London Fashion Week 2025 proved once again why it remains a global leader in innovation, artistry, and trend setting beauty. While the runways showcased visionary fashion, the beauty looks took centre stage, redefining traditional aesthetics and pushing creative boundaries. From crystallised tears to avant-garde minimalism, here are the standout beauty moments from the season.

Grete Henriette: Ethereal Shimmer and Dewy Elegance

Lead Makeup Artist: Sophia Sinot using Wonderskin

Grete Henriette made her London Fashion Week debut with a runway inspired by divine femininity and natural beauty. Sophia Sinot’s makeup direction echoed this vision, opting for a soft, dewy finish that gave models an ethereal glow. Shimmering eyeshadow and delicately highlighted cheekbones enhanced the models’ features, creating an understated yet captivating look. Models were adorned with glitter and shimmer across their faces and bodies, amplifying the otherworldly aesthetic. One standout look featured an intricate cascade of pearls, beads, and shells running down the model’s spine, further reinforcing the collection’s organic, goddess-like theme. The fusion of bold fashion and light reflective beauty cemented Henriette’s arrival as a designer to watch.

Di Petsa: Tears of Desire and Smudged Romance

Lead Makeup Artist: Crystabel Efemena Riley

Dimitra Petsa has long explored themes of fluidity, sensuality, and female desire, and her FW25 collection, Reflections of Desire, was no exception. The beauty look was an evocative extension of this narrative. Models’ eyelashes were encrusted with salt to mimic crystallised tears and to represent snow lashes, while smudged lipstick suggested love notes left on skin. Riley, a champion of zero-waste makeup, used milky and bloody textures to reflect the raw, unfiltered aspects of attraction. This avant-garde approach blurred the lines between beauty, art, and storytelling.

SRVC: Futuristic Minimalism

Lead Makeup Artist: Aurore Gibrien

Ricky Wesley Harriott’s SRVC show, set atop London’s BT Tower, embraced sci-fi influences with sleek tailoring and futuristic silhouettes. The beauty looks followed suit, featuring an almost-bare complexion with luminous, natural skin. Some models wore subtle metallic eyeshadow, while lips varied dramatically ranging from bold black or muted orange to a striking half painted effect, where the upper lip was black, and the lower lip left bare or glossed. This high contrast aesthetic reinforced SRVC’s cutting-edge identity.

Dilara Findikoglu: Venus Reborn in Gothic Glamour

Lead Makeup Artist: Yadim Carranza

Hair Stylists: Eugene Souleiman and Kevin Murphy

Dilara Findikoglu’s Venus from Chaos collection was a dreamlike vision of goddesses and mythological rebels. The beauty looks were equally mesmerising, eyebrow less models with silvery eyeshadow, lace edged lips, and tattoo-like facial embellishments created an otherworldly, gothic aesthetic. The show’s defining moment was “Look 23,” where a model emerged with cascading fiery ginger hair that flowed to her thighs, her body shimmering in iridescent hues of purple and blue. It was a breathtaking nod to Botticelli’s The Birth of Venus, reimagined through Findikoglu’s rebellious lens.

George Keburia: Broken Doll Beauty

Lead Makeup Artist: Alice Dodds

George Keburia’s FW25 collection toughened up delicate, doll-like aesthetics with a moody colour palette. The beauty looks followed suit, models wore stark black lipstick against bare, luminous skin, creating a striking contrast. Some featured exaggerated black eyeliner, while others played with metallic green lips. The effect was both haunting and futuristic, reinforcing Keburia’s exploration of childhood nostalgia and toughness.

Harris Reed: Rebellion Meets Romance in Dramatic Lashes

Lead Makeup Artist: Sofia Tilbury using Charlotte Tilbury

Harris Reed’s FW25 show, staged at the Tate Britain, was a celebration of unapologetic self-expression. Makeup artist Sofia Tilbury balanced rebellion with vulnerability, creating soft, glowing skin and nude lips to contrast with bold, exaggerated eyelashes. Upper and lower lashlines were adorned with long falsies, amplified further with layers of Charlotte Tilbury’s Exagger-Eyes Volume Mascara. Florence Pugh’s show-opening monologue set the tone, and her goth-glam spiky two-inch lashes became an instant highlight of the season, proving that bold beauty is here to stay.

London Fashion Week Fall 2025 saw beauty take on new forms, romantic, futuristic, rebellious, and surreal. Whether through sculptural eyelashes, crystallised tears, or moody lip contrasts, this season’s standout looks will no doubt shape the future of beauty trends in the months to come.

Ethereal. Structured. Powerful. These three words define Dilara Findikoglu’s latest collection, Venus from Chaos, a striking reimagining of divine femininity. With each piece, she breathes new life into the mythology of Venus, the goddess of love and beauty, not as a passive figure of admiration, but as a force of nature—chaotic, untamed, and breathtaking.

One look directly invoked Botticelli’s The Birth of Venus, with a model draped in cascading red hair that veiled her body like a celestial shroud. She seemed like a vision, stepping forth from the waves—an ethereal being reborn from the depths of chaos itself. The unexpected touch? Safety-pin trainer-style shoes, an almost jarring contrast to the goddess-like presence. A symbol, perhaps, of Venus’ modern resurrection—raw, unfinished, a woman not just of love, but of survival and reinvention.

Findikoglu’s Venus does not simply emerge from the sea; she storms out, unafraid of the debris of the world she leaves behind. One look featured a near-transparent dress clinging to the model’s skin, as if she had just stepped from the ocean and water was falling down her body. Another look was a structured, armour-like corset entirely composed of shells, pearls, and safety pins. The juxtaposition was striking—the delicacy of the shells set against the brutal strength of the armour, hinting at the duality of womanhood. Fragility and resilience, beauty and danger, creation and destruction.

Our favourite look was a blood-red dress, a colour of love and sacrifice. It was something out of a dark fairytale, a garment you could imagine Snow White wearing in a reimagined story where she is both the hunter and the hunted, a queen in her own right. Findikoglu reminds us that femininity is not one-dimensional; women are not just from Venus, but from Mars, from every star and planet that has ever existed in the skies.

Throughout the collection, exposed safety pins served as a visual thread—a rejection of perfection, a rebellion against the polished and pristine. There was no effort to conceal the rawness; instead, the collection embraced its unfinished, chaotic beauty. These pieces did not just sit on the models; they spoke, screamed, whispered of struggle and survival, of finding light amid the dark.

And darkness did indeed set the stage. The converted warehouse venue, stark and industrial, felt almost like a portal into another world. The audience could have just as easily been queuing for Berghain as they were for Findikoglu’s vision, drawing upon her brutalist, unapologetically sensual, and unrestrained aesthetic. In the dimly lit space, the models became the only sources of light—flickering embers of a revolution in fabric.

Chaos was not merely an aesthetic choice; it was the foundation of Findikoglu’s ideology. She leaned into the idea that true creation cannot exist without destruction. Venus, often seen as a symbol of beauty and pleasure, is reframed here as a goddess of rebellion, of women’s carnal desires, of disruption and resistance. Through chaos, there is harmony. Through turmoil, there is transformation. The collection questioned control—how much do we shape our own destinies, and how much do unseen forces, like the deities of old, interfere and guide us? In this show, you didn’t just sit and watch—you sat and listened, drawn into the story woven into every look.

Perhaps Findikoglu is calling on us all to step into our godlike Venus selves—to embrace our chaos, to forge our own myths, to reclaim the power that has always been ours.

On Monday night, The British Fashion Awards took place in London’s Royal Albert Hall, and the red carpet didn’t fall short of bold A-lister looks. The stars graced us wearing dazzling style choices on this glamorous night celebrating creativity and innovation, with Alex Consani making history, Rihanna coming in hot with a standout look, and the night rounded off with dynamic performances on stage.

Rihanna was the star of the red carpet as all eyes were on her and A$ap Rocky wearing Christian Lacroix and Bottega Veneta. Her blue fur get up was a vintage Lacroix haute couture piece from FW 2002 and fell nothing short of Badgalriri’s signature style. Elevated with stacked silver necklaces and black leather gloves, she stole the show.

Co-host for the evening, Maya Jama dazzled us as she wore a stunning olive-green gown with cross over detailing at the top and embroidered flowers at the front. The silk flowing train also included intricate embroidery along with a fishnet trim encapsulating Connor Ives as a designer as we see his unexpected fabric combinations and striking colours first hand.

Jourdan Dunn served us a head-to-toe leopard print moment with Dior. The model chanelled her inner black-cat energy with the cat-eye lashes, and showed off her legs with the micro shorts, perfectly accompanying the blazer and long black gloves. The bakerboy cap finished off the look with a British essence for the British Fashion Awards.

Ashley Graham walked the carpet in a gorgeous black dress from David Koma’s first collection for Blumarine. The black dress included a sheer train to finish it off and a structured bodice showing off her figure. Graham, who had her VS debut earlier this year, finished the look off with a slicked back bun and all silver jewellery.

The stunning Halle Bailey wore a bespoke Ellie Misner dress and channelled her inner Disney princess on the red carpet.
Alex Consani became the first transgender woman to win the Model of The Year award last night and as Voir puts it – made style accessible to women everywhere. She walked the carpet looking gorgeous in a Dilara Findikoglu moment and celebrated backstage in style after thanking the transgender models who came before her, paving the way for Consani to flourish.

Julia Fox joined Consani in supporting emerging designer Dilara Findikoglu, as she broke the internet in the custom dress. The white floor-length gown included sheer cut outs showing off Fox’s figure, and styled with a wet-look up do and icy makeup to tie everything together.

Chlöe Bailey (left) is pictured looking glamorous in an Atsuko Kudo black gown with a red accent in the bust area. The latex ensemble created a raw feminine energy, the pop of red giving depth to the outfit and her hair matching the vibe as it effortlessly shaped her face. The look was finished off with a silver diamond necklace as we were left with an undeniable serve on the carpet.

Simone Ashley, Bridgerton star stepped onto the carpet in a baby pink, strapless Prada gown. The coquette dress had different levels to it; from a short front to a long train at the back and was finished off with a matching pink bow on the bodice. Styled by Rebecca Corbin-Murray, Simone Ashley for sure had her girly moment on the runway in that dress, along with a slicked back hairstyle which was giving an iconic pixie cut at the front.

Ming Lee Simmons wore an undeniably daring look to the awards last night as she was pictured in a sheer chainmail dress. The floor length number was figure hugging and sleekly complemented by jet straight hair in a half up fashion and incredibly well contoured make-up. The look gave her a luxuriously fearless presence on the runway.

Munroe Bergdorf left Voir nothing short of speechless as she dominated the runway in a Patrick McDowell gown. The structured silhouette on the bodice broke off into a bubble skirt and was accompanied by a luxurious train graciously following her. The statement dress created a memorable bridal-like vibe which was sophisticated paired with dramatic flair.
