]]> With just over a week to go until the end of 2022, invites to New Year’s celebrations are flying around and we’re starting to think about our New Year’s Eve looks and makeup choices to wear. Like every year, New Year’s Eve is all about glitter and glamour as it’s the one night of the year when you can really go all out with your make-up and get glammed up for the evening’s events. Expect to be dazzled by these sparkly looks that we are obsessed with this New Year’s Eve as they are eye-catching and would be amazing for any New Year’s Eve event.  

Sparkling Silver

Silver eyeshadow is a go-to look for any New Year’s event as it is eye-catching, timeless, and beautifully flattering. Claudia, a TikTok make-up artist created a gorgeously warm toned makeup look with silver sparkles on the eyes to bring that pop of sparkle to the look and make it NYE-inspired. The make-up artist used the Huda Beauty Cashmere Robe Liquid eyeshadow as a base for the eyes as it has a warm bronzed tone so would be good to build upon. She then did a smokey black eyeliner to add definition to the look, while finishing with glittery eyeshadow on top. The eyes in the look are the main attraction as the muted nude lip allows the eyes to dominate the look. This makeup is perfect for New Year’s Eve as it is glamorous and fun while being sexy and smouldering with heavy dark eyeliner to bring depth to the look.

Subtle Sparkle

For those of you who are on board with jazzing up your looks the New Year’s Eve by adding a splash of sparkle but don’t want to overdo it, this next look is a good happy medium as it has a touch of sparkle but not too much that it overpowers the look. The TikTok influencer Rashna has used the Mario Master Crystal Reflector in the shade Quartz to add a subtle sparkly base to the eyes and then followed up with Colorfix Glaze in Clear to add a wet look to the glittery eyes and make them pop and shine. This look is effortlessly pretty and has an element of the siren eyes to it thanks to the thinned line eyeliner that grazes the edge of the eye-line.

Our next show-stopping look that you should try this New Year’s Eve is a look created by influencer Tami. Tami rocks a flawless matte finish base make-up with rosy cheeks and brown glossy lips alongside glittery eyes that have a creative spin to them with extravagant eyeliner.  The eye-catching brownish-purple eyeliner is painted across her eyes and is in a curved shape that accentuated her eyes beautifully. There is a touch of glitter below the eyeliner to bring in that New year’s Eve feel to the look. The makeup is bold but not too bold that you would be nervous to wear to an event. The influencer uses the Nars Stargaze Eyeshadow palette to add a dash of sparkle and to draw her striking eyeliner. Calling all Euphoria fans out there, we’ve got a treat for you with this next New Year’s Eve look, it screams Euphoria vibes, and is a showstopping look that you can rock at an event this New Year’s Eve. Created by Malvina, this look is all about glitter and seductive eyes. The makeup look styles a purple and blue glitter that engulfs the eyes in an oval shape alongside metallic blue smokey eyeliner and shimmery eyelids. The creator used purple glitter eyeshadow along the eyeline to smudge the eyeliner and make a smouldering effect. This look is mesmerising and has a beautiful collection of colours that make it eye-catching. The shimmery eyelids are left plain and get their wet look by adding lip gloss or highlighter to the area to add coverage and make the look tie together. This look has more emphasis on the blue eyeliner that the influencer rocks. 1920s Simple Make-Up Look

If you are looking for a classy elegant vibe this New Year’s then look no further, influencer Victoria rocked the 1920s-inspired makeup look using the Contour Colour clutch by YSL. The influencer has gone for a golden glam this holiday that looks classy and elegant while also being simple enough that it doesn’t dominate her face. Her eye makeup alongside her lips and both are as eye-catching as the other and therefore one doesn’t upstage the other. The entire makeup look goes together perfectly and is a great look to recreate if you don’t want your make-up to be too domineering. Victoria also used the YSL lipstick in a red shade and it is very flattering on her lips. An alternative to the YSL palette is the Inglot Rosie Copper Ambition eyeshadow palette as many of the colours are similar to the YSL one used in the video and would look just as beautiful.

Simple Sparkles

For our last New Year’s Eve look we’ve included a very simple sparkly eye look that doesn’t require much more than some super glittery eyeshadow and a small-winged eyeliner. This look is perfect for those more casual New Year’s Eve events as it isn’t overpowering but it is still dressy enough to be worn out on New Year’s Eve. The influencer who created this look used the LH Cosmetics Shimmer Saga eyeshadow palette which is a beautiful palette that consists of pastel shades that are versatile and can be used as eyeshadow, or a topper on lipstick or gloss. This look is super shimmery and dreamy and a lovely look to style this New Year’s Eve.
