? London’s Summertime Ball on 15th June, where Rita is set to bring the heat (literally).

And the video? A full-on visual escape. Directed by Justin Daashuur Hopkins and shot in rich technicolor hues on Miami Beach, the “Heat” video is a surreal, high-energy celebration of beach culture — eccentric, sweaty, wild, and unapologetically alive. Think Martin Parr meets sun-drenched fantasy.

With 13 UK Top 10 singles, four Number Ones, and a BRIT Billion Award under her belt, Rita Ora’s reign isn’t slowing down. Her latest album You & I debuted at #1 on the UK Independent Albums Chart, with fans and critics alike praising her evolution.

The humble tank top; the versatile sleeveless staple that can so effortlessly take us from the gym to the shops, to a night out (obviously with a wash and a few styling tweaks in-between- but you get the point!). In the current climate, shopping is now a distant happy, memory and nights out are the things of dreams.

Though many of the world’s dedicated lovers of fashion might currently be feeling slightly distraught; all this time to think about and plan outfits down to the very last detail – and literally NOWHERE to go. Since appearing in Voir Issue 9 a few seasons ago, we have witnessed the meteoric rise of Rita Ora. From unknown Kosovan born singer to a fashion and beauty icon, we have witnessed her skyrocket to iconic status. But it doesn’t stop there, within the last few months Rita Ora has performed her latest hit “Let me love you” at the People’s Choice Awards to an audience of more than 7 million people in the U.S.A alone.

That same week Rita arrived at the 2018 Victoria’s Secret show in a stunning silver metallic gown created by Versace. She performed her hit song “Let me love you” on the catwalk along side many amazing musical talents such as Halsey, Shane Mendes and Bebe Rexha. While the artist has been performing recently at a variety of shows, Rita Ora has produced a new album “Phoenix” which will be released on November 23rd.
