Finding make-up that is good and makes you feel luxurious is not something we take lightly, so here at Voir, we have searched high and low for a list of brands that are affordable but still make you feel like a million dollars.  

Elf

Elf is really an amazing brand; their products are spoken about very highly in the beauty world and we can see why. Their minimal packaging reminds us of nars which is an amazing high-end make-up line. Their appeal doesn’t just stop with the packaging, their Hydrating Face primer looks and feels expensive, as it transforms your face into a flawless and smooth texture ready for you to apply your make-up.  

The Elf Monochromatic Multi Stick is a multi-use stick that can be applied to your lips, eyes, and cheeks! This little wonder has a cream-to-powder texture and is lightweight in the formula so it is easily buildable depending on your preference. It produces a sun-kissed look and is undeniably gorgeous for any make-up look.  

NYX

The NYX Professional Bare With Me Concealer Serum has been causing a storm online for how great the product is. This product provides 24-hour coverage and hydration and is 100% vegan. The product blends very nicely and provides perfect coverage.  

The Concealer serum isn’t the only NYX product that makes you feel spoilt, the Shine Loud High Shine Lip Colour is a lovely lipstick that has both a lip gloss on one side and a lip colour on the other, so whether you’re wanting a matte finish or something glossier, your needs can be met. This serum also reduces the appearance of fine lines and improves the overall texture of your skin, making it a must-have product in any skincare routine.  

Maybelline

We couldn’t mention Maybelline without taking a moment to talk about their amazing Sky-High Mascara that blew up online when it was released for giving the effect of false eyelashes. This mascara was truly amazing and looked stunning on the eyes. It had a similar appearance to the Too Faced Better than Sex mascara and is famous online for being a great product. This mascara is a perfect fit and one that really does feel high-end due to how effective it is at making your eyelashes look so good. 

Milani

If you love blushes and enjoy a buildable but rich pigmented blush, then Milani’s Backed Blushes are perfect. These blushes give off a sheer shade of soft colour to your skin and have a silky application to them which makes them feel expensive and look incredible. These blushes look great on every skin tone and have an amazing glow about them. They give a dewy sun-kissed look that is to die for, so we just had to include them on our list.

sold out. Giving very little away, the makeup brand announced the release of their pretty pink
bundles on their Instagram account, teasing that within the products nestled inside there might
even be some items from a special collaboration. All over YouTube and Instagram, Bloggers are
raving about these special stashes, so what’s all the fuss about?

Each box includes an assortment of your favourite ColourPop goodies, alongside some special
new merch and they come in a range of different sizes: Secret Stash (small), CP Confidential
(medium) and Mega Mystery (large). Boxes are priced from $29 to $89, with the value of products
in the largest package totalling at over $200, what a bargain!


Unfortunately these magical mystery boxes are already sold out and ColourPop haven’t revealed
if, or when, they will be coming back. However, after a bit of digging around we found that you
can sign up on their website to be notified the minute they are back in stock. So hopefully you
won’t be waiting too long before you can get your hands on one of makeup’s best kept secrets.
