 The Poster Girl is a portrayal of fiercely confident, bodacious female beings who do not back down in the face of ordinary censure. According to the designers, the grime that comes with living in London inspires their designs and helps lend a sense of humour and fun. It is critical for them to keep the majority of manufacturing in London and to support local firms while keeping a high ethical standard. 

 Eroticism can be observed in their creations, and they believe it is a crucial component of self-expression, which is the ultimate goal of fashion. It’s also a compliment to our female counterparts, who sometimes need to be reminded of their own sex appeal.

 When they wear our garments, the majority of their customers feel sexy and confident. Confidence in oneself facilitates the release of new energy of independence and inner satisfaction, which is required to obtain from inside rather than from others and their designs elevate your confidence to a next level. Dua Lipa has been a fan of their brand since the beginning, wearing their debut collection in 2017. Many celebrities, like Saweetie, Kali Uchis, Sita Abellan, Nadia Lee Cohen, and Winnie Harlow, have long supported their businesses .

The brand have just released their SS24 collection and they are to die for! The pink and white colour palette with the lace intricacy has been the key feature and is really sexy.

However, sometimes these searches are fruitful; either we find the piece that we were looking for or we stumble upon something even better. This list compiles some of our best finds, all so that you can avoid the trials and tribulations of online shopping whilst staying ahead of trends. 

Rezek Studio

Rezek Studio is a brand that we have been seeing all over our Instagram feed. Every fashion girl, from Matilda Djerf to Kourtney Kardashian, has been wearing their pieces. Their metallic corset co-ords are the cool-girl night out look of the moment and the brand has been a pioneer of the corsage trend that has been taking over recently. 

They also just gave us a sneak peek at their upcoming collection on Instagram and it’s safe to say you’re going to want to be pre-ordering it. The Instagram Reel showed us an entirely pink look with both their trademark metallics (this time in the form of hotpants ready for summer) and corsages; and we want it all.

]]> The luxury fashion brand has taken a major step in being one of the first few largescale companies to remove itself from the social media platform. Although Balenciaga has not expanded on its reasoning for cutting its ties and departing with the platform, speculation can only assume it comes after Musk’s acquisition.

Since Elon Musk’s takeover of the platform in late October, drastic changes have been made to the company’s operation and on a user surface level. Mass firings, multiple executive resignations and employees having to sleep at work are some examples of what Twitter has looked like in recent weeks due to Musk’s new management style. If the exploitation and violation of Twitter workers’ rights aren’t enough to make companies think twice, the changes made for users and accounts may well be.

Musk’s decision to remove the verification symbol on Twitter accounts has led to chaos as misinformation has spread by brand impersonations. Companies such as Dyson have removed advertising campaigns from the social media site, along with many others pausing campaigns. Brand reputations and identities have been put at risk for many companies as their promotion campaigns have appeared alongside unwanted tweets which violate children’s rights. This has appeared following Musk’s vision for the platform to enable free speech, which celebrities such as Gigi Hadid have referred to as a place allowing the spread of hatred and bigotry. Along with Hadid, big names such as Jameela Jamil and Sara Bareilles have also removed their Twitter accounts.

However, within the fashion world, Balenciaga is so far the only luxury fashion house to wave goodbye to the chaotic landscape which is now Twitter. So, the question follows whether other fashion brands will follow their lead and step back from the platform or whether they will remain solitary?  Visual platforms tend to be more effective for fashion brands and therefore Twitter may be an easier exit for fashion brands as opposed to other brands.  We can only imagine regarding the scale and pace of changes happening at Twitter that other fashion houses will join Balenciaga in unity.
