The company has also built a name for itself by making waves and breaking boundaries in regard to their fantastic marketing. They exceeded expectations yet again, with the debut of its first-ever TV advertisement during The Oscars, one of the most highly anticipated events of the year, which again showcased the brand’s clever business strategy and ability to utilise pop culture for their own success.

The futuristic commercial, set inside a SKIMS Lab on a ship in outer space. The advert was directed by Frank Lebon and produced by Wieden and Kennedy, best known for their work with Nike, and features Kim in an “out-of-this-world” universe, testing out several of her brand’s best-selling pieces. They worked alongside the incredible costume designer Heidi Bivens, known for her work on HBO series Euphoria.

With the assistance of a group of Kardashian “Klones,”or lookalikes, the reality star who wears a nametag saying she’s Skim’s “Chief Engineer”, checks out new bras, T-shirts, and shapewear sets to Gary Wright’s 1975 hit song “Dream Weaver.” The camera then pans through the “Klones” as, all of which were united by a sense of empowerment and confidence. The women were shown wearing the iconic Skims products, which hugged their curves and accentuated beauty.

“With this being our first-ever made for TV campaign, we really wanted to bring viewers into the SKIMS universe and create a film about our brand story and obsession with product development in a witty, yet extravagant way,” Kim Kardashian was recorded saying in a press release. “It was great working with Frank [Lebon] on this—his unique creativity and talent for storytelling really shined through. I am really proud of what we created together.”

On top of it’s core message of inclusivity, the ad also highlighted the brand’s dedication to quality and innovation. Viewers were treated to a behind-the-scenes look at the design process of Skims products, showcasing the brand’s attention to detail and commitment to creating shapewear that is both comfortable and flattering. 

The debut of Skims’ first TV advertisement was an incredible success. The ad resonated with viewers for its light-hearted spin, as well as its commitment to quality and innovation. As the brand continues to grow, with plans to expand into physical retail with its first flagship stores in Los Angeles and New York, Skims is poised to become even more so of a major player in the world of underwear and loungewear as well as business in general.

]]> Kim Kardashian never misses a beat, always managing to bag the it-girl of the moment for her Skims’ campaigns.  In the past she has featured the likes of Addison Rae and Megan Fox at the peak of their publicity, and Kim’s’ finger remains on the pulse for her Valentine’s campaign featuring White Lotus’ Beatrice Grannò and Simona Tabasco. Kim took to Instagram to announce the collaboration captioning the post “I watched The White Lotus and had to have my girls!” The Valentines drop will feature ten limited edition collections and will be launched on January 26th spanning across lingerie and loungewear, with even a little bit of latex.

Fits Everybody

The campaign has been built around the phrase ‘Everybody is Wearing Skims’ as the brand launches the lace variations of its famous ‘Fits Everybody’ collection. Skims’ will be releasing five limited edition colours of the ‘Fits Everybody Lace’, including four shades of pink, perfect for Valentine’s Day. This includes a lace edition the famous Skims slip dress which will be sure to go as viral as the others.

Jelly Sheer Rhinestone

The Valentine’s Collection also marks the launch of the ‘Jelly Sheer Rhinestone’. The sparkling collection is available in both ‘Onyx’ and ‘Petal’ allowing you to choose between dark femininity or a bubble-gum pink look. The ‘Jelly Sheer’ collection is one of Skims’ already beloved ranges that has received a Valentine’s revamp, this time in the form of rhinestone embellishment.

Warp Knit Catsuit

A much bolder launch is the ‘Warp Kit Catsuit’. We all remember Kim Kardashian’s mask phase, even taking to the Met Gala steps in a latex look that we only knew was hers because we told so, and Kim has decided to share this look with her customers through the ‘Warp Knit Catsuit’.

Knit Lace

If you like the look of catsuits but don’t want to be quite as bold as the ‘Warp Knit’ look, don’t worry because Kim has you covered. The ‘Knit Lace’ collection not only has a catsuit in a variety of shades but also a whole range of products to mix and match within this collection.

Sculpting Bodysuit

Of course Kim could not leave the viral ‘Sculpting Bodysuit’ out of this Valentine’s drop, coming out with two new pink shades of the internet’s favourite shapewear-turned-going-out-top.

Ultra Fine Mesh

Yet another Skims staple got the Valentine’s treatment this year with the Ultra Fine Mesh collection launching in the limited-edition shade Petal, a soft pink to add some love to your underwear drawer.

Soft Lounge

Another favourite from Skims, the ‘Soft Lounge’ collection not only came out with pink variations but also some heart prints this Valentine’s Day. And you’ll be glad to hear that both of the internet’s favourites the ‘Soft Lounge Long Slip Dress’ and ‘Soft Lounge Boxer’ were included in the Valentine’s drop.

Lace Trimmed Silk

The Valentine’s Collection also marks the launch of Skims’ latest sleepwear venture, the ‘Lace Trimmed Silk’ collection. The four-piece collection features a high-leg teddy, cami and short set and a slip dress all in a vibrant pink silk with red lace trim.

Valentine’s Slipper

For the cosier element of V-Day Skims has launched a faux-fur pink slipper, ideal for a comfy night in with the girls.

Latex

We all know that the Kardashians are big fans of latex and Kim only confirmed this further when she added a range in the form-fitting material for her New Year’s Collection last month. Kim is already looking to expand her latex collection by adding a Barbie pink variation to the shelves of Skims in honour of Valentine’s Day.

]]> Balenciaga has released the second instalment of their new campaign, with Kim Kardashian leading the way as the latest face of the brand.

Kim was photographed by Stef Mitchell in her luxurious Calabasas home, dressed in all black from head to toe, wearing a longline figure hugging coat and stiletto boots. The outfit is reminiscent of Kim’s infamous 2021 Met Gala look, in which the star wore black lycra over every inch of her body. 

Justin Bieber and Isabelle Huppert are just a few more faces that are part of the campaign, also photographed by Stef Mitchell. Balenciaga aims to celebrate the most supportive friends of the brand in comfortable and familiar places, shooting in locations from Kim’s Calabasas home to Justin’s favourite LA Studio. 

If these photographs weren’t exciting enough, the campaign is due to be screened on famous facades around the world, starting with Paris’ Théâtre de la Ville. 

With this latest campaign, we see that Balenciaga is continuing to elevate its style and connections. Blending the biggest names in pop culture with cutting edge designs and classic names such as Isabelle Huppert is the making of a campaign that will tick all the right boxes whilst gaining exposure from fashion fans across the globe.

We all love a good Kim K product and today is another lucky day for all Kim’s Skims fans as the brand just dropped a new Mesh Foundation collection. It’s breathable, it’s stylish and it’s super comfy.

Yesterday, Skims announced the release of their new Mesh Foundations collection. The collection offers seven different pieces of underwear including two pairs of bottoms and five pieces of bras and bralettes. The products come in 6 different colours (Clay, Sienna, Jasper, Rose Clay, Plum and Onyx) to match different skin tones and occasions. 

Kim Kardashian’s Skims offer a mesh underwire bra that allows you to have support and comfort for everyday tasks, at the same time, creating a smaller silhouette and a rounder bust with their particularly innovative design. Of course, Kim didn’t forget to include a mesh strapless bra that we all need in our lives for every special occasion. The mesh strapless bra comes in three colours: Sienna, Onyx and Plum. The bra is stylish and convertible in case you need to put those straps back on. For the bralettes, Skims include a mesh triangle bralette for a sexier look and a mesh scoop bralette for those who are looking for comfort. To complete the set, Skims have two different bottom pieces; a mesh build up thong that is designed to wear with low rise bottoms and a high cut mesh bikini brief for a more flattering look. 

The Skims online shops offers a variety of different collections and products to choose from. The new Mesh Foundations collection is definitely a fresh breeze to our underwear drawer and we love it.
