After founding her namesake brand in 1991, Bobbi Brown became a household name. Brown, famous for her educational make-up books and sultry smokey eyes, left the brand in 2016. Now, the beauty mogul returns and with her, she brings the release of a brand new cosmetic company, Jones Road.

Jones Road was founded on the idea that “every product should be a hero product.” Injecting Brown’s lifetime of expertise into every item, their website argues that the world doesn’t need more beauty products. It needs better beauty products.” For Jones Road, this materialises in clean products accessible to all skin tones, skin types and skill levels.

Formulated using no phthalates, sulfates, petrolatum, PEGs, cyclic silicones, EDTA, or BPA – the brand has a no-nonsense approach to clean beauty and prioritises health and wellness at the core of its creation. In a recent IGVT video, displaying the new collection, Bobbi expressed her excitement for the release and thanked her fans for their ongoing support with her new passion project. On the brand’s website, she writes, “What I wanted was a makeup equivalent of a Swiss Army Knife: easy, cool, multi-purpose products that could be used to nail any look.”

At the centre of the launch lies the innovative Miracle Balm $38, the key to glowing ‘no make-up’ make-up looks. This versatile release can be used both alone and layered on top of foundation. Bobbi’s favourite shade – Tawny, adds an effortless bronzed shine and can be used specifically on the cheeks or all over the face for a warming glow. After years of educating make-up lovers on how to achieve a perfect smokey eye, it is right that Brown’s first launch features the confidently named eyeliner, The Best Pencil $22.00 and The Mascara $26, a pigment-rich, conditioning mascara that can achieve a beautifully natural look in just one sweep or can be layered for a bigger impact.

The core collection features the Cool Gloss $22 and the Just A Sec Eyeshadow $26. The Sparkle Wash Liquid Glitter $24 completes the line-up and arrives just in time to create dazzling holiday looks this Christmas.
