Ethereal. Structured. Powerful. These three words define Dilara Findikoglu’s latest collection, Venus from Chaos, a striking reimagining of divine femininity. With each piece, she breathes new life into the mythology of Venus, the goddess of love and beauty, not as a passive figure of admiration, but as a force of nature—chaotic, untamed, and breathtaking.

One look directly invoked Botticelli’s The Birth of Venus, with a model draped in cascading red hair that veiled her body like a celestial shroud. She seemed like a vision, stepping forth from the waves—an ethereal being reborn from the depths of chaos itself. The unexpected touch? Safety-pin trainer-style shoes, an almost jarring contrast to the goddess-like presence. A symbol, perhaps, of Venus’ modern resurrection—raw, unfinished, a woman not just of love, but of survival and reinvention.

Findikoglu’s Venus does not simply emerge from the sea; she storms out, unafraid of the debris of the world she leaves behind. One look featured a near-transparent dress clinging to the model’s skin, as if she had just stepped from the ocean and water was falling down her body. Another look was a structured, armour-like corset entirely composed of shells, pearls, and safety pins. The juxtaposition was striking—the delicacy of the shells set against the brutal strength of the armour, hinting at the duality of womanhood. Fragility and resilience, beauty and danger, creation and destruction.

Our favourite look was a blood-red dress, a colour of love and sacrifice. It was something out of a dark fairytale, a garment you could imagine Snow White wearing in a reimagined story where she is both the hunter and the hunted, a queen in her own right. Findikoglu reminds us that femininity is not one-dimensional; women are not just from Venus, but from Mars, from every star and planet that has ever existed in the skies.

Throughout the collection, exposed safety pins served as a visual thread—a rejection of perfection, a rebellion against the polished and pristine. There was no effort to conceal the rawness; instead, the collection embraced its unfinished, chaotic beauty. These pieces did not just sit on the models; they spoke, screamed, whispered of struggle and survival, of finding light amid the dark.

And darkness did indeed set the stage. The converted warehouse venue, stark and industrial, felt almost like a portal into another world. The audience could have just as easily been queuing for Berghain as they were for Findikoglu’s vision, drawing upon her brutalist, unapologetically sensual, and unrestrained aesthetic. In the dimly lit space, the models became the only sources of light—flickering embers of a revolution in fabric.

Chaos was not merely an aesthetic choice; it was the foundation of Findikoglu’s ideology. She leaned into the idea that true creation cannot exist without destruction. Venus, often seen as a symbol of beauty and pleasure, is reframed here as a goddess of rebellion, of women’s carnal desires, of disruption and resistance. Through chaos, there is harmony. Through turmoil, there is transformation. The collection questioned control—how much do we shape our own destinies, and how much do unseen forces, like the deities of old, interfere and guide us? In this show, you didn’t just sit and watch—you sat and listened, drawn into the story woven into every look.

Perhaps Findikoglu is calling on us all to step into our godlike Venus selves—to embrace our chaos, to forge our own myths, to reclaim the power that has always been ours.

]]> After half a million of you went crazy for our cover star Loreen on our recent issue released less than a week ago, Voir gives you an exclusive look of some visuals behind the scenes captured by @lolo_creativ.

Eurovision singer Loreen won twice making history by being the first woman to do so and we have an exclusive interview for you all written by Julia Sulkowska here all about her journey as a singer and the exciting things she has coming up. Advocate for acceptance and equality, Loreen empowered women everywhere with this shoot.

On the cover Loreen wears a Whitaker Malem ‘Tied-Up’ body suit, paired with Di Minno shoes as she stands in a striking power pose that fans went crazy for. The bodysuit included leg covers, all Ared together with strings, and her razor-sharp nails matching the dramatic aesthetic.

Her next look was a shining moment as she dripped in gold upon gold. She wears a Caroline Svedbom Snake Chain Dress paired with a Givenchy bracelet available at 4 Element and Di Minno gold shoes. Once again, her nails are a striking point of the look as they mirror the previous black ones and overall show off Loreen’s aesthetic.

Loreen’s final look is cold laser moment exhibiting her feminism in a suite of armour by Albert Collins. Top by Flowery He and skirt by Critter complete the look and create a dynamic and powerful look.

In a show fit for the gods, Greek designers took to the stage in the 35th annual Athens Fashion Week in a showcase of true glamour and authenticity. As you know, Voir Fashion are always on the hunt for spectacular designers and international talent, and since taking to Athens ourselves, in true Hermes style we are here to tell you who’s on our radar. Staying at the enchanting Académias Hotel, Voir got all the behind-the-scenes access and front row footage of the glorious Greek designers, and with special guest John Richmond, our time was nothing less than celestial.

Daphne Valente

With extravagant pleating at its core, Daphne Valente has expertly displayed her methodical craftsmanship and elegant eye through her show at Athens Fashion Week, dotted with pieces from her AW24 collection among with many new elaborate additions in a melting pot of luxury.

Daphne describes her brand as synonymous with timeless sophistication and refined elegance, along with meticulous attention to detail which shone through in her sculptural pieces and accessories. Hues of haunting magenta, deep burgundy and a collage of earthy greens pierced our senses and made up the collection, with nearly all designs focusing on the classic pleat, Daphne is here to remind us that she did it first!
The devil is in the details, and Daphne knows this all too well. The intricate styling included spiked hairstyles, married perfectly with the pleating, and demure accessories as to not take away from the main aspect on show.

Vassilis Zoulias

Vassilis Zoulias was THE show of the week to talk about at Athens Fashion Week. Held at the iconic Four Seasons Athens, the location speaks for itself as the audience watched a show backdropped with the exquisite Greek scenery. Zoulias’ designs eagerly complimented the location with luminous summer tones capturing both the ethereal and sensual essence of travelling to Greece. And with endless, deep blue tones in the garments creating a lively river running down the runway, none could escape Poseidon’s charm.

Zoulias indulged us in a vast variety of pieces. Every occasion was catered for in his collection ranging from draping maxi dresses, sensuous swimwear, and striking blazer co-ords. Much akin to all Greek fashion powerhouses worthy of a place at Fashion Week, the brand prides itself on craftsmanship and tapestry that would rival Arachne herself, and what Zoulias delivered was nothing short of mesmerising.

Parthenis

The Parthenis show entitled “metamorphoses” delighted audiences with their hooded ensemble of transformative designs all perfectly complimenting eachother. The collection redefines everyday essentials with their fresh, iconic designs, relaxed silhouettes, and harmonious tones that guide us on a journey from dark to light in a modern Promethean gift. Reflecting the evolving identities of those who wear it, the relaxed-fit clothing came in a variety of muted earthy hues and intertwined an almost futuristic vibe mixed with a charming, medieval aesthetic in a true homage to the Greek mythology we all know and love.

Hailing from Athens itself, Parthenis pride themselves on having a timeless look with an easy living feel as they capture the elegant Greek aesthetic. In a light and airy runway, a new take on bohemian was achieved, giving it a simplistic, Greek touch.

Dassios

Dassios struck the runway with a truly thunderous collection, showcasing work filled with gothic tropes and dark motifs. Regal velvets, haunting burgundies and blood-stained wine tones redefined god-like while complementary deep pinks peppered the show in pops of jewels.

With his career originating in the costume jewellery world, Dimitris Dassios made sure to incorporate that as the focal point of the collection as the audience beheld grandiose pendants and extravagant jewels draped across models. Dassios also adorned models’ faces with a fishnet veil, creating a sense of mystery to the collection, giving him a unique angle in his show. Along with a focus on jewellery and smudged makeup; this creates a strong point of blurred identity in his work. By anonymising models’ faces, we are able to inject ourselves into the show and denote a personal effect to the collection.

John Richmond

Honoured guest designer, John Richmond, reintroduced 90s grunge into our lives in his rock n’ roll SS25 collection. The sartorial pieces, mainly in dark colours, illustrated a punk aesthetic with a mixture of garments including grungy tracksuits, preppy leather shorts, distressed jeans, and statement accessories adorned with sparking silver finishes. However, elegance was also apparent in his collection and highlighted and deepened the motifs by contrast. This duality that argues and celebrates creates an effortlessly complex image on the runway, showing us all why he is the guest of honour this year.

The English-born designer, clearly well-versed in showbusiness, illuminated the runway as lights flashed over an industrial style catwalk, capturing the essence of his style as he introduced Greece to his vision.

AFW was once again a glorious event for fashion in Greece. Diesel Launch Mystery

Being released on the 8th of October 2024 is collab of the year, Savage X Diesel. Teased on Instagram three days ago, this collaboration between two fashion favourites is set to dominate October.
From sneak peak at the design stage on Instagram, these new looks combine sexy and fun, allowing loungewear to be redefined in these new designs. Stepping into the archives that inspired the new collection are iconic old school Diesel pieces that showcase denim, rips, mesh, and acid wash in an ode to the 90s.

These blue and denim edits can be seen in essence in the new Savage X collection with the first design appearing to have a light washed blue material.

Lavish Lace

Look lavish all over with Savage X Fenty’s new collection placing lace at the forefront, merging intricacies and intimacy. The new collection dropped both online and in-store on 28th September, showcasing exquisite silhouettes in opulent shades.

Sassy and bold have been catered for in bright pops of Topaz Yellow, Purple Passionfruit, and Purple Gem, while Rhianna’s Savage X Fenty staple shades of nudes and the new Dark & Stormy Blue have also been given the lacey treatment.

And a little decadence goes a long way; the Lavish Lace collection features a gorgeous all-over floral pattern suited for special occasions or feeling sexy every day, and a flirty yet subtle “X” logo charm in front.

The Halloween Edit

Also new to Savage X Fenty this October is their Halloween shop, giving all- Halloween fits and inspo to keep you sexy this spooky season.

]]> Very different from other resort collections we’ve been shown, Dsquared2’s Dean and Dan have a signature style that always comes through regardless of what’s currently trending. This collection incorporates elements native to motorcross racing, 80s sports style, and the early 2000s.

Look 1

The first look is channelling 80s high school jocks with this crimson leather varsity jacket with long pockets and yellow stripes. Underneath is a black tank top with a dainty bow and a long gold chain. Baggy jeans are held on the hips over boxer shorts with a black belt and large, chunky branded buckle. The faded jeans feature metallic fringe tassels and cinched ankles, revealing white pointed-toe heels, and she accessorises with a mini shoulder bag.

The second look consists of a pastel, tweed, Chanel-style jacket with a plaid design, white
bouclé trim, and ornate gold buttons. Underneath is a white tank top with layers of delicate ruched lace. The model wears straight-leg jeans over boxers with patches of Betty Boop comic strips and the brands signature white paint drops. White heels peep out from beneath the worn hems, and the silver buckle is paired with a silver chain belt with love heart padlock details. This look mixes bright colours, pairing this orange trucker hat with this teal blue top. The hat features layered patches, and the top has an asymmetrical one-shoulder neckline and ruching to resemble one from the early 2000s. On the bottom, the model wears these reconstructed trousers, consisting of a denim waist that is attached to grey sweatpants. The denim element continues with a thick, dark wash denim belt with a huge red logo buckle. The look is styled with high silver platform heels, a silver cage bag, oversized earrings, and sunglasses tucked into the belt loop.

This fourth look is a denim dream! Wearing nothing on top but a cropped and frayed dark-wash denim waistcoat, Dsquared2 makes a bold statement with very little material. A continuous theme in this collection, the model wears a chunky buckle belt over boxers and carries on the dark-wash denim look with these slim-fitting, low-rise utilitarian jeans. Featuring many different-sized pockets and wrinkly, flared ends, the jeans are layered over denim heels and paired with a denim and black leather bag to match the belt. The buckle is also reflected in the branded wrist cuff, and the model wears chunky earrings to finish off the look.

This look plays on the trend of corsets by having a white corset under a white cropped hoodie rather than on top of it. It’s styled with a mid-wash denim skirt over a mesh slip with rainbow-coloured diamantés and a thick black belt with a heart-shaped buckle. For shoes, she wears silver platform heels with transparent straps and bedazzled D logos. The sparkle is carried on with jewellery— a thick silver chain bracelet, a giant gold signet ring, a black shoulder bag with silver hardware, and three heavy gold chains.

This look is super vintage-inspired, with the 2000s halter top combining old and new with patchwork varsity logos in a super cropped tube style. Layered over boxers, the straight-leg pants resemble a shell suit, and the light blue, dark blue, and orange panelling combination is very nostalgic. The look is styled with red strappy heels, matching the belt and top, and the silver detail is reflected in the cage bag, wrist cuff, and necklace. The belt is also mirrored in the denim hoop earrings, which feature silver interiors and mini red logos.

With a hood and drawstrings, the short-sleeved zip-up is the perfect combination of functional and fashionable, while the low rise skirt definitely prioritises style. Firstly, a black and white bikini top is worn under a black polka-dot, sleeveless mesh top with a ballet-core bow neckline. The feminine bow is contrasted with thick gold chains, chunky rings, and bold arm cuffs. The top is tucked into a pair of boxing-style capris with white strips and varsity lettering. This first look plays with different textures and colours, mixing blue and green leather and incorporating yellow and purple with the fluffy knee pads. The jacket has wide shoulders that give it structure and a belt to create an hourglass figure. The mixing of colours proves that this olive green will go with most colours, making it a versatile addition to your spring wardrobe.

Hailey has gone for a floor-length leather jacket, keeping it simple with just a red shirt underneath and black jeans and boots. The minimalistic look is emphasised by her slicked-back hair and understated accessories. This coat is completely timeless and versatile; it looks great with the boots is just the right length, and would be perfect with a crossbody bag or mini clutch.

The Hot Pink PU Jacket

This pink coat is giving Barbie!!!! Everything about this coat is amazing. We love the eyelet detail on the sleeves and that they could be tightened to create a balloon effect. The black buttons contrast with the pink and add some extra detail. The coat looks great with this neutral outfit and completely brings it to life, and we’d love to see it mixed with other bright colours for spring.

The Black Silk Coat

This silk coat is the definition of cool girl. The padded shoulders create a bold silhouette, and the wrinkled sleeves add an effortless vibe. The slit in the back creates movement, and we love how this has been styled. The black silk shorts go perfectly and the blouse underneath adds texture and could be easily adapted for spring— we’re thinking a pastel ruffle dress, or a floral pattern to contrast with the black bold coat. We also must take a moment of appreciation for the boots— flawless.

Off The Shoulder

This look once again proves that having your jacket off your shoulders makes you instantly look like a celebrity. This long leather coat complements the outfit without taking anything away from the dress, whilst providing some 90s nostalgia. A jacket like this is such a spring staple because it really can make or break an outfit and bring it from simple to edgy, or from day to night.

The 70’s Suede Jacket

This jacket is everything!! Suede is so stylish and reminiscent of the 70s and hippie style. The panelling on this jacket adds structure, and the silk inside brings another dimension to any look. This jacket can be worn in so many ways and would match with any neutral outfit to bring it to a street-style level. The colour also complements so many other colours, helping tie an outfit together and drawing attention to accessories like leather belts, shoes, or bags.

Hourglass

This cropped leather jacket is so chic! It really creates an hourglass figure, especially when buttoned up, since it is cropped just at the right length. This jacket would be great to show off a detailed belt, or worn with low-rise pants. It is a great transition piece for spring because it isn’t too long that it overshadows the whole outfit, and it can be paired with warm trousers or boots for colder temperatures.

Padded

This padded cropped jacket is great for spring because it is lightweight but warm. The colour is also bright, making a change from the darker shades often seen in winter jackets. The quilted look is very Scandinavian and also traditional for English hunting jackets. It is versatile and could be worn for a walk outside or to go get groceries, or dressed up with a silk dress or mini skirt and boots.

Biker Chic

This outfit is giving huge Berlin energy. The jacket is a cool twist on a simple leather bomber, with the contrast stitching and long zipper straps adding a high-fashion feel. The black and white outfit is super edgy, and the leather boots tie the whole look together. Wearing the skirt low-rise also looks great with the cropped jacket and contrasts the boxy fit.

Aureta

Pairing the trending shield shades with a futuristic- yet modern- fashion look, Aureta brings us one of the most on-trend looks of the week. Sporting a Chanel blazer and Ottolinger white lined trousers, the look combined traditional black and white fashions with the influencer’s futuristic vibe.

Kim Kardashian

Making yet another iconic red carpet debut, Kim Kardashian remained faithful to her outlandish and futuristic style at the Kardashian’s new Hulu show premiere. Sporting a mermaid shaped silver bustier dress and thick silver accessories, Kim showed us once again how to stand out from the crowd.

Kylie Jenner

Another of our favourite Kardashian premiere looks was served by Kylie Jenner. The youngest member of the Kardashian clan donned a bridal-inspired look in a latex Coperni gown and white Amina Muaddi boots. To create the ‘modern swan’ look, shoe designer Muaddi used the same ivory patent leather for her boots as Kylie’s Coperni dress to ensure the reality star was coordinated and sleek for her first post-pregnancy red carpet feature.

Sydney Sweeney

Proving that those who deem beige boring are wrong, Sydney Sweeney’s take on the minimal colour was sophisticated and suave. Wearing a two-piece set by Rokh, the business/casual look featured structured shoulders and pleated pants that are here to inspire our stylish workday wear.

Rihanna

In her most recent Vogue interview, Rihanna declared “it’s too much fun dressing up, I’m not going to let that part disappear because my body is changing.” This empowering ethos was demonstrated by the singer’s iconic fashion look this week.

This look was her most feminine maternity fit yet. Rihanna donned a pink crochet tee, ripped pastel jeans, and wa accessorised with a hot pink fur fringe. We imagine Barbie’s maternity closet would look just like this.

Madelaine Petsch

Fixing our Monday blues, actress Madelaine Petsch sported a khaki mesh dress paired with nostalgic braces in the same hue at the start of the week. It’s no surprise Paris Hilton commented her iconic ‘that’s hot’ slogan under the fashion-forward post!

The 1970s called, they want their look back. Drawing inspiration from the iconic disco dancing era, rap artist Megan Thee Stallion sported brown flares, a cut-out cropped tee, and ultra-bouncy 70s curls, is Megan making the case for the decade as our next fashion throwback?

Tweed has been on the high fashion radar since FW22 shows like Chanel’s tweed themed runway earlier this year.
