]]> On Monday night, The British Fashion Awards took place in London’s Royal Albert Hall, and the red carpet didn’t fall short of bold A-lister looks. The stars graced us wearing dazzling style choices on this glamorous night celebrating creativity and innovation, with Alex Consani making history, Rihanna coming in hot with a standout look, and the night rounded off with dynamic performances on stage.

Rihanna was the star of the red carpet as all eyes were on her and A$ap Rocky wearing Christian Lacroix and Bottega Veneta. Her blue fur get up was a vintage Lacroix haute couture piece from FW 2002 and fell nothing short of Badgalriri’s signature style. Elevated with stacked silver necklaces and black leather gloves, she stole the show.

Co-host for the evening, Maya Jama dazzled us as she wore a stunning olive-green gown with cross over detailing at the top and embroidered flowers at the front. The silk flowing train also included intricate embroidery along with a fishnet trim encapsulating Connor Ives as a designer as we see his unexpected fabric combinations and striking colours first hand.

Jourdan Dunn served us a head-to-toe leopard print moment with Dior. The model chanelled her inner black-cat energy with the cat-eye lashes, and showed off her legs with the micro shorts, perfectly accompanying the blazer and long black gloves. The bakerboy cap finished off the look with a British essence for the British Fashion Awards.

Ashley Graham walked the carpet in a gorgeous black dress from David Koma’s first collection for Blumarine. The black dress included a sheer train to finish it off and a structured bodice showing off her figure. Graham, who had her VS debut earlier this year, finished the look off with a slicked back bun and all silver jewellery.

The stunning Halle Bailey wore a bespoke Ellie Misner dress and channelled her inner Disney princess on the red carpet. She arrived with a light and airy presence as she graced us in a couture piece draped in pearls and holographic cut outs mirroring when she starred as The Little Mermaid.

Alex Consani became the first transgender woman to win the Model of The Year award last night and as Voir puts it – made style accessible to women everywhere. She walked the carpet looking gorgeous in a Dilara Findikoglu moment and celebrated backstage in style after thanking the transgender models who came before her, paving the way for Consani to flourish.

Simone Ashley, Bridgerton star stepped onto the carpet in a baby pink, strapless Prada gown. The coquette dress had different levels to it; from a short front to a long train at the back and was finished off with a matching pink bow on the bodice. Styled by Rebecca Corbin-Murray, Simone Ashley for sure had her girly moment on the runway in that dress, along with a slicked back hairstyle which was giving an iconic pixie cut at the front.

Ming Lee Simmons wore an undeniably daring look to the awards last night as she was pictured in a sheer chainmail dress. The floor length number was figure hugging and sleekly complemented by jet straight hair in a half up fashion and incredibly well contoured make-up. Munroe Bergdorf left Voir nothing short of speechless as she dominated the runway in a Patrick McDowell gown. Being released on the 8th of October 2024 is collab of the year, Savage X Diesel. Teased on Instagram three days ago, this collaboration between two fashion favourites is set to dominate October.

But we’re not just jealous of Rhianna’s hair. To attend the Fenty Hair party, Rhianna styled a plunging, off the shoulder, teddy coat by Jacquemus, expertly cinched at the waist to show off those iconic curves. Elevating the game with gold stilettos elongating her gorgeous legs, the look was paired with Hassanzadeh Jewellery’s stunning gold earrings and rings to tie the look together.

A-Listers on the guestlist included Jess Glynne, Alex Scott, Former Love Island contestant Indiyah Polak, and Rhianna herself among other gorgeous celebs with hair that is now more enviable than ever!

But the party doesn’t end there! At the London Oxford Street store, the Selfridges pop-up will stick around, allowing us to get a taste of the Fenty Hair range. Guests will enter the salon where customers can book a 1:1 hair consultation or styling service with a Fenty Hairstylist. Customers can pick a look from the Fenty Hair lookbook and be guided to choose the right product line-up for their hair type while being engulfed in the signature warm, amber scent of the hair range to complete the luxury experience.

And Rhianna’s iconic style hasn’t stopped there! Recently spotted rocking an intricate, complex Jawara Alleyne piece styled by the genius Jahleel Weaver. The deep brown shade glistened with its’ sheer texture in a wrap style with multiple weaves, tucks, and ties that hug Riri’s curves in all the right places. Paired with chunky gold jewellery and ski-style sunglasses, we know that autumn is well underway with this deep chocolate tone.

The original Eau de parfum celebrates intense floral notes of jasmine grandiflorum and centifolia rose absolutes to create an iconic scent that has embodied women globally for over two decades since its 1999 debut. But the new L’Or scent is perhaps Dior’s boldest variation yet. In the creation of L’Or de J’adore, Kurkdjian has expertly taken a timeless piece and reimagined it for the contemporary woman. With more than 80 ingredients in the formula, and a prominent orange blossom warmth,  the symphony of notes is deep, complex, and oozes luxury. 

Following the passing of the torch to Rihanna, the iconic J’adore bottle necklace has also been restyled to reflect the warmth of the scent in a celebration of luxurious curves that hug the glass of the L’Or de J’adore bottle, and since the bottle itself is an impression of the female form, it’s only right that the L’Or bottle is now the image of Rihanna iconic curves.

“I have in a way, forced the outline of the flowers to define a new texture, like a fluid and enveloping gold, a new sensuality. Flowers are the true gold of J’adore” says Francis Kurkdjian, Creative Director at Dior, and with the classic gold colour coming from an essential, pure floral concentrate, we can be sure that gold, not diamonds, is forever.

Savage x Fenty has successfully made a name for itself in the industry as one of the most diverse and representative brands. Thankfully, Rihanna seems intent on growing that reputation even further as the newest Savage x Fenty line drops. 

As we flipped our calendars over to March, Rihanna put a spring in our step by dropping the latest Savage x Fenty Spring collection for March 2021. The newest collection is heavily ‘60s inspired, with cute floral prints and swinging silhouettes. 

Inclusivity is always at the forefront of every drop with Savage x Fenty. The brand ranges from sizes 32A TO 42DD and XS to 3X, but it’s the stunning models that have grabbed our attention. In a promotional film, some whimsical beauties flaunted their stuff in some pretty and delicate lingerie, and it might be our favourite drop yet. 

Rihanna’s brand has always had a beautiful casting of models for her collections and has constantly raised the standards in the fashion industry with representative casting. Last week, Tamera McLaughlin (@ayethatsmera) announced via Instagram that she was ‘The first Little Person Ambassador’ for Savage x Fenty (and her pics were stunning). Rihanna’s models have included those who are pregnant, breast cancer survivors, and along with a good representation of all different kinds of bodies (because each one is different and worth celebrating), the Savage x Fenty lines have never been short of women, non-binary and male models to show off the stellar collections.

Fortunately for all of us, Rihanna’s love of robes has manifested itself with the Spring collection, which is a huge win for us, because what’s a better lounging around at home ‘fit than a Savage x Fenty floral robe? 

The ‘Free Spirit Floral’ collection has all the colourways we need for spring, with bright hues and pastels. The shoot looks like something straight out of a woodland spring fantasy, with beautiful models stretched against a whimsical backdrop with some pretty ‘60s makeup to boot. 

It’s hard to choose highlights, as the whole collection is jaw-dropping, but the ‘floral embroidered night slip’ and the ‘freshly picked mesh robe’ deserve an honourable mention. Unfortunately, the get-up Rihanna rocked in the promotional shoot has already sold out (are we surprised?) but the rest of the collection is still available to purchase online. Best of all though, the Savage x Fenty website allows you to view the items on different models, to get a sense of what the lingerie looks like on all body types. 

Truthfully, there’s nothing quite like the latest Savage x Fenty drop and its swinging ‘60s film debut to get us excited for the coming Spring. We’re grateful that Savage x Fenty is once again setting the standards within the industry to include everybody in their spring collection, because we all deserve to lounge in the sun in some pretty floral lingerie.

Valentine’s day is approaching and even if you thought that you’re not exactly in the right mindset nor mood for celebration Rihanna is here to change your mind. The latest Savage X Fenty collection may just be what we needed in order to feel special during this lockdown.

RiRi herself presented the new collection ‘Candy Hearts’ via Instagram, modelling the hottest lingerie sets and demonstrating the confidence we all need to feel in our own bodies. The campaign took form in a series of collages created by the Australian artist Labyrinth of Collages, who has become known for his incredible work featuring everyone from Zendaya to Timothee Chalamet.

The ‘Candy Hearts’ collection focused on transmitting the importance of daring to be different while remaining authentic to ourselves, and we couldn’t agree more with it. Even if self-love shouldn’t be exclusive to a date you can take advantage of this collection and upcoming day to splurge a little bit more than usual and buy your favourite lingerie pieces. From lace-up bodysuits, mesh bralettes, and flaming red sets with fun embroidery we’re certain that you’ll find the perfect piece to celebrate this 14th of February in style.
