]]> Lebanese designer Elie Saab designs some of the most dazzling dresses you have ever seen. Pretty much self-taught, the icon has said ‘I like feminine elegance, not extravagance’ combining his garments with the luxury of Eastern embellishment and elegant silhouettes. With a long list of the world’s elite having him as a go-to for high-end events and red carpets (Queen Rania of Jordan and Beyonce to name a few), he is truly a force of design nature.

So, teaming up with L’Oreal, he has dropped his first (and much coveted) makeup collaboration. Launching the L’Oreal Paris x Elie Saab “Power of Grace” collection on May 6th, the range includes an eyeshadow palette, mascara, four lipsticks, and three lip glosses created to make women ‘feel more elegant and confident every day.’

From nude-y pinks and red lipsticks to gorgeous jewel-toned shades, the makeup translates directly to Saab’s signature style. Val Garland (makeup director of L’Oreal and all over fashion makeup matriarch) was careful to reflect his vision when designing the collection, saying “for this collaboration with Mr. Elie Saab, I needed to sort of look inside his head, looking at the detail, the technique, the fabric — was it silk, was it velvet, was it metallic — and I was thinking about how can we incorporate the quality into the colour to embody Mr. Saab’s codes of couture into the language of makeup. And we reimagined the softness of the silk, the beautiful glow of the satin, into an edited, limited-edition of modern, glamorous nudes.”

Better yet, the line is very affordable. The lipsticks come in at around £9.99 whist the eye palette retails at £15.99. We are sure this range will fly off the shelves so be sure to stock up on your favourites. Check out the collection below:
