In an era dominated by singles, algorithms and accelerated consumption, the idea of the album as a
complete artistic object has quietly returned. Not as nostalgia, but as intention. For a growing group
of artists, an album is no longer just a collection of songs; it is a fully realised world: visual,
emotional and conceptual. These artists do not release music. They stage bodies of work.
At the centre of this shift is Bad Bunny, whose albums function like immersive environments rather
than chart strategies. From the beach-washed melancholy of Un Verano Sin Ti to the introspective
visual language of Debí Tirar Más Fotos, his releases arrive with a clear aesthetic grammar:
colours, silhouettes, moods and references that live far beyond the music itself. The album becomes
something you enter – not just something you listen to.

This approach is not new, but it has become rarer and therefore more powerful. Beyoncé has long
treated albums as conceptual events, collapsing the boundaries between music, film and fashion.
Her projects are designed as unified statements, where visuals are not promotional tools but
narrative extensions. Every frame, costume and movement carries meaning. The album behaves like
a curated exhibition, meticulously controlled yet emotionally expansive.

Similarly, Frank Ocean has built a career around restraint and coherence. His albums are sparse,
slow and visually minimal, yet deeply intentional. Imagery, typography and sound exist in quiet
dialogue, demanding attention rather than demanding clicks. In a culture of excess, his work
reminds us that absence can be as expressive as abundance.

For Billie Eilish, the album has become a vehicle for visual transformation. Each era introduces a
distinct palette and silhouette that mirrors the emotional register of the music. Colour, clothing and
composition are never incidental. They evolve alongside her sound, creating a visual continuity that
allows audiences to recognise not just a song, but a phase of self-expression.
Tyler, The Creator approaches albums as character studies. His releases arrive with alter egos,
uniforms and carefully constructed worlds that feel closer to cinema than marketing. Fashion, set
design and narrative are integrated into the project from the outset. The album is not just heard – it is
performed, worn and inhabited.

Few artists have explored the album as art object as consistently as Lady Gaga. Her work has
always existed at the intersection of music, fashion and performance, with each release establishing
a visual mythology of its own. Costumes are not styling choices; they are part of the language. The
album becomes a stage where identity, spectacle and concept collide.

Rosalía brings a different kind of precision to this practice. Her albums fuse tradition and
experimentation, drawing from flamenco, pop and avant-garde imagery to build worlds that feel
both contemporary and deeply referential. Visuals are symbolic rather than decorative, rooted in
gesture, movement and material culture.

Finally, Kendrick Lamar treats the album as a philosophical structure. His projects unfold like
essays – layered, intentional and visually restrained. Imagery, staging and performance reinforce the
intellectual architecture of the music. Nothing exists in isolation. Everything contributes to
meaning. What unites these artists is not genre or popularity, but authorship. They resist fragmentation. They insist on cohesion. In doing so, they reclaim the album as a serious artistic form, one that rewards patience, attention and immersion. In a cultural landscape driven by immediacy, the album as artwork feels almost radical. It asks listeners to slow down, to look as much as they listen, and to engage with music not as content, but as creation.

Multi-platinum, award-winning artist Loreen has officially announced her long-awaited new album Wildfire, set for release on 27 March 2026 via Polydor France. The project marks her first full-length album in nine years and signals the beginning of a bold new creative era. Wildfire will be released across all digital platforms and in multiple physical formats, including CD and three vinyl editions — Day, Dusk, and Midnight — each tied to different locations worldwide, reinforcing the album’s immersive and intentional release concept.

Loreen Drops New Single “Feels Like Heaven”

Alongside the album announcement, Loreen will unveil her transcendent new single “Feels Like Heaven”, available from midnight CET this Friday. Emotionally charged and expansive, the track introduces the sonic world of Wildfire and follows a striking teaser campaign that saw projections appear across London, Paris, and Berlin, with the phrase “mother is coming” igniting global fan anticipation.

The upcoming album also includes Loreen’s critically praised single “Is It Love”, as well as her global smash “Tattoo”, which topped charts in more than ten countries and solidified her status as one of the most impactful artists of her generation.

Wildfire Album Release Date and Details

Following a career defined by emotional honesty and artistic fearlessness, Wildfire builds on an era-spanning catalogue that includes the cultural milestone “Euphoria”, alongside releases such as “Forever,” “Gravity,” and “Warning Signs.” Fourteen years on from her debut, Loreen’s work has amassed billions of streams worldwide, establishing her as one of modern pop’s most spiritually resonant voices.

Rooted in her Nomadic heritage and shaped by electronic, dance, and global pop influences, Loreen’s sound exists in a space entirely her own — visceral yet ethereal, intimate yet expansive. With Wildfire, she invites listeners into a journey that embraces the full emotional spectrum: despair and confusion, anger and aggression, pain, sexual energy, and release. Rather than suppressing emotion, the record creates space for truth to surface. In Loreen’s world, power does not come from dominance, but from honesty — and through that truth, something truer is finally able to rise from the ashes.

On October 29, Karol G officially took her place at fashion’s main table with the launch of her
capsule collection with Diesel, and it is everything we didn’t know we needed: tropical sensuality
meets European grit. Designed alongside Diesel’s Creative Director Glenn Martens, the nine-piece
drop translates the Colombian singer’s Tropicoqueta era into wearable art: a fusion of heat,
rebellion, and identity that feels like a love letter to the global Latin woman who owns her spotlight
rather than chasing it.

The partnership feels natural. Diesel has been slowly reclaiming its cultural relevance under
Martens, and Karol G embodies everything that makes the brand tick. It is loud, unapologetic, and
sexy in a knowing way. Together they created a collection that reimagines Diesel’s grunge-infused
denim through a lens of mar Caribe glamour. Think metallic swimwear, high-shine orange knit
dresses, lotus-print denim jackets, and the statement piece of the season: a “LATINA FOREVA” Tshirt
that might as well be a manifesto.
The visuals, shot in sun-drenched palettes that echo the Tropicoqueta album art, blur the line
between stagewear and streetwear. Karol herself wears the collection with a slick ponytail, gold
hoops, and the confidence of someone who has nothing left to prove. It is not costume; it is
declaration. And in an industry where female pop stars are often filtered into archetypes : “the
muse,” “the rebel,” “the bombshell”; Karol’s Diesel era feels refreshingly self-directed.
Beyond the aesthetics, this drop signals a strategic move from both sides. For Diesel, it is a chance
to deepen its connection with a new global market, Latin America, and a diaspora of fans who see
themselves reflected in Karol’s mix of softness and fire. For Karol G, it is more than merch. It is

cultural positioning, the moment she shifts from music icon to full-fledged fashion player. The kind
who can command both a stage and a runway.
Pieces range from the metallic one-piece swimsuit that’s practically made for Coachella 2026, to
lotus-printed denim that feels like a second skin. Every garment holds the same subtext: You can be
Karol G stars in Diesel’s Tropicoqueta-inspired campaign, wearing
a metallic orange top and signature Double D bag. Photo: Courtesy
of Diesel / Photography by Jean-Baptiste Mondino.

feminine and fierce; glitter doesn’t cancel grit. Even the accessories, a reworked Diesel “Double-D”
bag in chrome and pink lotus, whisper luxury without screaming trend.
Ultimately, Karol G x Diesel isn’t just a collaboration; it is a cultural crossover. A dialogue between
Medellín and Milan, nightlife and daylight, rhythm and rebellion. In an era where every celebrity
drop screams virality, this one hums authenticity. It is proof that when fashion and identity meet on
equal terms, the result is more than a capsule, it is a story worth wearing.

6th June, London — Rita Ora is coming in hot. The multi-platinum pop powerhouse just released her fiery new single “Heat”, a sun-drenched anthem designed to set the season ablaze. The drop coincides with her performance at World Pride Music Festival in Washington D.C., proving once again that Rita knows how to own the moment.

Produced by Peter Thomas (the mastermind behind hits for P!nk and Selena Gomez), and co-written with Leland, Michael Matosic, and Troye Sivan — Heat brings the kind of playful, golden-hour energy we all need. It’s bold, cheeky, and unapologetically feel-good.

“Dropping ‘Heat’ on the same day as World Pride feels iconic,” Rita shares. “It’s a celebration of joy, freedom, and being unapologetically YOU. I just wanted to have fun with this track — it’s totally soaked in sunshine.”

The track first made waves during her Miami performance on Kylie Minogue’s Tension Tour, and now it’s gearing up to dominate summer playlists. Next stop? London’s Summertime Ball on 15th June, where Rita is set to bring the heat (literally).

And the video? A full-on visual escape. Directed by Justin Daashuur Hopkins and shot in rich technicolor hues on Miami Beach, the “Heat” video is a surreal, high-energy celebration of beach culture — eccentric, sweaty, wild, and unapologetically alive. Think Martin Parr meets sun-drenched fantasy.

With 13 UK Top 10 singles, four Number Ones, and a BRIT Billion Award under her belt, Rita Ora’s reign isn’t slowing down. Her latest album You & I debuted at #1 on the UK Independent Albums Chart, with fans and critics alike praising her evolution.

Rita’s here for the summer — and she’s bringing the Heat.

Voir recently had the pleasure to interview Sophie Castillo, an up-and-coming Latina indie musician before she jetted off to Miami, on her US tour. Sophie grew to fame after a viral TikTok of her song went viral and since has opening for the likes of J Balvin last summer. Sophie draws upon her Latina heritage and London upbringing to fuel her musical artistry as well as being influenced by singers like Lana Del Rey and indie 2000s rock bands. She has an EP coming out soon – the first single will be released on 28th February, followed by the full album in April.

One of the big things about your music is how you are inspired by your multicultural background. How has being a Londoner influenced your artistry?

Oh, I love that question as most people ask me about my Latin heritage! Growing up in London I listened to all the British music we like as teenagers especially rock and indie bands like The Arctic Monkeys, The Vaccines and The Kooks. It was the Tumblr days, that indie-sleaze era. But that at home we always had Latin music playing.

Lana Del Rey has been my favourite singer since I was 13 when she released the Video Games music video – everyone was talking about it at school and I become obsessed with her lyrics.

You started singing at just three years old and performed in musical theatre early on. Do you think your theatrical background has shaped your stage presence as a performer?

I did musical theatre from 5 to 13 and it really helped me train my ear through singing in a choir and practising harmonies. This has been essential when I am in the studio and am recording vocal production and harmonies in my songs. In terms of performance, it helps me views things from a more theatrical perspective in how to bring my performance to life. I can be a bit of a critic of myself but it’s important to analyse your performances and really put on a show.

What was it like gaining recognition through TikTok? How has this platform shaped your audience and the way they engage with your music?

TikTok for me has been a total game changer. It kickstarted my career. It was the most ridiculous TikTok that went viral. I was using a Cap Cut template and it was all blurry. I just posted it, like whatever, then it went super viral! It was the start of my career and helped me connect with lots of people all over the world. I was really D-I-Ying the whole music thing before that video.

You often blend languages in your songs, seamlessly switching between Spanish and English. Was this inspired by other Latina artists or was it a natural reflection of growing up in a bilingual household?

It is quite symbolic of my life to be honest. When I do English and Spanish it feels quite authentic to me, and it embodies this fluidity between culture and language. I quite like to make a point of using both languages – I feel more engaged with my audience. I prefer a Spanish chorus because the words have a nice and lively sound to them, and then a verse or pre-chorus in English.

How do you want people to experience your music? Where do you imagine them listening to it, and what kind of emotions do you hope to evoke?

I would definitely say in the car. My fans send me a lot of pictures of them listening in the car. I get so much inspiration when I’m travelling, on the tube or on the bus. I think because our lives are so busy, travelling is the only time we get to properly listen to music.

You’ve already worked with some amazing artists, but who is your dream collaborator?

100% Lana Del Rey. I love her so much. That would be a dream come true.

You are a key musician in the indie Latina music scene, but how do you see it evolving and changing over time and you yourself within it?

I find myself going through a bit of a sound evolution – I am getting older and more confident, and I’ve really enjoyed making some darker pop songs. I think major Spanish and Latina artists will start tapping more into salsa than reggaeton. I want to help bring more Latin genres to the front like salsa and bolero.

If you weren’t a singer, what path do you think you would have pursued?

I really like fashion. During lockdown I was making clothes and selling them at home. I would have loved to have been a fashion designer. If not, then a doctor. I find medicine really interesting, and I love tv shows set in hospitals. I was watching The Good Doctor recently and loved it.

Una Noche de feminidad poderosa y GRASA con Nathy Peluso

London was left in an uproar of song, dance and raw emotion as Nathy Peluso performed her latest album, GRASA, at Roundhouse Camden, last night. Having rapidly risen to fame with her first album and worldwide tour, Calambre in 2020, the Argentine-Spanish singer returned to London with a second studio album tour, GRASA.

The atmosphere was electric as the crowd danced to an array of salsa and alternative Latin music, getting ready for a dynamic and animated live performance. The crowd chanted “Nathy” whilst the band prepared their positions, and as the lights came down, Nathy appeared centre stage. Starting her show with ‘CORLEONE’, Nathy wore head to toe Marine Serre, rocking their crimson red leggings, a graphic T-shirt and red mesh bodysuit, polished with black knee-high boots.

GRASA, debuted last May 2024, was released with the intention to show a more intimate side of Nathy, sharing that the album was about learning to love yourself and knowing your worth. Being four years since her last album, Peluso felt her life had changed significantly and used GRASA to deal with her emotions privately, all the while creating an artform that she could share with her fans. Learning from the successes and navigating the challenges, Nathy’s most authentic album to date was formed, self-directed and produced alongside artists Manu Lara, Didi Goodman and Rafael Cauta.

Appearing on stage with a white flag, printed with her album title, GRASA, Nathy sang ‘LA MENTIRA’, a single that is a critique of modern society’s superficiality. Symbolising a ceasefire with society’s falsehood, Nathy waves the flag back and forth as she raps about a world where authenticity is attacked.

Nominated for Grammy’s Best Latin Rock and Alternative Album, GRASA shows a diverse range of technical skills, amalgamating authentic Salsa melodies with underground Rap. Getting the crowd off their seats and singing with once-considered strangers, Nathy performed fan favourites, ‘TODO ROTO’ featuring CA7RIEL and ‘MANHATTAN’ with Duki, showcasing artist collaborations chosen intentionally by Nathy for their personal tone, attitude and creativity.

Effortlessly engaging with her audience in every song, Nathy takes a moment to sit down and impart wisdom. Acknowledging her sold out venue that is bursting at the seams with cheer and excitement, Nathy gives her crowd a special message on gut feelings; that “in these hard times, you must always listen to the signs and connect”, before singing with pure vocals, ‘EL DíA QUE PERDÍ MI JUVENTUD’.

Having chosen the title post album-creation, Nathy aimed to find a phrase matching her hard work in creating this uniquely blended album. ‘Grasa’, a Spanish phrase of several meanings – most associated with negative connotations such as ‘vulgar’ or ‘tacky’ – also means greasy or oily, to which Peluso often recounted her father coming home from a day’s hard work at a gas station with dirty and greasy hands. Nathy chose to redefine GRASA as tough, strong and hard – a description of how she worked tirelessly to overcome struggles and navigate hardships.

Nathy ended the show with the much-loved singles, ‘VIVIR ASÍ ES MORIR DE AMOR’ and ‘REMEDIO’; the perfect way to fill the venue with an overwhelming sense of love and gratitude. A standing ovation followed as Nathy gave endless thanks and blessings to her fans who travelled far to experience pure energy and a superlative performance from one of our favourite Latin singers.

GRASA is an ode to Nathy’s effortless musical fluidity and outstanding artistry.

Calling all music lovers – there’s a new Bose release on the scene.

Bose has collaborated with Tyla and released their brand new Ultra Open Earbuds so you can have the best of both worlds – listening to music but also not missing a thing around you.

The immersive audio and open-ear design allows you to listen to music privately and also hear what’s going on around you, the perfect solution to not having to pause your music when someone speaks to you! With simple button controls, seven-hour battery life, and water resistance, Bose has got you covered.

The innovative Earbuds are easily controlled through the Bose app and feature a seamless Bluetooth connection.

The Grammy-winning pop-R&B sensation, Tyla, knows what she’s talking about when it comes to music, and she can’t get enough of these saying she “loves the open earbuds”.

Music artists Central Cee and Don Toliver are also featured wearing them, along with musician Lisa saying, “the Ultra Open Earbuds are one of [her] favourites” and that she’d “style it like an accessory”.

We tried the demo on the website, and all we can say is that we are incredibly impressed. This is a must-buy for headphone lovers.
