]]> It appears Rhianna is busier than ever these past months as since the success of her recent Fenty Hair launch, she’s been hitting the drawing board and has graced us with more designs and new edits to her Savage X Fenty lingerie line and here we are to give you the latest!

Diesel Launch Mystery

Being released on the 8th of October 2024 is collab of the year, Savage X Diesel. Teased on Instagram three days ago, this collaboration between two fashion favourites is set to dominate October.
From sneak peak at the design stage on Instagram, these new looks combine sexy and fun, allowing loungewear to be redefined in these new designs. Stepping into the archives that inspired the new collection are iconic old school Diesel pieces that showcase denim, rips, mesh, and acid wash in an ode to the 90s.

These blue and denim edits can be seen in essence in the new Savage X collection with the first design appearing to have a light washed blue material.

Lavish Lace

Look lavish all over with Savage X Fenty’s new collection placing lace at the forefront, merging intricacies and intimacy. The new collection dropped both online and in-store on 28th September, showcasing exquisite silhouettes in opulent shades.

Sassy and bold have been catered for in bright pops of Topaz Yellow, Purple Passionfruit, and Purple Gem, while Rhianna’s Savage X Fenty staple shades of nudes and the new Dark & Stormy Blue have also been given the lacey treatment.

And a little decadence goes a long way; the Lavish Lace collection features a gorgeous all-over floral pattern suited for special occasions or feeling sexy every day, and a flirty yet subtle “X” logo charm in front.

The Halloween Edit

Also new to Savage X Fenty this October is their Halloween shop, giving all- Halloween fits and inspo to keep you sexy this spooky season.
New shades, Purple Persuasion, Black Caviar / Purple Metallic, and Sugarplum Purple / Purple Passionfruit Metallic are taking over tried and true designs so you know you can feel good… and bad this October.

Of course, we had to include the devil herself (her words, not ours). There’s no such thing as a perfect match, but Doja Cat and Halloween are as close as society will ever get. Plus, with the rapper constantly delivering such costumey looks, the possibilities are endless. For 2023, her most iconic (and recent) look is the bedazzled red corset dress she wore to the Schiaparelli show, complete will 30,000 red crystals embedded on her skin and a demonic smile. If you don’t happen to have Swarovski crystals on your nightstand, you can DIY it with red paint and glitter. It might be difficult to get off at the end of the night, but it’s worth it.

Gwyneth Paltrow gave us one of the most iconic pop culture moments of the year, so it’s only fair to acknowledge it. In case you missed it (although if you have internet access we don’t see how you would) the vagina-candle creator attended her March civil trial in an outfit so purposefully understated it sent the internet into a crazed mania (it screamed I’m innocent). Yes, we know this one is not a new and exciting one per se, but the double layer makes up for it: it’s a celebrity costume of a celebrity costume. Just add some black clip-on hair extensions to the outfit and you’re ready to get Dirrrty like Xtina.

Halloween is one of the most creative and exciting holidays of the year. Conceptualising a costume—including hair, makeup and nails—allows you to briefly escape the responsibilities of everyday life. Chanel—or more commonly known as Chanel no.1—is known for her sleek, pristinely styled hair and iconic pink and fluffy ensembles, as she is for her brutal comebacks and no-nonsense approach with her peers. Chanel always opts for extremely sleek and classic hairstyles; whether it’s worn down, pinned back, or in a ponytail, there’s always one thing each style has in common: long cascading curls. With the release of Birds of Prey earlier this year and a totally reinvented & more modern take on the character, Harley’s look has never been more fun to recreate. To achieve an eyeshadow look inspired by Harleys dual-coloured pigtails, you’ll need the brightest blue and hottest pink in your collection. ‘I’ll get you, and your little dog too!”, is a line we all know and love; however, the green-faced icon is dropping in popularity as time goes by. The Wicked Witch is easily recognised and surprisingly easy to replicate, with a lot of room to put your own personalisation into the look. The 1939 representation of the character was made infamous while wearing a monochromatic green face. This look is easy to obtain with a green base, and with so many advances in makeup and techniques, you can really elevate this look to the next level. Contouring, highlighting, and beating your face will give this look and entirely new dimension and allow you to have some room to personalise the look.

Although Storm isn’t necessarily linked directly with Halloween, the X-Men diva is a cinematic icon to women and gay guys—everywhere. It also gives a good second life to any pre-loved Catwoman costumes one might have lying around. Storm’s look is all about her ice-white hair, her piercing cheekbones and her frosted lightning bolts stemming from her eyes. Achieving these ice-coloured forks of lightening is super easy using NYX Profession Eyeshadow Base in White, and a fine makeup brush for precision when sketching the thread-like forks. Lip colour is optional—as Storm has had multiple looks throughout the years—but red or black seem to be the most commonly worn colours. The Hocus Pocus trio is a perfect choice for some Halloween inspiration. Whether you’re going solo or with your two best pals, the Sanderson Sisters are undoubtedly a staple of Halloween. With a red-head, a blonde and a brunette, you’re almost guaranteed to be able to go wig-free for these looks. The Sisters are easily recognised by their trademark hairstyles and multi-coloured cloaks. This costume allows you to take all the nostalgia from you ‘trick or treat’ days and to reinvent the nostalgic look. These looks are a combination of over-lined eyes, smoky eyeshadow, severely blushed cheeks and ruby coloured lipstick. Glossier’s Cloud Paint is the perfect cream blush to capture this flushed look. Halloween may be a little different this year, and there is still a great deal of uncertainty when attempting to predict what’s around the corner. Having a night to escape and enjoy dressing up—while taking on the persona of a personal icon—is a great way to be creative and express yourself.
