How your body looks is a testament to how hard it has fought and persevered. And this attitude is something we can all embody whether we’re breast cancer survivors or not and leading the way to self-love is none other than Kim Kardashian in her latest campaign to celebrate our bodies and what they are capable of.

While October certainly houses the season of frights, ghouls, and ghosts (we love you Halloween), October also explores a darker scare that we should all be aware of. October is breast cancer awareness month and while the focus should be on the fun things in life, we also need to pay special attention to our own health, as well as the wellbeing of those around us who may be feeling a little lost this month.

So, what better way to raise awareness and promote inclusivity that the queen of the Kardashian clan herself, Kim, to raise awareness in the promotion of her new Skims campaign; an ode to the wonderful Olivia Munn and her story.

Every scar tells a story of courage, a testament to a battle fought and a victory won. Scars are a mark of resilience, a symbol of strength worn like a second skin, and no one understands the importance of loving your scars like cancer survivors, and in particular, actress Olivia Munn. In March 2024, Olivia Munn revealed that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer the previous year. After four surgeries, including a double mastectomy, Olivia expressed her relief that it was caught with enough time that she had options, emphasising the importance of checking and remaining aware.

To spread this message, SKIMS have dedicated this month to raising awareness in order to empower women to check themselves regularly and advocate for your health in the instance that you feel something is wrong. This October, Skims is proud to spotlight Olivia Munn’s breast cancer journey to empower women to get tested. From October 23rd to October 31st, SKIMS will be donating to Susan G. Komen, a breast cancer foundation, 10% of the retail sales for each bra sold in SKIMS stores and on SKIMS.com across their US stores and sites again showcasing that Kim is more than stunning businesswomen, she is a mother and individual devoted to empowering women and making sure everyone feels sexy and confident in the own skin.

And remember to check those gorgeous breasts while you’re at it… or find someone willing to check for you.

Vanessa was embracing the cold weather in this monochrome cream outfit. The super comfy coat and trousers are made of ribbed fur, literally making you feel like you’re wearing a blanket. She kept the colour scheme going with a cream tank top underneath and a knitted beanie. Going quite minimalistic on the accessories, she wore a silver chain necklace, a rosette choker, rose-tinted sunglasses, and a diamanté rosette mini bag from Mach & Mach. 

Teyana Taylor

Celebrating the Hennessy X.O x Kim Jones collab, Teyana rocked her signature edgy street style. She wore this black and yellow distressed biker jacket and layered two large pearl chains around her front. Adding to the utilitarian vibe, she wore baggy white cargo pants with a ripped-hem detail and chunky futuristic trainers. She also played with accessories, mixing different earrings and wearing thick-rimmed yellow-tinted sunglasses. 

Brenda Tham

Brenda is making the most of the warm weather, opting for a dress over trousers and no coat. The denim maxi dress is very on-trend right now, and we love the strappy details. The yellow details on the waist add dimension and match the inside, and the trousers underneath are screaming 2000s. 

Leomie Anderson

The model looked effortlessly cool in these pieces from the new Mugler x H&M collection. She wore mid-wash contrast-panelled jeans with a leather bralette and a long-sleeve glove top. She accessorised with hoop earrings and a huge statement necklace made up of silver spikes. 

Mariah The Scientist

Performing in Washington DC with Future, Mariah was serving highland chic with a pleated high-low kilt from Jaded London paired with a graphic t-shirt. She wore these futuristic leather boots from Rick Owens, a thick eyelet belt, and diamond-encrusted jewellery to add some sparkle.

Stefflon Don

Steff wore this black, double-strap feathered mini dress with a slit up the side, perfect for a night out. She dressed it up with sparkly silver wrap-around heels, silver rings, and diamond earrings. Finally, she wore sunglasses to add a cool, undercover vibe. 

Cindy Kimberly

Cindy looked super cute and classy in this minimalistic black bodycon dress. She added a timeless element by wearing a Chanel pearl strand around her waist, but kept it casual with white quilted Chanel slides. Her jewellery added to the classy look, mixing a gold Van Cleef and Arpels bracelet with a gold Cartier tank and gold Chanel double C earrings.

Following on from her Vogue cover, Paloma put together this monochrome look for the Sulwhasoo beauty event at the MET museum. Giving major tropical island energy, she layers a crisscross crochet tank over a mesh bra and pairs it with a white nylon bubble skirt and chunky bubble slip-on wedges— all from Proenza Schouler. The all-white look makes her tan pop, and her slick-back hair and natural makeup give her that glowy holiday look. She accessorises with a metallic bar clutch, also from Proenza Schouler.

Bia wears head-to-toe Diesel for a brand event. Her glam makeup consists of
neutral colours to coordinate with the matching Diesel worn-look leather jacket and low-rise trousers. The camel-coloured jacket, with dark panelling, is half unzipped to create an hourglass figure and bring a feminine touch to the biker look. She carries a green and brown distressed baguette bag with bleach spots and a metallic Diesel logo. Adding to the metallic theme, she mixes chunky silver rings with dangling cross earrings. She spices up the casual outfit with bold makeup: bright pink blush, red lips, and thick winged eyeliner that stands out against her bleached eyebrows and hair.

Jordyn Woods

Jordyn wears this elevated casual look on the streets of Brooklyn, layering a long leather lace-up coat over a black Loewe tank top. She wears a pair of acid wash trousers to tie together the black and white and dresses it up with a pair of pointed-toe ruched leather boots. Her silver diamanté cage bag, also from Cult Gaia, catches the light and adds even more sparkle to the look. Finally, she layers on top a brown, oversized cropped leather jacket from her own vintage label.

Raye

Wandering the streets of NYC, Raye mixes comfy and classy with this look. She wears a Dion Lee co-ord: grey corset tank top and high-low double-arched maxi skirt. For comfort, she wears a pair of Nike Air Force Ones with white gym socks. Her bag of choice is the Ugg x Telfar mini pink and shearling trim crossbody bag, and she wears minimal jewellery, opting for oversized statement hoop earrings.

Gabriette

Posing for Marc Jacob’s heaven, Gabriette embodies the 90s grunge aesthetic of the brand. She wears the new collection’s patchwork-style long sleeve crewneck over a faded, reworked denim midi skirt and adds a bohemian element with the western disc belt.

Aureta

Aureta literally looks as if she is trapped inside a MacBook screensaver. Despite being in the middle of the Saharan desert, Aureta doesn’t compromise style for practicality, going for an all-black outfit in the sun. This bold smokey eye, done by @nikki_makeup on the stunning Lulu Reynolds, brings all the focus onto the eyes. The glowy base and almost bare lips create a stunning contrast to the eye makeup. Done with a gel liner or black eyeshadow, the eyes take inspiration from grunge and punk, while still maintaining a sophisticated style. The dramatic mascara is the cherry on top of the already striking look, perfectly framing Reynolds’ eyes.

Bedazzled Goth

Jazzelle Zanaughtti, AKA @uglyworldwide on Instagram, posted a bedazzled goth-inspired look on their page and had commenters fawning over them. From the gems on the eyebrows to the black lip liner, there’s not a single thing we’d change about this look. The simple fox eye and warm-toned blush gave the look a beautiful simplicity between the eyebrows and lip colour.

Cindy Kimberly (@wolfiecindy), shared this rosy look on her Instagram. Paired with the ribbon in her hair and the white dress, this look gave her an angelic beauty. The silver and peach eye makeup made her eyes stand out, without making it too dramatic and the rosy cheeks and glossy lips matched the neutral colours on her eyes.

We’re a big fan of green, and this look by Valerie Vonprisk (@valerievonprisk) on Tommy Genesis is everything we needed from the internet today. This gold halo eye and nude glossy lip paired with the cool-toned contour and airbrushed base give her an earthy luminance.

Ashley Quiroz (@ashghotcakess) gave us this wavy graphic liner using all Revlon products. The summery inner corner and the precise eyeliner beautifully contract each other. Her flawless base was topped off with some peach blush and subtle highlighter.

Ayami Okano (@ayami_okano__) decided to hop on the super blush trend, keeping her eyes and lips as simple as possible and drawing all attention to her cheeks. This rosy look was complete with a few colourful gemstones placed around her eyes. Her voluminous hair and chunky jewellery were the icing on the cake for this look.

Anya Kochergina created this stunning blood-red eye look and shared it to her Instagram page (@annrsb). The sharp, angular liner created this fierce and intense effect around her eyes. Kendall Jenner

Kendall Jenner went for a hot and cold look for Jay Z and Beyoncé’s Oscar party. She wore a chic brown fluffy shrug paired with a low-rise silk maxi skirt from Ann Demeulemeester. The brand’s debut collection was everywhere at the Oscars, with creative director Ludovic de Saint Sernin dressing Hunter Schafer, Manu Rios, and Vittoria Ceretti for the Vanity Fair party. Kendall kept the same updo she’d worn for the VF party and opted for minimal jewellery, adding just brown earrings to tie her outfit together and complement her eyes and hair.

Chloe Pearl

Chloe looks stunning in the Bahamas as she pairs this sheer Dolce & Gabbana dress with a green Bottega Veneta Jodie bag. The dress is perfect to cover up when it gets cold on vacation, and the see-through style has been spotted on countless celebrities recently, from Lady Gaga to Rihanna. The feathered hem reminds us of Kylie and Kendall at the Met Gala and makes this a perfect outfit for going out. Of course styled by herself, she has chosen chunky acrylic rings in green and gold to match her gold hoops and green bag.

Eva Apio

The model wore this dramatic vinyl outfit for the Louboutin FW23 show at Paris Fashion Week, celebrating 30 years of the red sole with dancers and music. The stunning look consists of a black corset with eyelet straps, straight-leg trousers, and a baggy patent-leather jacket draped off her shoulders—all from Alessandra Rich. She let the outfit take the spotlight by wearing natural glam makeup, but spiced it up with a hot pink, 2000s-style bag and Louboutin heels.

Charli xcx

Charli’s outfit for the Vanity Fair party was giving futuristic cyber princess. She wore a black corset top and floor-length pleated skirt, accessorizing with not one but three belts to top the look off! Her jewellery, featuring pieces from David Yurman and Fabergé, matched the silver 2000s eyeshadow done by Leo Chaparro, while the red details on her necklace and earrings matched
her manicure. Her hair was also incorporating the futuristic look, with a sleek twist on space buns.

Rihanna

Rihanna stepped out onto the streets of West Hollywood in this casual look with A$AP Rocky, wearing a Loewe rugby shirt turned up with low-rise jeans to flaunt her growing baby bump. Hailey Bieber was spotted wearing the exact same shirt the day after the Oscars, instead pairing it with a leather jacket and a Miu Miu bag. Rihanna went for a Louis Vuitton clutch, a single statement earring, and worker boots to accompany A$AP’s lumberjack-style outfit.

Dua Lipa

Dua Lipa wore this yellow leather GCDS SS23 co-ord to drinks at the Sunset Tower Hotel in West Hollywood, pairing it with the brand’s Morso boots with the famous teeth, and a matching silver chromatic clutch. The jacket has SpongeBob SquarePants’ face sewn into the back, and it is not the first time Dua Lipa has been spotted wearing clothes featuring the popular kids show’s characters. From the same designer, Dua wore a pink fishnet dress with Patrick Star’s face on it, as well as pairing a hoodie with the cartoon on it with a pink Prada coat for a separate occasion. We can’t help but wonder which SpongeBob character she is going to channel next!

The Clermont Twins

Look 7: Clermont Twins

The Clermont Twins brought their iconic matching style to Paris Fashion Week, distinguishable only by a few altered colours and slightly different accessories. Ahead of the FW23 show, the duo dressed in Ottolinger, a Berlin-based label known for its deconstructed design and unique futuristic and experimental fabrics. They paired black denim maxi skirts with denim tops, cinching in the waist with built-in belts. The outfits differed only in the colour of the shoes, tops, bags, and different styles of necklace. The huge cross chains added to the maximalist vibe of the sunglasses and fluffy baguette bags.

Jorja Smith

Jorja Smith’s laidback outfit for playing chess experimented with different styles, adding a huge royal-looking necklace to her velour tracksuit. The extravagant stones match the diamanté logo on her (sold out) Ganni X Juicy Couture jacket and elevate the piece, which came out in the collaboration this time last year. She also adds a feminine element with the lace tank top underneath, her purple winged liner, and her Ariana Grande-inspired hairstyle.
