Kim Kardashian and her daughter North West pulled out all the stops for the Jean-Paul Gaultier Haute Couture show. The duo paid tribute to the designer in the most extravagant of ways.

With Olivier Rousteing at the helm of Jean-Paul Gaultier’s Haute Couture show, we imagined a sublime spectacle and a great crowd in the front row. Kim Kardashian returned to Paris to greet her designer friend and attend one of the most anticipated shows of Fashion Week. And she wasn’t alone! The famous businesswoman was keen to formally introduce her eldest daughter North West to the fashion world. The 9-year-old girl found herself sitting in the front row to admire Olivier Rousteing’s creations. And for this visit, the mother/daughter duo put on a show with their intriguing looks.

For this new fashion event, Kim Kardashian dared to wear a replica of the Jean-Paul Gaultier dress worn by Madonna at the 1992 amfAR gala. And obviously, this thirty-year-old look has not aged a bit. It was a striped sheath dress with exposed breasts. Alongside Kris Jenner and North West, Kim Kardashian prefers a trompe-l’oeil look that gives the impression of a bare chest. Her daughter’s look is a much wiser version of Madonna’s outfit, but it’s still in the Jean-Paul Gaultier DNA: stripes, a kilt-like skirt, and rock’n’roll rangers. The detail that really catches the eye? An earring linked by a chain to a nose piercing worn by the mother and daughter. It seems that North West is on her way to becoming as stylish as her parents.

While out and about in Paris with her mother, Kim Kardashian, North West drew attention to herself with a look inspired by her father, rapper Kanye West.

As they went on a shopping spree on Avenue Montaigne, North West stole the show from her mother. The SKIMS designer sported a camouflage t-shirt, neon skinny leggings,and futuristic mask glasses that didn’t convince her fans. Instead, it was the nine-year-old’s look that caught the attention of the fashion sphere. She wore an electric blue teddy, straight black trousers, matching sunglasses, and Balenciaga HardCroc platform sandals. This cool look is partly due to her father, rapper Kanye West, from whom she simply stole his blue bomber. The latter is from his streetwear brand Pastelle, created in the 2000s but now defunct. The rapper wore it at the 2008 American Music Awards, where he won the awards for best artist and best album.
